Freya was standing in a large study room that Clara had led her to. There were many books arranged on shelves, a couch, three chairs and a desk with some books and a computer on it. Everything in the room looked expensive.

"Have a seat, Freya." Dr David said in an aggressive tone as he was sitting on the chair behind the desk. She didn't know why he was sitting there like it was his house, but there was something about he and Clara's relationship.

"I would rather stand, thank you." She replied defiantly, not willing to spend much time in their presence.

He made a noise that showed he didn't approve of her not doing as he says.

"Oh let her be, let's discuss what we're here for." Clara who was sitting on one of the chairs at the front of the desk stated in an uncaring voice before she looked to Freya, "Have you made your decision? What do you want, power, money, influence?"

Freya knew Clara didn't really like her and that she was only pretending to like her in front of other people.

"I will do as you say, I won't say a word of what I saw in Dr David's basement, and I don't need anything from you, I am only doing this to save myself."

Freya spoke in a soft voice trying to sound as genuine as possible because she was definitely going to expose them after she finished her investigations and had enough proof to go against them in court. There was no way she was going to let them get away with kidnapping and torturing people.

Dr David and Clara's face loosened a little with relief, but Dr David also looked suspicious. Clara stood up from her chair with a fake smile.

"If you change your mind, know that we'll take care of you so quick that no one will even bother looking for you." Clara threatened as she walked to where Freya stood. Freya gave a small smile, "I wouldn't dream of it."

"How long have you known Mr. Brady?" Freya asked Mathew Sanders, Nathan Brady's coworker and one of the suspects.

"I've known him since I started working here, three years ago. We used to be friends until he snatched Cathy away from me." Mathew said with a clenched jaw, angry.

"So Cathy was your ex girlfriend or did she cheat on you with him?" Freya asked curious and also angry at Nathan Brady even though he was dead. She believed that he deserved to die that way for how cunning he was.

"She didn't cheat on me, no, Cathy would never do that. She ended things with me first, told me how she has fallen in love with him and she only wants to be with him." He answered bitterly.

"Order! Order in the court!" The judge slammed his gavel on the sound block as he was sitting on his chair, and the court room quieted down.

Freya and Gwen were in court as defense attorneys for the trial of Nora Thorn. The court room was filled with people in the gallery, the judge, the plaintiff and her attorney, and Nora Thorn.

"Your Honour, Nora Thorn murdered Nathan Brady, and she did so because he was having an affair. I have proof of her shouting at him to end his relationship with Cathy from his mother, Lila Park's phone while she was on a phone call with him a day before he was murdered. Ms. Thorn and Mr. Brady weren't aware the call was still going on." Mark West, Lila Park's attorney claimed and played the recording from her phone.

"Furthermore, Mr. Brady has told Mrs. Park how Ms. Thorn gets violent with him."

Lila Park, Nathan Brady's mother was the plaintiff and she accused Nora Thorn of killing her husband due to such small evidence. Freya stood up to defend Nora Thorn against their claims after Mark sat down. Their evidence wasn't big, but it was the fact that she was the jealous wife, that was what made Ms. Thorn seem like the killer.

"Your Honour, Nora Thorn did not murder Nathan Brady, she loved him dearly even while knowing he was cheating on her. We have evidence that she didn't kill him, she was with her youngest daughter at school at the time he died. We have many witnesses that have seen her on that day and during that time to prove her innocence. However, the real murderer of Mr. Brady will be revealed tomorrow after getting our full evidence."

"May I call on two witnesses to prove Ms. Thorn is not guilty." The judge responded in the affirmative.

"Calling Daisy Brady as witness," Daisy, Percy's younger sister, stood up from her seat among the gallery and came to stand at the witness stand. She took an oath to say only the truth before Freya started questioning her.

"Do you testify that you were with your mother, Ms. Thorn at school at around 2pm on Friday which was the time Mr. Brady was murdered?"

"Yes."

"What was Ms. Thorn doing at your school?"

"The principal called her. I had a fight with some of the girls at school and he wanted to have a talk with her about my behavior." Daisy answered quietly, ashamed of herself.

"That's all, Ms. Brady." She left the stand and went back to the gallery. "Calling George Cross as a second witness."

George Cross, the principal of Avery High came forward to stand at the witness stand.

"When is the evidence from the forensic arriving?" Salma asked Freya and Gwen as they were sitting on a couch in Salma's living room while she sat on a recliner. They had come there to unwind after that day's trial since it was closer to the court.

"It will be arriving later in the day at Freya's, I hope it's who we suspect, we have interviewed all the suspects." Gwen answered letting out a sigh.

"What's the evidence anyway?"

"It's the DNA of the murderer on the murder scene from the forensic and the street's CCTV footage of the murder scene inside the house from the cops." Freya answered this time around and crossed her socks clad feet, she brushed her dress with her hands, thinking.

"Where's Danny?" She asked about Salma's six year old son.

"He's out with his dad, shopping for a new video game."

"You have a son?" Gwen asked in surprise.
