After two weeks, he broke through from integrating of Sherwin's Emotions by using Sherwin's own Will, that grasping, holding, not giving up the Remaining Emotions for that long, to counter the Emotions he felt that shouldn't be in the first place.

Ling Fei felt that he was put into some kind of Time Loop that those memories from the orb are repeating itself. He experienced it for multiple times that made him feel like it's deja vus and started to doubt the Emotions he felt. That's the time he understood the Time Perspective and Time Loop, not the power behind of those things.
