"What? I can't believe she will hurt a fly. Cathy is such a sweet person, and even when James told me she was seeing Percy's dad, I was sure that she was just too in love with him to see that she's hurting his family." Luke said over the phone seeming confused.

What he said clicked to Freya, she remembered how Cathy looked after Mr. Brady's death and how she kept yelling she didn't do it. Something wasn't right, maybe someone framed Cathy, but who would go as far as forging a forensic result and making a fake CCTV video?

"I know what you mean, even from the few times I have spoken with her, she didn't seem like she will be able to kill a cockroach, not to talk of a man. But the evidences are so strong, I'm not entirety convinced she didn't do it. I will investigate further on my own and get Gwen or Salma's help on it."

Freya concluded as she turned to walk to her room, but stopped when she saw Dr. David through her living room's window watching her from his own window, and she gasped.

"What's wrong, Freya? Are you okay?" Luke asked over the phone.

"Yes, but, it's-" She said in a ragged breath, her heart beating faster in fear. "I just saw Dr. David watching me through his window, and he was just standing there, staring at me. I don't trust him."

"Close your curtains, I don't trust him either. I've heard some talk of him performing illegal surgery." She closed her curtains as Dr. David stared her down.

"I know. I saw something the other day, but I'm not sure I can tell you because I'm afraid that they may come after you too." She trudged up the stairs, not sure if she should tell him everything she knows about Dr. David and Clara, and how they threatened her.

"Tell me, they can't do anything to me or you. I won't let them." Luke assured in a breathy voice.

"I can't tell you over the phone, it's too big of a deal."

"I'll come over then because I can't sleep knowing that there's something bothering you, and I don't even what it is to help you overcome it."

"Okay." She agreed seeing how restless he was. She knew she needed to soothe his fears as he wanted to soothe hers.

"I'll be there in 10 minutes."

Freya rushed to the door and opened it for Luke. He smiled when he saw her, and the smile broadened when he noticed she was wearing a Hello Kitty pyjamas.

"Do you know how cute you look in those pjs?" She blushed at his compliment. "Yeah right."

"I'm serious." He said as he followed her into the house closing the door behind him.

They sat on her couch, he looked around taking in her house as she was facing him. She took that opportunity to take him in. He was dressed casually in a white tee shirt and dark jeans. His muscular arms looked inviting straining against his shirt. She bit her lip and looked at his handsome face. She noticed he has shifted his attention to her, and he was staring at her intensely. His perfect lips curved into a smile as his eyes held something in them, she wasn't sure what.

"Like what you see?" He asked her making her blush again and she turned her head away from him. "I know I do."

"You're being cheesy, Luke." He smiled further, and she cleared her throat. "You wanted to know what I saw."

"Yes. I want to know every detail and how Dr. David is involved in all this."

Freya told him everything from the day she moved in, the screams, what she saw at Dr. David's and how Dr. David and Clara threatened her.

"I'm sorry that you went through all this alone." Luke said as he held her hand in comfort. "From now on, you won't have to do this alone. We will solve this together." He gave her hand a squeeze before he continued.

"Dr. David has always unnerved me, but I didn't think he was this sick. We need to find out his kidnapping pattern, why Clara is helping him and strong proof to use against them in court."

"Yeah, I will start researching tomorrow."

"We, baby, we will start researching tomorrow." She smiled at his effort to help her.

"At the hunted house, I was sure that it was Dr. David that was operating on the man screaming in that 'Not Scary' room. His screams reminded me of the screams I hear every night coming from Dr. David's house."

"You need to leave this house. It's too dangerous for you to stay here."

"No, I can't leave. It'll raise suspicion and they will still monitor me even if I move." She protested shaking her head.

"He's living right next to you. What if he tries to harm you? I can't bear it if something happened to you." He said as he ran his free hand through his brown hair.

"Luke, you need to understand how moving can draw more attention to me. I know you are worried, but let me think this through, okay?" She removed his hand from his hair, stroking it with her thumb to calm him down.

Luke sighed and squeezed her hands. He freed his his right hand and caressed her cheeks. "Fine, but you know I can't stand seeing someone I care about get hurt, Freya."

She leaned into his touch and closed her eyes for a few moments. "I know, and I won't let myself get hurt." She smiled at him sadly, but pulled away to stand up.

She felt happy that he cares about her, but she didn't want to let him get all the way into her heart just yet. He has to prove to her that he will always be there when she needed him.

"I'm making some coffee, how do you want yours?"

He watched her, his face a mix of emotions. "Black."

She went into the kitchen and started making coffee with her coffee machine.

"Why did you move here? What about your parents?" She looked to the kitchen doorway and saw Luke leaning against it.

"They lived in a few towns over, where I currently work."

"Lived?"

"They passed away in a car accident, I couldn't continue living there without them, so I moved here."
