Watch Your Demise

Feeling the Commander's eyes drill into his body Xilo tried to stay calm as he slowly built up energy. "Creepy stare." Trying his best to ignore it he turned to Felli and Tearia. For this he would need both of their help, without them this plan was bound to fail. "This involves some risks though." If he wanted this to work they would have to combine their Astral Energy and well that was more realistic nowadays it still required a lot of compatibility and trust. One wrong move and everything could explode in their faces and destroy their bodies in the worst case scenario.

"Hey Felli, Tearia I'm going to need your help."

"Sure what do you want us to do?"

"I'll do my best."

"I want you to latch onto me and send your energy through my body allowing me to control it. If everything goes well we can make one giant spike that's our energy combined to destroy this thing once it gets free."

Explaining his idea he waited for their replies. He knew this was a risky idea that not many would agree to but in this case he was taken the full burden for the most part. With that being said he would be the one that was taking the most damage if it failed in any way while they would take a minimal backlash. He could have chosen to do it without the need of his body acting as an anchor and just used his Astral Energy on the outside but that left a lot more room for error then he was comfortable with.

"Are you sure about that? This might end poorly for you."

"I know it might."

A small part of him didn't want Felli running havoc in his body but this wasn't the place to be petty. "She's Tearia's friend." Doubts and all that didn't belong here in this moment. What mattered was escaping. Feeling Tearia move away from his body as she asked her question he sighed. It seemed Felli's words had worried her which meant he would need to lie to her as much as he didn't want to. If her emotions got in the way of this it wouldn't do him any good.

"End poorly for you, What's that's supposed to mean?"

"It just means I need to be careful, She's just as worried about me as you are that's all. So can you do what I asked?"

"I think so….I don't think I'm very good at that yet but I can try."

"That's good enough, Thank you."

With that he felt two hands grab his shoulders as he faced the red glowing eyes that looked down at him from above. "Watch as you meet your demise." Feeling Lightning and Space enter his body that felt like a flood he tried to get it under control. Thankfully this also helped reenergize him a bit giving him a chance to get some stamina back as he took a little bit of that energy for himself. The rest he sent to his palm to help grow his Ice spike as it grew in size and began to float. Watching it float above his palm while some Lightning zapped around inside of it he smiled as everything was going smoothly so far.

"Now to make it even bigger."

He needed it bigger and even more condensed which was that hard part. Keeping three different energies under control while manipulating them was a tall order for anyone but their compatibility was surprisingly better than he thought giving him a chance. Feeling the separate floods slow down a bit he focused on combining them even more as they travelled throughout his body before forcing it out of his hand. Thanks to Felli's space he was able to use it to slightly force his ice and lightning together as the spike grew even bigger.

"We can do this."

Watching the Commander begin to struggle a little bit within it's barrier, Xilo knew it sensed some danger from his attack and that was good. "Almost there." With the spike almost over two meters big now Xilo felt his body constantly sweating as he tried to hold it together while constantly energizing himself still. Ignoring the pain that was starting to build up he winced as he pushed it even more. This was his all or nothing. He couldn't stop now just because of a little bit of pain. However what he didn't know was that he was practically sending out one huge beacon to one woman in particular as she roamed the halls.

"Oh?"

Sensing a large influx of energy Althea scanned it for a couple seconds before she felt her blood go into a frenzy with excitement.

"There it is, there it is!"

Without another word she bolted forward now that she had located the one thing she was looking for.

"Xilo!"

While that happened Zilan also just finished fighting off the horde of skeletons as his little group charged towards the portal and successfully made it through.

"That worked…?"

Feeling the Ice grow to big for him to control it any further Xilo watched as the Commander finally broke free with all it's struggling. "It's time!" Taking the three meter tall Spike that floated above them Xilo used everything he had as he chucked his body forward in the process while the Space around the Ice Spike flung it forward towards its target. Stumbling he felt Tearia catch his body as he looked up to watch the impact. If this failed everything was over, he had to see what would happen.

Unfortunately that wish was bound to not come true as he felt a darkness overcome the room while his vision faded to black. "What's happening.?" Unable to see anything he felt a voice scream in his head and in his ears from everywhere as it announced his name.

"I finally, finally, finally.....found you...Xilo."

With that he felt his mind go blank.
