First Encounter

"So, then james was like, 'hey girl, what's up?' And I was like, omg! He's totally talking to me! But I just played it cool," chatted Joan to her friends as she slowly applied yet another layer of lip gloss to her already pink lips.

James was the hottest guy in school, while Joan was one of the cheerleaders for the school team.

Joan was totally crushing on James, but he only had eyes for Susan, the hottest girl at their school.

'If only Susan didn't exist,' thought Joan with jealousy. 'Then James would notice me. If only there was a way to get his attention... I would do anything to make him mine.'

Joan put her lip gloss back into her purse, and walked towards the bathroom exit with her bestie, Laura.

Laura was a slim girl with mid-length ash brown hair that hung a couple inches past her shoulders with light brown eyes.

Joan had light blue eyes and honey blonde hair which fell just below her chest. As she was a cheerleader, she constantly exercised to keep her body in shape, and was quite athletic due to continuous training. Unfortunately for her, though Joan did her best to stay in shape and to look beautiful, James never seemed to notice her. The only one that he had eyes for was Susan, the head cheerleader.

Susan had light skin with beautiful hazel eyes, and light brown hair with natural reddish brown streaks. And she also had a body that all the boys lusted after... with large breasts, a slim waist, and large hips.

"Come on, girl! Let's get going! Justin just texted me and said that he saw James!" Exclaimed Laura.

"Oh my God! For real?!" Joan squealed with excitement.

"Yes! And Justin invited him to join us for the movie, and James said yes! Now they're on their way to pick us up. So hurry up!"

"Wait! Let me check my makeup!" Insisted Joan, leaning towards the mirror to carefully observe her eyeliner.

'Hmmm... good, but something's missing. Ah! I know!' Joan swiveled towards Laura. "Hey, can I borrow your mascara?"

Laura dug into her purse and pulled out a purple object and tossed it at Joan. "Here... but hurry. I don't want to have to rush to get a seat in the theater." Lifting a leg and rubbing her ankle, she added, "These shoes are killing me!"

Quickly, but with great care, Joan skillfully applied mascara to her eyelashes. She fluttered her lashes at the mirror, pleased with the outcome as she imagined what James would think seeing her all dressed up. She reached into her bag and pulled out her blush and swiped her blush brush across her cheeks in an upward motion.

"There! Perfect!" She said with satisfaction.

"Okay miss perfect, can we go now?" Asked Laura, rolling her eyes.

Snapping her blush container shut, Joan placed it in her bag. She fluffed up her hair and pulled some strands forward to fall across her chest. She adjusted her bra and attempted to push her breasts up, as she pulled her shirt lower so that the tops of her breasts peeked out.

Stepping back, Joan observed herself in the mirror. Yup, she was dressed to kill. Luckily when Laura had invited her to watch a movie, she had chosen to wear one of her best outfits that really complemented her. She hadn't been happy when she found out that Laura had invited Justin... it made her feel like a third wheel. But now that James was also joining in, Joan felt ecstatic.

"Let's go already! I don't want to miss the movie! You look perfect already, plus Justin has been texting me asking what's holding us up," complained Laura. "If you keep taking forever, James might change his mind and ditch."

Joan looked startled.

Laura was right. James might decide to leave if he got bored.

Quickly heading towards the exit, Joan reached for the door, only to have it slam open into her face.

"Oh my God! I am so, so sorry!" exclaimed the girl that stood in front of her, holding the door open with one hand as she stared at Joan with a horrified expression.

Joan stares at the girl in shock. 'What the hell just happened?' She thought in confusion. Then she felt something drip onto her chest.

She looked down to see red liquid running down her chest, into her shirt.

Then another drop fell onto her chest as she stared at the liquid, not fully comprehending what was on her.

Lifting her hand to her face, Joan touched her mouth feeling dampness. Looking at her hand, Joan stared at it as understanding dawned.

She was bleeding.

Joan's face became red with rage, as fury filled her.

'How dare this... this bitch slam the door on my face!' Joan thought angrily.

A loud whistle caused both Joan and the newcomer to look for the source of the sound.

Joan's rage was instantly replaced with mortification. For the source of the whistle was none other than James, her longtime crush.
