Cry Of Pain

Watching from afar Xilo could only watch as every second passed by in slow motion for him while her blade pierced straight through Xelfia's chest and pinned her to the ground. Unable to do anything regardless of his paralyzed body he watched as her blood started to spread throughout the dirt on the mountain as he felt his mind threatening to break. "....." Ignoring everything that his body and mind warned him not to do he slowly started to struggle to stand despite still being paralyzed but with the unknown help from his Darkness he struggled regardless while he heard Xelfia's slight cry of pain as she coughed up more blood.

One movement at a time he was slowly making progress as hundreds of thoughts began to cloud his mind leaving him lost. "Die....please don't...Just die." Hoping for his worst nightmares to not come true he felt his anger begin to consume him along with his mind continuing to break while his Darkness did everything in its power to stop that from happening until eventually Xilo's mind went completely blank as he finally stood up again. Ignoring the pain and stiff movements of his body, he slowly moved forward, each step he gained more momentum as his body got used to the feeling until he could recklessly charge forward.

"Oh, so you can still move, Interesting."

Watching the boy come towards her she tried to act tough but the mental and physical exhaustion she felt at that moment was almost too much. "Not that he cares about anything I have to say probably." She knew all too well how he was probably feeling right now and if he didn't do anything fast then his lover was going to die right then and there. "Can I even stop him though?" Wondering that she watched as he got in front of her and attacked, lunging straight at her while she defended against it as best she could but that wasn't enough.

*Grrrttt*

feeling herself slide backwards against the ground while her defense broke she felt shocked at the strength he managed to hit her with. "I'm not that tired am I?" Feeling her arms go numb she watched as Xilo looked at Xelfia for a quick second before facing her again. "I know, It hurts..." Remembering back to the day she lost her family she felt her face begin to stiffen while fatigue attacked her. "Don't worry, You'll join her soon enough, I'm sorry...." She might be weak now but she still had the strength to deal with him, With her back to the cliff she waited for him to charge again as a plan formed in her mind. "I think I can manage to use it one more time..." Trying to gauge her abilities, she watched as Xilo flew at her in rage while her heart continued to beat strongly with each of his cries of pain.

Seeing his first attack work Xilo didn't want to stop for a second as he attacked again. "What Do I do?" He had no way to even help Xelfia so unless she could heal herself then that was it, she was dead. All He was doing at this point was throwing a pointless tantrum as he cried out against the world and hated himself even more than before. "Why, why, why, why," Repeating that in his head each of his attacks was filled with anger and sorrow but even then none of them landed past the first one. He just kept barely missing every time regardless of what he did.

"So useless." Swallowing that bitter pill it left a bitter taste in his mouth while he spawned an ice dagger even faster then before and threw it at the woman only for her to catch it and throw it back at him. However he didn't even bother dodging it as he let it dig into his chest and continued on without caring. At the moment pain like that had become numb to him completely. With his back to Xelfia's body he refused to turn around and stop while he attacked moving closer to the cliff's edge. "You can't die, I know that....right?" The time they had spent together had felt so little all of sudden and that thought let his fear grow stronger.

"Why, didn't I help? Aren't we in this together..." Barely thinking that he felt his fist connect for the second time since he attacked. Not letting the opportunity run away from me he sent Ice energy through his body to his hand and sent it straight into the arm she used to block as he attempted to freeze them together but she easily broke it within the next second as she pushed him away a couple feet. Stepping to the side he avoided a lightning bolt as an ice dagger spawned in his hand again while he charged again with Astral Energy crazily pumping throughout his entire body along with Darkness Energy.

"A little more." Feeling the cliff get closer she watched as Xilo came towards her while she backed up more this time instead of dodging or counter attacking this time. Watching from afar Xelfia's breathing was turning more shallow as time went on and more blood covered the ground. "Move...." Yet regardless of what she wanted to do her body refused to listen to her as she felt herself fading. "Am I really going to die here?" Looking at the pain Xilo was experiencing that was the one thing she wanted the least but there was nothing she could do about it to stop it.

Watching him attack her recklessly she was getting closer to the edge while her plan finally could begin. "If I can't kill you, the Astral Beasts will." With that she prepared herself to use her Ability.

"Tired....Dizzy....Weak..."

Barely getting that out she had stopped feeling pain a while ago as she laid there. Her senses could no longer even handle the amount of pain she was in at this point and she knew herself how close to death she was. "Well...it was fun at least..and...." Feeling her thoughts stop there she watched in sadness as Xilo attacked before eventually her world went completely black. This would be the last time she would be awake.

"I love you, Xilo."

Seeing Xilo finally get close enough she sighed in relief as she waited for his attack while activating her ability. Watching time slow down around her she dodged out the way as her job was finally done for the day. Getting behind him she kicked him in the back as time sped up again and watched as Xilo flew forward towards the cliff while she relaxed her guard. Unfortunately though she didn't expect a giant wall of ice to spawn in front of Xilo that completely stopped his momentum. "How did he do that so fast and why is it so strong!?" Shock filled her tired mind as Xilo stepped towards her again after saving himself.

"Fuck, looks like I need to try again." Not giving him enough time to attack she rushed forward with what little energy she had left and grabbed his arm in an attempt to fling him off the edge away from his ice. Moving him she used all the strength she could muster and pushed him as she let go of his arm but unfortunately for her in the last second she felt her arm get latched on to as she felt herself moving forward while ice spread onto her arm again. "Little devil." Cursing she didn't have the energy to stop herself as soon the ground far below came into vision as she began to fall along with Xilo.

Feeling himself begin to fall he tried to grab onto her to stop himself from falling however that didn't end up going to plan as Xilo soon felt himself falling in the air hopelessly. "Looks life I'm this same scenario again, Yet this time I'm alone." Feeling the air under him he watched as the woman above him managed to detach herself from him but Xilo didn't feel anything from that. No Anger or sadness, only nothing as the ground below them came closer.

Soon silence filled the top of the mountain side as two lone figures were only left. One was on her death bed while the other was a lone blue haired girl with tears in her eyes as she slowly moved forward and looked at Xelfia's unmoving body as emotions overcame her.

"What.....Do I....do?"

Talking to no in particular she crouched down beside Xelfia and felt her shallow breaths as she barely stayed alive while a voice entered her head. "First of all calm down, Then let your memory do the work." Not understanding the second part she listened to the first part as she dried her tears while hovering over Xelfia.

"I'm sorry."
