Rule#5: Never Let A Man In Your Bed

Rowin leans his head down and claims my lips, softly. His moist, full lips on mine taste of man and spice. I move my lips with him, unsure of how to breathe. It feels too good to care.

Suddenly, he pulls away, leaving both of us panting to catch our breath. My cheeks hot with embarrassment, I'd have hid if I could. His hair frames my face like a pale curtain.

"Why?" I pant, gazing at him with wide eyes. A small smile creeps onto his face.

"You make me want to do so much more, Bella." He licks his lips. "And you taste like Heaven."

"But...."

"But, what? Do you want me to stop?"

I sigh. Do I want him to stop? Hell no! Do I want to say that? Not unless Hell freezes over! But I need to know...

"I-I never done this, before." I blurt out. I see when reality of what I just said dawns on him. "Never?" Rowin asks.

"Never." I state with conviction.

He rolls off me, to the other side of the bed. I quickly sit up, my back to him. I put my hands on my face, completely embarrassed and perplexed by what just happened. What was I doing? I just kissed this stranger and told him I'm a virgin! And it doesn't help I broke yet another rule, with this man. I let him in my bed!

Rowin's POV

I should have known this Goddess has never been touched. What am I doing? All I want to do is get back on top of her and see what noises she makes as I touch her. Damnit! This is not why I came here! I had to find Catalina.... But I found her daughter instead...

I sigh and look over at Bella's back. The bed creaks under me as I shuffle towards her a bit. I place my hand on her back and feel her stiffen. "Hey." My voice hoarse with desire. "It's okay, Bella. we never have to do anything you don't want to. No matter how much it'll kill me." I mumble the last sentence under my breath. I pull my hand back as soon as she spins around.

"You think I don't know that?! I've been breaking all my rules for you! I have no clue why I'm doing this or feeling this way. For all I know, you could be a murderer escaped from prison!" She flings her hands up. God, she's so beautiful, even when flustered.

"-You could be someone sent to kill me, and I wouldn't have even known-"

"I wasn't sent to kill you or even sent by anyone." I chuckle.

"-And all I can think of is...." She stops. I see the blush bloom on her tanned cheeks.

"Getting you into bed." I say. I know what she's thinking. I'm thinking it too.

The look on her face- priceless. Completely shocked, she wheels around and stomps out of the room. "I'm going for a run. Try not to bleed all over the place." She states without looking back. Then, she was gone.

I stare at the door for a moment before carefully getting up. I slink around the house, checking everything out, looking for my bag. The fire as the only light. I find a few tall candles and light them. I make my way over to a room I haven't gone in, yet.

The aroma of dried herbs hit my nose as soon as I open the thick curtain. The light from the candle I'm holding shows that the entire room is full. Jars on shelves, herbs hanging from the ceiling, as well as a small cot in the corner of the room. 'This must have been her room as a child.' I think as I see drawings on the walls. I step back out and decide to see what I can do with that Rabbit.
