Helping Out

Besides, even if he didn't want to use them as bait, he currently really didn't have too much of a choice on the matter. The second they spoke up all eyes had landed on them unfortunately. "Don't just barge into places like this..." Scolding Tearia in his head he silently moved away from the pillar he was hiding behind and moved towards the center. "Looks like I'll need to help them. A part of him wanted to try and just take the treasure and leave but his mind refused to do that. "I'm an idiot." Watching them all take an aggressive stances once they saw new people show up Xilo made his way towards one of the men where he wouldn't be spotted.

"Well at the very least I won't let them know I'm here....seems like a headache otherwise..." Watching the two notice the change in the air he got himself into position to attack as a couple others moved forward. "Oh?" Watching the other girl take control he was slightly surprised but remembering the strength she could unleash onto him he let it be as she attacked the first without asking any questions. "Smart." Impressed with her brutalness he watched as the rest froze for a split second while one man fell to the ground as all his bones got crushed, no longer able to stand anymore.

"Well that takes care of that. one."

Cracking her knuckles slightly she looked at all the men surrounding her as she counted them up. "seems to be around forty or so of these scumbags." She could already tell instantly from the smell of blood in the air when she was approaching that none of these people in this room were nice and once she saw the bodies in the middle she confirmed it. "These people again." Seeing the same clan people from before she sighed as a bit of her Astral Pressure lurked in the room slowing them down somewhat well Tearia caught up to such a sudden change in the situation. "I'll need to protect her but it'll be difficult." Fighting one on one she was sure she would never lose but fighting against a mob of them was another story especially when her partner needed to be defended at all times. "She just had to be injured..." She knew about Tearia's arm to some extent which is why she kept on her right side this whole time to try and make up for the weakness she had just in case but with this many people she was going to be hard pressed to do anything.

Brushing her hair out of her eyes she saw some of them finally begin to move again after getting over the shock. "I need to try and fight a couple of them and hope for the best." Hearing their angry shouts as the two leaders pointed at them she braced herself as she focused her energy on the people running closest to her. "Stay still for a while." Slowing the pace of the others behind one man she took out a long sword almost the size of her body and thrust it forward into the lone man she left alone stabbing him in the chest and tearing apart his body instantly.

"Trash."

Letting the other ones go free instantly after, she slashed to the side as the blade teared through them leaving Tearia and the others shocked. "That blades almost the size of her body." Gawking at Felli, Tearia stood there in awe at the skill and strength she showed holding such a giant sword. "Didn't expect that." Shaking off the slight awe she felt in that moment she focused on the people surrounding her as Lighting sparked to life in her body ready to release at any moment. "However I'm not useless either." She hadn't fought yet with her messed up arm but she wasn't about to sit around and let someone protect her either if she didn't have to. "It's time for some long overdue practice." The only way to get better was to do something after all.

Sparking up her arm she watched a man rush towards her as she got ready to attack however before he could get to close he froze instantly as a sword poked through his stomach. "....Well then." Feeling slightly disappointed she watched as her lightning flew into a wall and resulted in nothing. "That was weak." Feeling how weak that attack was she felt some sadness in herself but she was still healing after dealing with Xilo. "Maybe I do need to be protected after all." Looking at Felli's back though all she felt was frustration, she knew she was better than that but right now she could only sit back and watch just like her times with Xilo.

"Why again."

Biting her lip hard she didn't know what to do. "I hate this." Cursing under her breath she was forced to watch Felli do all the work for her.

While everyone was distracted with the two girls, Xilo silently stabbeed one of the men in the back of the neck with his dagger amongst the chaos. "One down." Watching their body flop to the floor he moved on to his next target before any of them could notice. "Well this isn't perfect but it works." He was incredibly sloppy doing such things and it showed but if he could lower their numbers this way without getting caught then it was for the best "She seems strong but Tearia is injured thanks to me, so taking on all of them will be a chore even for her." He could focus on the treasure later, for now this was the least he could do even if he had to tell himself it was for the random girl he hadn't met yet and not Tearia.

Killing another one after feeling her control of space slip a little bit she wiped some sweat off her cheeks as she stared at the crowd in front of her. "Still so many." She had already killed about five or six of them but there was still more to go through and the leaders still hadn't stepped forward to stop her. "They're to busy watching each other from stealing whatever's in that chest it seems, Lucky me." If that wasn't the case she might've already been struggling a lot more then she would have liked.

"Might need to go all out..."
