Sometimes...

The one in the middle sitting at the desk was a slightly older man but he was by no means old or aging in fact you could say he looked way too young for his age. With combed back black hair combined with a goatee you could say he carried a more dignified aura around him even though he was in his couple hundreds at least that's what Xilo had heard around the Clan, Whether or not it held any value or truth he didn't necessarily know.

Then there was the one to the left of the Clan Leader that was presumably one of his assistants or retainers with a complete loose look to him. He was Wearing barely presentable clothes which were either way too big or just not on properly. His hair looked like he had just woken up and he had a beard that wasn't taken proper care of across his face. To say the least he was definitely a messy or unreliable person from looks.

Stepping into the room Xilo and Xelfia slowly made their way towards them. Though Xilo was absolutely racked with tension that threatened to explode and fly through the roof. Thankfully Xelfia was beside him or he was almost positive he might not have been able to do this. At least not as easily or as soon anyway.

"You can sit down if you'd like to and your guest as well."

"No thanks. It's unnecessary."

"Very well then suit yourselves."

But Xilo instantly denied that offer because he didn't want to stay any longer then possible and doing such things would definitely end up with it not going the way he wanted and he really disliked such pleasantries and whatnot especially with the Clan Leader. In the past he'd talk to him a couple of times and well he never found a reason to hate the man completely he never found a reason to like him either so he generally treated him neutrally for the most part whenever it was possible.

"I've got a rough idea about why you showed up today anyways so it's not like this'll be a long chat anyways boy. But I am curious what makes you think it'll go the way you so desire."

Saying that he slightly turned to look at the women standing beside Xilo probably for the first time ever since she walked in and what he saw stunned him slightly though it definitely wasn't her beauty. "How Strong is she exactly?" It was her strength. He could tell she definitely put a decent amount of pressure on him but he couldn't exactly pinpoint how strong she was just yet. That would have to be for later if it happens to go down that road and knowing what that boy was like and what he'd been up to the past couple of years he was almost positive it was going to devolve to that stage unfortunately. Having said that now he was unsure whether he'd be able to stop them now.

Slightly surprised at the Clan Leader telling him his purpose before he even said anything Xilo quickly tried to get back into his own rhythm.

"What makes you think you're right about your assumptions sir?"

"Haha don't play games with me boy, you think I don't know what you've been up to recently? Do you take me for an idiot?"

"Tch, Damnit." Muttering under his breath he knew today might not go the way he hoped.

"Fine you got me. since you already know what I want I'll get this moving forward. I'm leaving."

"See? you're easy to read boy."

"...."

Xilo couldn't be bothered to reply to him.

The whole time this was going on Xelfia didn't speak a word or move an inch herself like she was an immovable statue that could stand against time though the truth of the matter was ever since she stepped foot into the clan with Xilo she had been scared. Besides releasing her pressure to help Xilo she didn't know what else to do in her situation. So many different people, so many different faces and so many different expressions were overwhelming to her. If it wasn't for Xilo being by her side or her needing to be there with him she might have turned around and left already. Alas she couldn't do such things. She had thought maybe she had gotten over her fear of people a little but it's probably more accurate for her to say she had gotten use to Xilo and he ended up being the exception instead of her making improvements.

"So will you let me leave peacefully or what."

"If I said no?"

"I'll force my way out then. The only reason I even bothered to ask is because you people have taken care of me to some extent. Even if it was an awful job at doing so. Which means I have absolutely no qualms with using force if I have to, old man."

Hearing that slightly caused the Clan leader to be stunned but he quickly shook it off and didn't even let it show of his face. He had heard lots of insults in his life of course but to her it from the boy standing in front of him shocked him a lot more than he let on.

"I see..the-"

The second he started speaking Xelfia burst her pressure forward and finally was able to speak for the first time since coming here. She was more wanting to leave due to the Tightness and impatience she felt but the Clan Leader didn't need to know that.

"We're leaving."

Feeling that pressure barrel down on him he ended up choking and paused his sentence. She was strong he knew that but she was a lot stronger then he had thought and at least at the Solar Stage if not higher.

"Stop! I get it, I get it you can leave with my permission. Just settle down alright?"

Well he was slightly bitter about this outcome there was nothing he could do. He finally felt the pressure stop holding him down and could finally free his body but he was bound to be in for a headache in the future now that he'd let them go.

"Should've just said that from the beginning"

With that Xilo and Xelfia finally turned around and started leaving but this time around something else attempted to stop them but they just ignored it.

"W-wait. You can't!"

The assistant finally made his move but it just fell on deaf ears in the end.
