YUNA, RIN AND GEE

CHAPTER 12

Gee was still standing on the spot where she stopped running for Yibo. She was just there holding the chocolate bar Yibo gave him and her tears kept on falling but she was not moving. She was remembering her brother Jake while he was laughing at her because she had stained her teeth with chocolate she was crying out to her mother because of embarrassment but her mother was trying to keep her laugh. Jake took a bite and when he opened his mouth he had stained on it too and her mother also took a bite that stained her teeth and they were all laughing at each other.

While inside, Kite was worried because it was more than 5 minutes after Gee's punishment. He was in the middle of instructing. Yuna was feeling anxious she raised her hands.

Yuna: sneior Kite, may I had a toilet break

Kite: oh Yuna, yes you may ah can I ask you a favor?

Yuna: yes?

Kite: will you tell Gee that he can come inside already? His punishment is over.

Yuna bowed and went to the door. She was looking all over the hallway but she didn't find her. She went near the doorway to the elevators when she noticed that Gee was standing there. She ran to her and she was very shocked seeing her with tears falling from her eyes while holding a chocolate bar with her eyes seemed blank.

Yuna: H-hey! G-Gee! W-what happened to you? (she was shaking her)

Gee was not responding and that made her even worried. She was teary eyed, helping her walk inside.

Yuna remembered her conversation with his brother Mr. Zhang when she went home during their day off. They were sitting in their garden while having a tee.

Mr. Zhang: Yuna, I have a favor to ask you about Gee.

Yuna raised her eyebrows but she was ready to listen.

Mr. Zhang: I was asking information about her from his guardian so that I can polish all the information about her identity so it will not cause me problem in the future once she debuted.

Yuna sipped from her tea cup.

Mr. Zhang: (he sighed) I even asked some staff from AMPM ENT Ph to investigate about it and I confirmed that his guardian here in China was telling the truth. Gee was just adopted. No one can find an information about his real parents because she was just found by her brother near a dumpsite during a heavy rain. Her adopted mother and brother were both dead. Her mother died from n accident when she was still in high school and his brother died from an accident 2 years later after her mother's death and her adopted relatives abandoned her and asked her to leave from their property. So she has to live on her own.

Yuna was very shocked and felt guilty for ignoring her and felt annoyed by her presence.

Mr. Zhang: Despite of living alone, she was able to survive from doing odd jobs, even doing jobs for males like lifting heavy boxes and working in constructions sites. The reason why she acts like she is not a woman was because she grew up with boys around him doing those rigid jobs for years. She was also bullied by her female classmates because of the bad rumors her adopted relatives were spreading and her being found from the dump site so she avoided them and spent time with her brothers friends from their dance crew.

Yuna: so she was not acting…

Mr. Zhang: Because of her mother and brother's death, although she was able to look fine there were times her co-workers will find her standing with her eyes staring blankly while tears are falling then if they asked her, she was just quiet and she will act as if nothing happened. Her landlady from her apartment also said that she had tried to commit suicide several times.

Yuna was covering her mouth and was trying to keep her tears.

Mr. Zhang: Fortunately, Mr. Moru her guardian and her brother's best friend was looking for her. He found her on her room holding a knife while crying silently. Good thing they came just in time. They later found out that she was suffering from a depression during those years. He even said that although she was doing okey now and was free from taking medicines, her pyschologist said that she was very strong so she has a big chance of coping from it. But she can still suffer from sudden attacks so Mr. Moru begged me to look after her because he can still find her sometimes staring blankly with tears falling from her eyes though she coped up from extreme suicidal acts. But you see I cannot do that.

Yuna was crying upon hearing it. Mr. Zhang was holding his tears but when he turned to look at his crying sister, he burst into tears like a child he hugged his sister. Yuna was annoyed of his brother's cry which is became louder than her.

While remembering her conversation with Mr. Zhang, she was crying while wiping Gee's tears with her face towel.

Gee: J-jake, m-mother… (Gee's tears kept on falling)

That even made Yuna cried and Gee's tears wouldn't stop falling. She hugged her tight and was rubbing her back while crying.

Yuna: Gee, its okey… i-im here … (her voice was shaking) … I-I'll call Moru…

Gee : (seemed to woke up from something) Mo-Moru…

Yuna: (was surprised and was happy when she finally responded she hugged her tight) I-im not Moru but y-you can call me Moru if you want to (she was still crying)

Gee: Yu-Yuna? (she was surprised)

Yuna released her and was wiping her tears then she wipe Gee's face, Gee was staring at her with a confused expression.

