Asking that to herself she felt a presence behind her as she spun around to block it. Unfortunately that wasn't the right choice in the situation and the only answer she ended up receiving was a spear that dug into her hip before she felt herself slamming into a wall a little ways away. Feeling a shock run through her body she couldn't breathe or move her body for a couple seconds afterwards. "Breathe." Trying to calm her body down she felt a large cult run across her side as a wet feeling ran down her leg.
Her head was spinning but she knew she had failed in her attempt.
"I worked up enough courage just to get slapped around like nothing. My body isn't something I can just sacrifice eh? I wonder if that's what I've really been doing."
Laying on the ground she didn't feel like she could sit up right now let alone stand up so she chose to just stay there and recover. Staring right at her right arm and all the bruises and the cuts that covered it she felt some phantom pain from before as she thought about it, her time in this fight was most likely over now. Watching Tearia fly across the room Xilo wasn't given enough time to make sure she was okay as he felt a presence appear in front of him.
"No time for distractions!"
"Shut it."
Raising his arm up he watched as the white spear came towards him as it set itself on fire. Reinforcing his dagger he made sure he was ready for it the little time he had. "What the hell do we do now." The King seemed a bit slower after taking that attack from Tearia however it was still a struggle. He lost the extra elements from the looks of it with that set of armour and in return gained a lot more strength. Defending against the King's Spear he felt himself get pushed back slightly as he stabbed forward with his free hand. Right now he would take any chance he could get and hope the others took advantage of that.
"You most of all, seem to have the most problems."
Watching the silver haired boy tree and attack him with his free hand he simply reached out and grabbed his arm as he began to crush it. "It seems more things happened while I was gone then I care to admit." Analyzing his body he saw some things that made him sick before he gave up. "He's stable though, for now." Feeling his headache growing stronger his hand's grip loosened up as Xilo slipped through it slashing at him. Not worried about it he let it bounce off of his armour as a small scratch was made.
"This is what I mean boy."
"I don't want to hear a lecture from a madman."
"Madman?"
Stopping for a second he felt his mind split apart as he tried to think about why this was happening in the first place. The harder he thought about it though the more his thoughts fell into a disarray as a seeping darkness blocked his thoughts. Left with that opening Xilo pulled his hand back as Zilan came in from the side and slashed at the King aiming right for his eyes. His armour only had a few weak spots in it and given the opportunity he would take full advantage of that. If they wanted to win that was where they had to attack, it was just hard getting there.
"Die."
With Xilo ducking under him he swiped his blade across the King's face barely missing as he stumbled backwards dodging his attack. Stabilizing himself the King pushed harder with his Gravity fighting Felli's as he avoided going blind before fighting back himself. "Whatever." No longer caring about his thoughts he let that corruption roam free as more anger edged it's way into his attacks. Taking his spear he broke Xilo's blade that was still blocking it as he aimed to pierce the two of them. Pulling back slightly he thrusted forward aiming for both of their stomachs as a light started to build up in his horns.
""Move.""
Without anything else needing to be said the both of them dodged to the left and right jumping out of the way. If they got pierced by that not even Marie would be able to heal that in time. "He's charging something up again." Noticing the glow that shined on his helmet Xilo was worried about what was coming next as another wind arrow flew past his face and dug straight into the King's chest. It was the first attack since he had worn that armour that managed to get past it. Surprised with Marie's strength he still slightly wondered how she managed to do it before a giant flash of light blinded them all.
"What now."
"I don't know but keep up your guard. He was charging something up so anything could happen."
Warning them the best he could, Xilo was lost on what exactly the Light Element did. He knew it was a rare one similar to his own darkness but that was it. With no other information to go off of he was clueless. "That's easy to answer boy. It's the exact opposite of yours after all." Hearing that voice in his head he stopped and listened to it more closely.
"What exactly do you mean by that?"
"That Involves actually understanding your own element first which you've failed to do for the most part."
"Failed to understand my own element? Fine, If you're so smart tell me then."
He didn't have time for long drawn out conversations right now and arguing, he needed information now to help and if that voice could help then he would take it.
"...Fine."
Slowly she made up her mind on how she wanted to approach this. After speaking up about it she couldn't just back track now, especially at this point. "I'm sorry Althea but he might end up to much for you." She wasn't to sad about that though, in fact she was more happy about it. Althea and her were no longer the same woman they once were.
