This morning I awakened just past 9AM and made my way downstairs to look for some breakfast. I decided to make some french toast and today I experimented with sugar and cinnamon levels. The french toast ended up fine but I did manage to accidentally burn some of it.
I'll be real with you all, today wasn't a super exciting day, so the chapter is going to be short.
Until around 1PM, I binged Overlord season II. I was on episode 3 as of this morning and completed up to around episode 8 within this session.
At around 1PM, I actually got ready for the day. I was a bit late as for the most part I just felt like resting in bed and watching Overlord.
After getting ready, I had lunch. I had some homemade chicken soup with pastina. It tasted good, especially considering it was microwaved leftovers from a few nights ago.
I also ate a microwaved quesadilla with sour cream to dip in. All I did was take two tortillas, put cheddar cheese in between, and pop it in the microwave for a minute.
By the time I had finished lunch, it was nearing 3PM and I began getting ready for church (which started at 5PM).
We ended up leaving for church at around 4PM and arrived at around 4:30PM. The mass this week went perfectly fine. There was a visiting priest who was very young and sarcastic.
After the mass ended at around 6PM, my family and I headed home. In the car we discussed what we would have for dinner.
We decided to cook some of the chicken patties we had in the refrigerator and make chicken sandwhiches. They tasted really good and were somewhat like luxury McChickens. I added both lettuce and tamato onto mine and it was as if it came out of a 5 star restaurant.
After finishing dinner, I went upstairs and finished my Overlord season II binge. I watched episodes 9 through 13 to finish the series.
By the time this was done, it was nearly 10PM and I sat down to write my chapter. Once again, I apologize for such a short chapter. Today was just rather bland and the majority of it was spent watching Overlord, eating, and going to church. I will see you all tomorrow, peace out.
