Secret Revealed

"There's The DUFF, IT, Devious Maids, Crown Lake or Hell Fest." Lin said emphasizing the last movie's name as she listed going through the movies on the flat screen TV.

"Ooh, these are really great movies! Crown Lake!" Rose exclaimed as Percy kept quiet, and Nina said, "The DUFF, no, Hell Fest."

"I can't decide, they're all good!" Gwen exclaimed too and Freya said, "Hell Fest or Crown Lake."

"I like your choices, so let's go with Crown Lake then Hell Fest. What do you girls think?" Lin proposed and everyone agreed.

They've all watched the movies before, so they chatted as the movie played.

"So how did you and Luke really come to be? You are totally a perfect match. Chen and me met at college and we've been dating ever since, but it took time anyway, not like you and Luke. You guys hit it off instantly." Lin said facing Freya as Gwen and Rose nodded in agreement and Percy rolled her eyes.

"I'm also surprised that it happened so fast. Luke said that he was drawn to me at first sight and as I started getting to know him, I felt drawn to him too. He's so caring and amazing! He took me to a hunted house and then dinner for our first date." Freya relayed to them excitedly.

"So cool! He took you to a hunted house!" Rose exclaimed.

"He's really amazing, I would love it if Chen took to me to a hunted house."

"Wow! We need to go as a group." Nina said, and Percy whispered something to her with a grim face.

"All thanks to Gwen when she told him my love for horror movies." Freya patted Gwen's arm.

"Yeah, yeah. So when are you having your second date?" Gwen asked and everyone waited for Freya's response, but Percy groaned, "Can we stop with the Luke and Freya talk, and talk about something that's actually interesting?"

"Will you just get over it, Percy. You and Luke dated for only two months." Lin told off Percy holding two of her fingers from her right hand, and that made Percy more annoyed than she already was.

"What's your problem? Luke and me had something special, and what he has with her is just a fling. He'll come back to me eventually." Percy fired back.

The new information surprised Freya because she never would have thought Luke would date Percy or anyone in their group.

"Something special that you ruined by cheating on him with Finn! Don't push doubts into Freya's head just because you want Luke back." Lin defended Freya, but she was sure that what she and Luke had was more than a fling. It was evident that he was attracted her and even a blind man could see it.

"Don't worry Lin, she can't make me doubt Luke's feelings for me. I don't know what you had with him, Percy, but what we have is permanent and a lot more special than you think." Freya relayed with confidence then leaned back against the couch and returned her attention to the movie.

"You know he's been over you for a long time. Forget about him and try to be friends with Freya, if you can't then zip it." Gwen said making a zipping motion on her lips with her hand.

Percy scoffed and Nina gave her a look, "Percy, just let it be. If he still has feelings for you, he will come back to you soon enough. Try to get along please so that we can have fun."

"Fine." Percy agreed reluctantly rolling her eyes after her best friend convinced her.

Rose didn't say anything, she continued watching the movie pretending nothing happened since she was Lin and Gwen's friend as well as Percy's. Lin stood up from her place on the floor and went into the kitchen.

"Don't you find Mr. Brady's case too easy to solve? Cathy seems like the perfect murderer, the girlfriend kills the man she's having an affair with because he won't leave his wife." Freya told Gwen in a hushed voice so that she will be the only to hear her.

"Yes, I thought so too, but then it fits because usually the girlfriend is always found guilty." Gwen replied tapping her chin.

"Yeah, but then Luke told me how Cathy is so nice and I realized that from our interaction with her, she didn't seem like a person that will be able to commit murder. I'm starting to think someone set her up and faked the entire evidence." Freya said as she watched Crown Lake, it was the scene where all the girls from the school came out as Heather during the school dance. The end of season one.

Gwen gasped looking shocked, "Can someone go to such extent? Now that I think about it, Cathy doesn't seem likely to commit murder. The person that framed her is really smart and it will be hard finding him or her."

"Yeah, but I still want to find him. I know we will be working on a new case next week, but can you please help me on uncovering the real murderer of Mr. Brady? I have another case to work on apart from next week's too." She asked Gwen hopefully because she needed Gwen to take the case since she has to find proof of Dr. David and Clara's evil deeds.

Gwen paused, "Okay, I'll do it. I also want to help Cathy and find out the real murderer."

Freya broke into a smile, "Thank you!" She knew Gwen won't let her down, not with her wanting justice and all. Her eyes caught something at the window opposite her as she glanced around the room, she glanced back and saw nothing.

She would have sworn she saw Dr. David standing outside the window. She walked up to the window and looked outside, it was 11pm so it was dark. She didn't see anything.

"Who wants popcorn and pizza?!" Lin came into the room with popcorn in a red bowl and pizza on a large white plate.

Freya followed Lydia as she walked into a door, it was the CEO's office door. It was Monday and Lydia had assigned Freya a case on her own without Gwen. Lydia wanted to bring her to meet the client at their company, Stark where they suspected one of their directors embezzling the company's money.

They were to meet with the CEO as per the President's instructions who was the client, and work closely with him to prove that the director they suspected was guilty. Freya was standing beside Lydia as the CEO turned around. He was dressed in a black suit and polished black shoes, and he looked marvelous.

"Hello, I'm Luke Walters." Luke introduced himself with a quirk of his lips.
