Longing and Struggle

Watching the fights that were happening down in the arena, Tearia tried to take note of any people she might struggle against the most and she found plenty. "So many strong people." But the ones that stood out to her the most were four different individuals. "The first one seems to be an earth user...Haa, probably going to be my weakest match up." The first person who Tearia thought she would struggle against was a man who seemed way too small to the point she almost thought he was a child who's blonde hair covered half his face while the other side was covered in paint made like dragon's scales while he wore a uniform from the clan Reldir. After her first fight she was forced to ask about the clans from her Grandfather who had some information about them. "But the way he uses the earth..." It was like nothing she had seen before.

"The second is that girl who ran into me." Wearing baggy clothes like sweatpants and a long jacket that covered even her hands the girl looked incredibly sloppy while almost seeming like she wasn't awake but every fight she fought she only needed one move to win. Other then that she never moved in fights even so she was a complete mystery and she didn't seem to be from any Clan in Belturn so she couldn't get any extra information. "Next is that man." The next person she had seen was a man that wore a white robe with Satul's symbol on it while he had long white hair wrapped into a ponytail. "If he didn't seem so flashy and...stuck up then maybe he wouldn't be so bad.." At first glance she had to take a double take because she thought she saw Xilo seeing similar hair to his but after she got a good look at him she almost choked making such a mistake.

He was definitely a pretty boy from what she saw but every action she saw from him made him seem so full of himself it sort of reminded her of how she was before making her feel sick. "However I can't deny the skill of his swordsmanship." He was incredibly skilled with the Astral Weapon he had. So much so that it had even impressed her Grandfather slightly and she knew that wasn't easy to do. "Maybe my ring will help me in that fight." That was the only way she could see herself winning if she was forced to fight him but she would just have to find out. "And lastly there's the boy from Feltin." He didn't seem particularly strong from her point of view but the way he used his Astral Rings ability was incredible.

From what she saw he seemed to have an incredibly strong defensive based one that could block most attacks leaving him open to do whatever he wanted while his opponent was left scrambling trying to figure out what to do to win before they eventually got pushed off the stage losing. "Hopefully he lacks some strength or has some kind of opening or I think I'll just suffer the same fate as everyone else." However all these thoughts were just speculations she had and there were still plenty of other strong people here that she had to worry about. "So let's focus on even getting further first before I start worrying about those four and what ifs." After all there was a good chance she could lose before she even got to fight them.

Grabbing a white ribbon from her pocket she silently stared at it as she drowned out the outside world wondering what Xilo could possibly be doing right now. "He doesn't seem to be here..." Though that was something she knew was likely from the start it still disappointed her to find out the truth. "Where could you be XIlo.." Thinking that time passed on while Xilo was dealing with problems of his own. Slowly step by step Xilo could feel his energy draining as he approached the Statue but at least it was finally over for them or so he hoped.

Arriving in front of it he studied it for a couple seconds while it stood there unmoving while Xilo's nerves began to react again. "This damn test." It almost felt like a boss of the whole tests in a way combining aspects of all the tests before into one fight. "Could you even win against this thing if you didn't complete the other tests?" Without his previous experience he was almost positive the both of them would have lost long before the fight got anywhere and that thought scared him a little bit. "I guess that's the point though." Filtering those thoughts out he thought about having his dagger back as he willed it back to him but after a couple seconds he didn't feel anything and opened his eyes again just to look at his hands empty.

"Interesting."

Seeing his hands empty he tried again to see if he messed anything up but still it resulted in the same result. Giving up he tried to think of the reason it wasn't working now as he made his way around to it's back while it was slightly hunched over. "Is it because it's stuck?" Seeing it so deeply embedded into its back that was the only thing he could think of as he reached up to grab and pull it out. Yet even that was a struggle as it refused to budge almost. The only thing he could was slowly wiggle it out bit by bit until eventually he was able to rip it out as even more pieces of the Statue fell to the ground.

"Damn that was tough." It seemed he would have to test out this ability a little more in the future to figure out more about it. "But for now." Xilo returned to the front ignoring it's completely destroyed back as he found the same area on its chest and aimed for it. If it's back was already messed up then stabbing there would hopefully destroy it entirely and ensure that it really was dead.

"Ha."

With a slight grunt he lunged his dagger forward but right before he made impact with it he felt his hand being grabbed by something rough and gritty that stopped him from going any further in his attack. Opening his eyes wide he felt his body become more awake again as he saw the Statues hand grab onto him stopping him. "So it was still alive, that's great." Struggling he knew this was probably his only chance to finish it off as he pushed his blade forward more in an attempt to finish it off but he felt it's other hand also grab onto him completely stopping any attempt he made at trying to stab it. "How does it have this much strength left." Swearing in his head he couldn't escape even if he wanted to.

"Xeflia, help me!"

"Alright."

Seeing Xilo struggling after the Statue grabbed him Xelfia had already rushed forward as fast as she could but she was also weak.

"Try and attack its back, Hopefully that will give me enough time to end this."

Barely getting his words out he felt the Statue's hands gripping harder on his arms as he felt his bones beginning to crack. "At this rate my arms will be crushed." All he could now was hope his idea worked as he tried to struggle to move forward while he sent as much Astral Energy into his arms as he could to keep them from snapping.