Yuna: I-Im sorry, Im sorry for what happened to you…

Gee: (was wiping her eyes) why are you saying sorry? I chose to do it, I should be punished (she smiled)

Yuna: N-no not that… (she hugged her again) If your feeling down, if you want to cry, I-Im here okey? im sorry I was ignoring you. I was just jealous and I couldn't understand why my brother was so into you and Im really annoyed by your actions I thought you were just acting or something. But when I saw with my own eyes how talented you are I came to understand now my brother but still I just cant accept you. But after knowing how you suffered alone… (she was crying hard she couldn't speak)

Gee: (smiled) Moru told him everything…

Yuna: yes, because my brother had to, to protect your identity once you passed the training and debuted. He was really believing in you and in your talent.

Gee: Yuna… can I ask you a favor?

Yuna: (she let go of her) yes?

Gee: will you keep this between us?

Yuna: (she smiled and nodded) Of course

Gee: (she wiped her tears) thank you (she smiled)

They wiped each other's face, Gee smiled that made her reveal her teeth with stains of chocolate that made Yuna laugh.

Yuna: what were you eating? (she grabbed her hand with the chocolate bar and pulled her to walk)

Gee: (was puzzled with chocolate in her hands) oh this, senior Yibo gave this to me

Yuna: rinse your mouth after you finish it and lets go back , senior Kite asked me to pick you up. We better hurry, and from now on you will tell me everything okey? You have to tell me what happened.

Gee smiled and nodded then she happily munched the remaining.

They went back together and they sat beside each other. Leo was happy to see her but he noticed that their eyes were swollen.

Leoo: Hey what happened? Did you two cried or something?

Gee: (just gave him a smile) no, your thinking too much Leon

Leo: Don't lie y- hey its Leo bro

Gee: (laughed) I told you bro Leon suits you more

Leo: whatever (he shook his head)

From the front, the braided girl was observing them specially Gee then she stood up.

Braided girl: senior Kite, why is he still here? Does his punishment really that easy? He should be suspended as Ms. Kim advised for her breaking a forbidden rule, sneaking to Yibo's unit even though he is friends with him and he is Mr. Zhang's and Yuna's cousin he shouldn't use their influence like that .

Everyone were surprised to know about what they have heard. Some were fussing over it. Gee, Yuna and Leo were surprised. Gee was about to stand up but Yuna and Leo stopped her.

Kite: (sighed and was shaking his head out of disappointment) You should have finished eavesdropping so that you have known what happened.

Braided girl was shocked.

Kite: Yibo was sick and he ask him to help him out instead of disturbing his staff. He was just floors away so he asked him. So that means he didn't sneaked out and didn't broke the forbidden rule. He was punished for being late though.

Braided girl was shut upon hearing it and everyone were looking at her disappointed.

Kite: and I don't think Gee needs their influence to be here in the first place because he was always in the top ranks.

Yuna, Leo and Maya smirked at the braided girl upon hearing it. So the braided girl went back to her seat concealing her anger from the embarrassment.

Maya and her friends were happy upon hearing it.

Friend: hey good for you Maya, they were just cousins.

Maya: yeah (she was blushing looking at Gee)

Their training for that was over, Leo, Gee and Yuna were heading out when Maya suddenly called Gee they simultaneously turned to see who it was.

Maya: (she was shy aproaching her) ah G-Gee i-im glad you were not suspended but you missed the training today. I I- had memorized what senior Kite taught us today, if you want, I can teach you tomorrow morning?

Leo and Yuna were shocked.

Gee: (surprised and that made her smile) really? Wow! Thank you! Ah what ti- (someone covered her mouth)

Yibo: im afraid that's not allowed (he was holding her mouth)

Leo, Gee and Maya were surprised specially Yuna. She was staring at Yibo covering Gee's mouth.

Gee removed his hands and was catching her breath.

Gee: what was that senior Yibo?

Yibo gave her 2 energy bars which she received with puzzled expression and he just left without a word.

The four of them were all puzzled they looked at each other Leo and Gee just shrugged at each other while Maya was glaring at Yibo and Yuna was looking at Gee.

Yuna: Yibo doesn't do that to anyone unless he likes you.

Gee: oh really? (she was smiling) hahahaha then that means.. Hahaha

Maya: (was pouting)

Leo was mouthing Gee to look at Maya good thing she noticed.

Gee: (she turned to her) oh M-Maya, im really thankful for your offer but just as senior Yibo said its not allowed im afraid I'll get another punishment again and I will not be able to take it if I would drag you with me.

Maya: (she was trying to smile) well I guess your right. But i-if you need help, just call me okey?

