Unexpected Decision

"Why did you join the opponent's team?" Luo Ji asked Steamed Bun.

"You wanted to test how good boss he is." Steamed Bun replied.

This time Luo Ji could even understand Steamed Bun's logic. The best way to see someone's leading abilities is to receive orders from them.

It will be more challenging for Luo Ji since Steamed Bun's strength cannot be denied. In 1 on 1 fight, Luo Ji could rarely win against him.

The map for the team fight had a mountain in the center surrounded by a sparse forest. The mountain could either be passed from both sides or climbed by jumping on stones, but it required quite some skill. The majority of normal players would not be able to do it.

However, Luo Ji's team consists of guild members that help during the Boss fights and their skill level is higher than most normal players. Therefore, Luo Ji commanded them to climb to the mountain.

On the other end, Steamed Bun noticed the mountain that almost looked like made out of bricks, and he called out to their leader Light Flow:

"Let's climb that mountain!"

"It's too risky since falling can mean instant death." Light Flow explained. He has already seen some teams try and fail badly. A character who missed a jump would end up rolling down and sometimes even dragged other members on the way.

"We will take the path on the left." Light Flow said. After a while, they reached the side of the mountain and Light Flow gave orders to adjust the formation to prepare for a frontal encounter. It had the highest probability of happening. However, then Steamed Bun again yelled: "They are coming from the mountain." As he said this, Luo Ji's team was rushing down using the gravitation force to their advantage to speed up their attack.

Flow Cloud quickly made orders for adjustments to set up a line of defense. He never witnessed a team that climbed the wall at such speed. Not to mention that even in their speed, they were still coordinated very well.

"Let them hit the defense wall then counter-attack." Flow Cloud thought.

Then he saw a Brawler with already familiar name run towards the incoming players. Clearly, his thoughts weren't in line with the strategy. It was rather "Let's meet the force with stronger force."

Some long-range skills were already raining down but Steamed Bun activated Reinforced Bones as he moved forward without fear.

As soon as the opportunity appeared, he threw a brick at the Ninja who was coming at him. The Ninja was hit in the legs, lost the balance, and started rolling down. The fall from this low height would already not take too much damage.

Steamed Bun followed with a Molotov cocktail that was thrown in front of several players that were nearing him. Some tried to move to the side since they wouldn't be able to stop at this speed. The flames spread and still caught them though. A Battle Mage in the middle planned to take the damage and pass through the flames while executing Dragon Breaks the Ranks. Before he could activate the skill, his character stopped moving. On his screen filled with flames, a face suddenly appeared at the very close distance. Then again only flames could be seen but he could feel his character was shaking and moving constantly. Everything was Steamed Bun's work. He firstly used Strangle to hold him inside the flames. He also took this chance of lowered damage and hit him with the head. Steamed Bun was then making use of him as a meat shield as he moved.

"Try to keep him busy." that was the order from Luo Ji. He planned to deal with Steamed Bun at the very end when he gains the number advantage. Steamed Bun is too unpredictable and it's better to avoid him. Instead, his strategy was to take down one of the clerics. In a fight of 20 people, there were usually at least two clerics. With som many people, it was possible to take down a cleric in one go. That was also the plan that he was currently executing. Apart from the area around Steamed Bun, things were in his control. He broke through the wall of defense by targeting their attack at a single point. With his current skills, he was able to coordinate his summons very well with the attack while also occasionally giving additional commands. He also noticed that the opponent is preparing for the next big move. Cloud Flow's Warlock began waving his staff and casting spell. Luo Ji already realized that not only that Cloud Flow had solid foundations in strategy but that his skill was also superior to normal players. His actions frequently patched the holes that were created by his team members.

"Steamed Bun!" Cloud Flow messaged in the chat to get his attention.

"Yeah!" Steamed Bun quickly replied before Cloud Flow followed.

"I have a special task for you: take care of that Summoner!" Cloud Flow finished.

"Leave it to me!" Steamed Bun replied and laughed loudly. Luo Ji could hear him but he didn't know that he has become Steamed Bun's target.
