The next day, Ciel is nowhere to be found.
She asked around but it seems no one knows him in the household. His whereabouts, origins were unknown. She searched everywhere. Every possible trace he could have left. She went back to the forest and looked for the tree house that no longer exists. It is as if Ciel's very existence has been wiped out.
Her knees weakened. She cried for the first time. She never cried when she heard the news that her father was dead. But Ciel, he's different. A beam of sun shimmers in a stone lying under the tree where the treehouse should be. She picked it up.
She walked fast as she could, took every steps her feet lead her to, inattentive how rough the path could be, with no consciousness of time. She ran until she feel her feet sore. Her pulse beat rapidly. Her head ached, unable to sink in the thoughts, the reality, the lies that were never been there at the very first place. Then she stopped. Gasping. Panting. She felt the cold wind touching her pale skin. "This can't be", she says almost out of breath. She clenched her hand against her chest. Tears continue to stream down her face. Then a blinding light shone from the stone.