Gee: (she smiled) sure thank you.

That made Maya blushed even more and she bowed then she went away to her friends they were teasing her. Then they started walking.

Leo: ( sighed) your kind of popular huh? She obviously has something for you bro and I thought I was the sensei but it turns out it was you who have to teach me.

Yuna just laughed while listening.

Gee: what are you saying? She's just nice and maybe she was still thinking I was her favorite Tunnel utaite.

That got Yuna's attention and she was staring at Gee examining her, even Leo was staring at her. She was surprised and was trying to avoid the look of the two she walked past them.

Leo and Yuna: Rin! (they both looked at each other then turned to her)

Gee: eeh?, n-no im not! (she was avoiding them) agh I didn't thought this two would also know my tunnel utaite (her thoughts)

Leo: you had the same built you know, and you two seemed to have similar voice. But she was always wearing a black cap and her face was always away from the camera though and she is a girl.

Gee: see? Haha and I don't even know who's that.

Yuna: you sure?

Gee: huh? Haha of course

Yuna was not convinced but Leo had to say goodbye when they went seperate ways.

While Gee was helping Yuna in the kitchen, she was staring at het, while they were eating Yuna was just staring at her and when they were washing the dishes. Gee felt so uncomfortable.

Gee: (let out a deep breath) I -im not her okey! Im not Rin!

Yina raised her eyebrow showing she was not buying it.

Gee: Yuna

Yuna: I told you right? You should tell me everything from now on

Gee: (she was about to cry so she sighed) okey! But will you please keep to everyone specially Maya and Leo? I don't want them to liike me because of her and more over, they will discover my true identity.

Yuna: (she smiled with victory) don't worry, now tell me the whole story about you being called by the cool and aloof senior Yang Yibo? How come you became close to him?

Gee: huh? Ah it was …

Gee told her everything happened from the very beginning.

Yuna: do you like him?

Gee: yeah! I told you before right?

Yuna: no I mean do you like him like romantically?

Gee: huh? No, I just want to be friends with him and besides I don't have time for that.

Yuna: well, he seems to have interest in you (she suddenly cut her self ) D-does he know you're a girl? (she was worried she held her on her shoulders)

Gee: (got nervous) o-of course no, if he does haha, im screwed

Yuna: Yeah, brother told me to help you avoid that.

Yuna seemed disappointed. Gee looked at her with a puzzled expression.

Yuna: he really has no interest with girls? But if he does know…

Yuna remembered Yibo's interview in a fan meeting event with his brother Sean.

MC: some fans are interested to know what are your ideal type of girls. Lets first ask the cool and quiet Yang Yibo.

The crowd were fangril screaming.

Yibo wkwardly smile because he was somewhat shy but the other casts specially Sean was waiting for his response.

Yibo: I like someone who is funny and boyish… (he paused) and who loves bicycle racing (he was shy)

Yuna was having those memory while looking at her and she smiled she laughed when she remembered those days when Yibo's fans who weras boyish clothes and haircut went viral and there was an increase in sales of bicycle. Yibo posted on his social media page that, he wants his fans to stay who they are and don't start pretending to be someone else they are not and will be forced to do something they don't really love from the start that it will not make him happy.

Yuna: how long have you known Yibo?

Gee: ah I just know him recently

Yuna: have you watched the fan meeting event of him with Sean?

Gee: ah no, I only watch his dance covers and his music videos oh and some were fan made videos and behind the scenes their series.

Yuna: ah I see…

After another hour of chatting and laughing, and watching Rin's covers on tunnel, they finally went to bed.

Gee: (she bowed) thank you very much Yuna, you are the first girl friend I had, im sorry ifor causing you trouble and I hope we become friends.

Yuna: (she bowed) im sorry for misunderstanding and judging you, thank you for giving me a chance and for trusting me

Gee: no you don't have to apologize and i should be the one to thank you.

Yuna: (lift her up and smiled then she gave Gee a hug)

Gee was puzzled but she hugged her back.

Yuna: you were very strong, im very fortunate to have met a person like you (her thoughts while hugging her)

She let go of her and they said their goodnight to each other.

Before gee went to her bed. She went to the kitchen and opened the refrigerator, she smiled when she look at the energy bars Yibo gave her then she remembered how Yibo was laughing at her when he took a picture of her.

Gee: haish that Yibo acting cool but he has the capability to be a bully.

She closed the refrigerator and went to her room. When she remembered how Yibo lied to Ms. Kim for her, and her bonding with Yuna made her smile and fell asleep peacefully.
