Fiery, Tork and The Start

Finally after a whole week of continuous practice of sensing energy around him and absorbing it, he was finally able to do it as if it were second nature to him and he was even able to bring it outside of his body a little bit.

The excitement and joy he felt at this moment was monumentally high but why wouldn't he be this happy especially when he could finally start learning more about this world on his own and stop getting looked down on by people or judged and being marked as something scary by the people around him for being something different than them. But he of course knew that this was just the beginning.

He still had a long way to go and so much to learn and figure out hell the book he read to learn about Astral Power only had information on how to get to the Third level and he was sure there was a lot more than just three levels seeing as how easy it was for him to start the first part of the awakening stage,

"Now it's time"

As he whispered under his breath he started to think about a plan moving forward. How he was going to get stronger and how much time he planned on spending to training just the Astral ranks as well. Thinking it over, his most likely best way was to try and find astral or normal beasts to fight at first throughout the day and at night train his Astral rank.

With his plan coming together in his head which honestly was a very simple one for now of just going to the Myriad Locked Forest outside his Fiery Clans surroundings and train. Fighting and getting experience through the different amounts of Astral Beasts in it.

Then he could walk back up the mountain to get a decent rest in his journey over the hourish long journey and finally come back to his home for a period of time to absorb energy and practice using it as much as possible then finally sleep.

"Yea that should do it for now at least, pushing yourself too hard won't be beneficial at least not right now."

let it also be known that the Astral Beasts found anywhere could of course use astral energy and even Body Fortification to boot. So it definitely wasn't going to be an easy time for him in the Myriad Forest and he knew for a fact that if he messed up or even went to the wrong area by accident he would definitely end up a corpse or the very least in the stomach of a beast. While he was thinking of his plan he was already starting to run out of his rundown room, if that's what it could even be called.

Like always whenever he saw someone or when someone saw him in the clan all he saw was looks of disgust and fear on them as if he was some sort of monster.

But this time he didn't let it get a damper on his good mood especially now because things were beginning to change for him. So he ignored these people before continuing his run through the hallways before finally leading to the back entrance that had a path that led around to the front of the clan.

After reaching the front field at the entrance he took a slight stop to at least appreciate the decent view leading to the gate. He always use to be sad when looking around the clans exterior before because it was surrounded by 15 meter high solid steel walls that completely enclosed the whole area except for the gate. To the Fiery Clan it was there protection against Astral Beasts but to him it looked like a cage but now that thought changed slightly and he at least could look at it now without getting to sad which was a step in a good direction.

The open field also had lush green trees that lined up the path to and from the gate to the clan with rare flowers lined in between. With small iron gates that didn't do very well at keeping people who wanted to avoid the path out but most people that came down that path wouldn't do such a thing in the first place so it wasn't too big a deal. In return though since they were like that he could easily use it to sneak around undetected as possible and get to the entrance.

After running for about 5 minutes to the front he reached the gate only and slowly opened it up leaving just enough room for him to slip through quickly and then shut it behind him and bolted off down the mountain in the opposite direction of where the town of Tork was towards the Forbidden Forest.

The Fiery clan he was in was situated at the top of a giant hill. With the top being flattened by who knows what or who. It was conveniently situated behind the town where it stood in between the Myriad Forest and the town acting like a stop gap in case of emergency and to help protect the people in town.

Tork though wasn't a very big town but it did have a decently sized population of around 5 thousand which wasn't much but it was still not on the small side.

His clan known as the Fiery Clan is also the lords of it and at the very least the strongest people in the near proximity and was also assigned watch duty over this area from one of the other clans in this continent but most people didn't know which one it was and not even he himself knew which clan did it but it was sorta obvious seeing as how he didn't know much except for what he learned on his own because no one would teach him anything.

Unfortunately throughout his life he had to learn everything himself maybe not completely at the very beginning but afterwards it was all self taught. Which even led to him getting a slight habit of talking to himself after trying to learn how to speak properly and more fluently.

"But alas even after I got a lot better at speaking old habits die hard..."

*sigh*

After thinking about silly stuff he continued running down the hill. He was running through the forest so that he could hopefully either find some normal animals to fight or weaker Astral Beasts. But he wasn't lucky today it seemed because even after running for over half an hour he still didn't see anything that suited his needs for training so begrudgingly he could only move forward.

Running for around an hour he finally reached the entrance of the Myriad Forest. The only way to even know if it was the entrance or not to the forest was that the trees around him and their leaves started changing colours slightly. The further in you go the more and more the change of colour is and of course the more dangerous it gets.

He was finally going to take his first step on his path even if it was only the beginning. One step forward was one less step he had to take and it felt exhilarating to him.

"How will this play out I wonder?"
