Different Turn Of Events

The second the words left her mouth due to her lapse of judgement she instantly knew she made a mistake. While she planned to tell him, she didn't want to just now. But due to her own carelessness she ended up saying something she wasn't ready to say to him for her sake and his.

"Ahhh....can you pretend you never heard that boy?"

"Sorry no can do. Why were you so worried about someone you had never met because I highly doubt you just go around saving everyone especially in the Myriad forest...."

Now that he said that a thought finally came to his mind "Why was someone else here in the Myriad Forest and why did they help me?" Over the course of two years he had never once seen a human besides himself entering the place and while that didn't mean no one entered it in that timeframe it was still strange especially considering the fact that she was strong enough to beat the Kaltae and even ended up saving him. Due to him just waking up and being cautious those thoughts didn't surface at first and he was just happy to be alive but now that she said that and he was starting to feel better the more time passed it finally came to him that this whole situation he was in was not normal in the slightest in fact it was down right abnormal especially the fact that she appeared genuinely worried about him just then and seemed to know him.

Over the course of his life though and in the Myriad Forest no one had ever been close to him though let alone that close to him to know where he was or doing or to be as worried as she sounded towards him. At least not anyone he could think of. With that information brought way more questions then he had before and put him even more slightly on guard.

"Who are you really, and what do you want from me."

Though he was injured and saved by her he still mustered up all his courage and strength to voice that sentence as harsh as he possible could while putting himself on absolute defence. Though in the back of his mind he knew it was absolutely pointless considering the fact that she could kill the Kaltae Astral beast that thrashed him with no effort whatsoever and also saved him.

"Well I wanted this to wait until you had recovered a little more but I guess it's too late now. First of all there's no need to be so on guard with me silly if I wanted to hurt you I could of done it at any point of time or refused to save you. Secondly I don't have the pleasure of having a name so you can call just refer to me as women at the moment just like how I refer to you as boy. Were similar in that regard don't you say? Finally I don't want anything from you, I just want to help you."

Hearing her answer calmed him down again because he had the same general thoughts but he couldn't be completely sure because at the end of the day most people didn't do things similar to this woman and he still didn't really have any idea who she was or how she knew him. Unfortunately he was stuck in her palms at the moment.

Literally.

"haaaaa.... so if that's the case why were you so worried about me to the point of getting angry it seems and why does it feel like you know me..?"

"That's..."

With that said she put on a complicated look while scrunching her up while seemingly trying to think about what to say or do next. But she still looked beautiful even like that. He wasn't a man that cared about people's looks or what they are but he had to admit she was definitely a knock out even in this situation. Finally after a couple of minutes of thinking she looked like she finally decided on what she was going to say next and looked down at him once again with a piercingly sharp gaze that demanded absolute silence and obedience from him. Seeing that gaze sent shivers down his spine which caused him to move slightly and ended up hurting himself in the process again.

"Ow"

"Ahh, sorry are you ok?"

When she said that she instantly reverted back to normal and began to check on his body to make sure he was okay and until she knew he was fine she didn't stop. When he saw that he was finally able to relax his guard completely and trust her because there's no way someone with bad intentions or didn't know and care about him would act like that in this situation.

"Good you're okay. Tell me if anything hurts I'll help as best as I can ok?"

"Yea..sorry."

With that she returned to her intense gaze once again and looked at him once again. He knew something big and really serious was probably about to come out of her mouth so his body tensed as he prepared himself for whatever he was about to to hear. Whatever it was that was coming he was 100% ready.

"I'm the lizard."

"....."

When he heard that his whole tension filled body instantly deflated and he blanked out for a couple of seconds. Then he thought he had misheard her so he snapped out of it and looked up at her again.

"Umm..can you repeat that?"

"No problem, I'm the lizard."

"Ahh sorry, one more time?"

"I'm the lizard."

"I see...."

this time around he definitely couldn't of heard wrong or make the excuse of not hearing her correctly and had to end up accepting the fact that she said she was a lizard.

"Wait, what in the world do you even mean by saying that?"

"It's exactly as I say I'm the lizard you had been spending the past two years with."

"So you're telling me the creature that had been with me for the past two years was actually you the entire time?"

"Yes"

Hearing that confirmation caused him to oneself again blank out.
