Nightmare begins

Stumbling around in her head for a second as she tried to figure out how to say it. She knew it'd be hard to get someone to believe that your dreams were being invaded by a person every night. "They're just nightmares." That's all they would say hearing her story and then they would dismiss it. That didn't get her anywhere but further into chaos however she didn't know how to get help either. One of these days she would break if this kept up, it wasn't a matter of if, it was a matter of when and she was scared.

"Hey...Arzan, if you were harassed by nightmares every time you fell asleep what would you do?"

"A bit of a strange question but I don't know if I can really answer you honestly, it's never happened to me before."

"Oh.."

Looking at his sister's downcast face Arzan sighed as he tried to think of an answer. Rarely was Felli ever so upfront with him so when she was he tried to be as accommodating as possible. She had helped him plenty of times so he wanted to do the same for her. "If I was attacked by nightmares every night." Repeating the question over inside his head he thought about things he would normally do whenever he saw them or how his mother when he was very young and alive would help him. With her current state as well, he had a very good guess that this was making her as tired as she was.

"Well, I guess it really depends on what you are experiencing in those nightmares. When I was younger I had quite a few and whenever I did my mother would tell me to first realize that it was just my imagination and nothing would happen. If that didn't work she would tell me to fight back funnily enough and if both of those things failed....Find the cause of them and see if you can change something when you're awake. That's all I got for you, though I don't know if it really helps at all."

"No, no, thanks for seriously answering my question. I appreciate it, however I should probably be leaving now and let you rest. You've still got a ways to go and all I've done is make you push yourself for me."

"Don't worry about that, you are right that I need to rest though. I took some medicine earlier and it makes me sleepy now. I'll talk to you another time?"

Yawning Arzan felt sleep calling for him as Felli's voice faded.

"Of course, have a good rest, bye."

"...Bye..."

With the soft rhythm of Arzan's breathing being the only thing left, Felli let go of his hand as she got up from her chair and put it back in it's rightful place. Walking down the hall she felt exhaustion call to her along with her bed. Arzan was right, she was too tired for her own good. "I'm...scared." It had been a long time since her emotions had run wild like this. The last time was probably when she left Xilo and before that was when her mother was still kind. "Turn them off." For weeks on end she had been trying to kill off her emotions again but it never worked. Entering her room after some walking she laid down on her bed as she picked up the book she had read through hundreds of times by now.

"If I don't sleep I'll never get proper practice.....but Althea awaits me if I do."

Staring up at the ceiling she was stuck in a hard place. Both of her options sucked and there was nothing she could do alone. "I wish...Xilo, Tearia..." Calling out for them, Felli wished her Grandfather was still here. If he was here then there would be nothing she would ever have to worry about anymore. He could take care of it all for her, while she lived peacefully. "Relying on the past..." Scolding herself she felt her eyelids grow heavy as she tried to keep herself awake. Nothing worked though as she felt her body drift off into dreams or in this case, nightmares.

"Welcome back Felli, It's been quite a while. I thought you were running away from me! My poor broken heart, it was torn into two thinking about it. You're here now though at least, I knew you wouldn't run from me."

Smiling from ear to ear Althea stared right at Felli as she said those things. Watching the little girl that had finally appeared again she couldn't be more happier. Being in dreams was quite lonely even for her so some company every now and then was nice. "Hmmm...she looks awful." Her tone sounded sad but her smile grew even bigger as she saw the mess that was Felli currently. She didn't get a response from her though when she brought it up. Felli stayed perfectly still while staying silent the whole time. Feeling slightly frustrated with that, Althea moved closer.

"Are you ignoring poor little old me? That hurts you know? I'm just trying to help you and grant you your desires. Do you want Xilo, maybe even Tearia or are you after power?"

"...."

Doing her best to ignore Althea, Felli tried to drown the world out. Maybe Arzan's advice was something she had tried before but never tried hard enough. She always broke in the past whenever Althea showed up and pissed her off. Now though she was seriously too tired to even be pissed off. "I hope I am at least." She had also gotten to know Althea a lot better with all these little visits from her. Slowly she was figuring out what makes her tick. The only way for her to ever win was to set her off instead. Most of all though she was scared.

The sheer presence of the woman in front of her immediately silenced her as she struggled to stay calm.

"Help."

Whimpering that in her head silently she stared at the devilish beauty in front of her as her nightmare began
