Fighting The Crystal?

Even if she knew Ravenous was a large part of why she was doing so well she was alright with that. It felt good to swing it around and the damage it dealt was more than satisfactory. The only problem she was finding with it was it's consumption of Astral Energy. She could somewhat control it but it was a glutton for anything it could get and took way more energy than needed. She already felt she was at three quarters of her usual stamina even though she hadn't fought much yet.

"So use it quickly and efficiently while practicing control."

Instead of being discouraged by that thought though she embraced it as a way of training and getting stronger. Grabbing at the knights back she tore a hole into it as she latched onto it and stopped it from escaping any further. She said she would get the first attack and while she would have liked to do all of it herself she knew Xilo was probably wanting to get a go out at it as well. "Go crazy." Keeping it still she turned to Xilo behind her to see him smiling as she waved him over.

"Oi, You want to try, right? Then get over here before I tear it in half."

"Ehh, I figured I'd let you get this one."

"Don't be silly, we're a team so come give it the final blow."

It didn't take Xilo much convincing hearing her insist on him doing something as he walked forward. Gripping the red hilt he didn't bother with the normal part of the sword as he pumped ice into it, filling the gap it had. Feeling it grow a bit heavier as it doubled in size Xilo wasn't looking for anything less than one attack like Tearia wanted. "Let's see what you're really made of. You and this sword both." Watching it struggle to escape from Tearia as he got closer he held his sword in both hands as he raised it over head.

"This is the end!"

*Arh*

Watching Tearia get out of the way he slammed down his sword with every cell in his body he could use. With such weight behind it he felt his sword smack into something solid briefly before it instantly pushed forward with some resistance as he flattened the Knight from head to toe within seconds. With a beast like Gnarl he touched the ground as the Knight was completely smashed into the floor with no chance of ever moving again.

"Haaa..."

"Not quite what I expected there but, good job."

"I wanted to see what it could do."

"How's your stamina?"

If she was drained with just a little bit of attacking then Xilo should be in worse condition from such a large attack. "Was that my fault? Wondering that to herself she watched him wipe some sweat off his forehead as her answer. Even if he said otherwise now she knew he would just be lying to cover it up. Thankfully there was nothing else to fight just yet so she let him off easy as she heard his blatant lie.

"I should be fine. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be at least."

"Good, now what about this giant crystal?"

"About that...I was wondering if maybe you could take it while I looked around the room some more."

"That might be difficult or even impossible even with my necklace but I can give it a try at least. If not we might just have to try and take chunks from it and be happy with that."

"Whatever way works best."

With that he spun around and left Tearia to her thoughts as he explored the statues in the room and looked for other things. "Xilo this thing is massive, it's not so simple." Complaining in her head she looked up at the blinding glow as she tried to figure out how to store this thing. To put it in her necklace she had to surround it in her energy and some objects like this with massive traces of Astral Energy might fight back. Her necklace wasn't some one and done easy thing to use especially when it came to objects this size.

"And then I even need to consider the space it will take up. With this damn thing in here it'll take up more then half the space."

Still though Xilo wanted it so she had to at the very least try. If it still failed with her trying her best then there was nothing she could about it but giving up before that wasn't an option. "The things I do for you. Maybe you should give me a kiss as a thanks or something." Grumbling she put her hand on the Crystal as she felt a heat run through her body while her hand began to burn. By instinct she pulled her hand back in panic as she let the heat die down. Giving it a second she prepared herself as she coated her hand with Astral Energy.

"Should've expected that."

Placing her hand on the crystal again this time more prepared she dealt with the heat a lot better this time. Spreading her energy she tried to cover it as she felt it began to radiate more heat. "Here it comes." This was bound to be a lot more difficult than defeating that Knight. Feeling their energy collide she felt it burning hers as it pushed back against hers while she tried to push back against it herself.

"This is going to be tough."

Creating more lightning she attempted to make a static field that she could use to cut off its energy but each spark that surfaced caused an ember to attack it instantly. With some time she managed to put up a little fight as she used more power until eventually a small static field formed while some of the heat dissipated.

"I should have this...I hope."

Concentrating she didn't want to fail at this.
