Looking at the girl in front of him who claimed to know about Zelfin, Keltal tried to be as calm as possible as he spoke.
"You can call me Keltal, I'm the leader of this little Clan."
"I'm Rose, nice to meet you."
"Let's just get straight to the point then, what did you want to say about Zelfin. He's been missing for a long time now and I'm quite worried about him."
Tapping her chin, she looked at the leader as she heard the sincerity in his voice. "Seems he actually cares about the man." It was a tad bit surprising to see actual worry in someone anymore nowadays, so it was a nice breath of fresh air. Sadly, she was only going to disappoint him today. She only wanted to learn more about him, not give Zelfin back to this Clan. "I don't even have the power to do that right now." With the way her mother was treating Zelfin it was an impossible task. Things could change though if she found out new information.
"If I'm being honest it's kind of hard to say Keltal. I don't really know how to explain it. It's out of my hands, I've come here today to find out more about him more than anything."
Without really being able to see her face, Keltal was left to guess her emotions as they talked. "So then what's she after?" If she couldn't explain it properly then there had to be another reason why she came here. It had almost been a year since the boy had disappeared and his worry had grown more every night. At this point he would just be happy to know he was okay. His Clan was his family and that was true for everyone. "he's a good kid...just.." Sighing, Keltal felt his body deflate all its energy.
"Alright, . What is it you want to know about Zelfin or maybe the better question is why do you want to know about him then? Ack.."
Coughing, Keltal quickly covered his mouth as pain racked his body.
"Feeling sick?"
"No, I'm fine, go on."
"Very well, That's still a complicated question to answer though...."
Taking a second to think about what she wanted to say next, Felli decided to just be direct and honest. Lying wouldn't get her anywhere and would just make this harder on her. She couldn't tell the full truth but some of it was fine right now. If not Althea would come back haunting her and she would be forced into misery once more. She was slightly worried about her mother's wraith but her plans were something she never cared too much for or knew a lot about. Even if Zelfin was involved now that didn't change anything. "Especially since Xilo's involved with him..." If that ended up affecting Tearia, Felli would be really heartbroken. She couldn't do that to her, that would be disrespecting the one person she looked up to all of her young life, her Grandfather
"I assume you have time, so stay and talk with me. With my family running around helping people at the moment I'm left all alone. Having a conversation partner isn't a bad thing."
"I guess I can talk a little bit..."
Saying that, Felli started to talk a little about her problems with Keltal as she felt a big weight get lifted from her shoulder. Ever since it had started to happen she never told anyone, not even her mother. She was all alone to deal with that pain and struggle. Sitting here and talking with Keltal felt a little similar to the days she spent with her Grandfather. He might have been a complete stranger to her but that's what made it so much easier. Silently listening to Rose speak, keltal listened with some slight interest. "Someone haunting her dreams eh?" He obviously didn't get a name from Rose but that sounded familiar to a problem he had in the past and the woman behind it. "Althea." Even after all this time she kept coming back up into his life. He was never able to escape that guilt.
After an hour of talking or so Felli exhaled as she finished talking.
"Haha, I bet that felt good to let that all out."
Looking at the girl before him who was almost crying, Keltal couldn't help laughing as his mood completely changed. For someone who acted quite strong she was way weaker then she let on. He had caught on to that quite fast along with another couple things. "Familiar Aura's traces." He could feel two very faint traces of energy that he might've missed if he wasn't around her as long as he had been. "She really is in quite a complicated situation." After he stopped laughing he heard her trying to stop her tears as she settled down. It had been a couple weeks since he was able to laugh that hard and he could feel the pain forcing him to stop.
"It's getting worse...."
With time the pain in his body kept spreading as he was sucked of energy and life.
"Alright, Now that I have a bit more understanding of your situation and you're being honest. Let me ask you once more before we continue. Do you know where Zelfin is?"
"Yes...he's alive, however he's currently walking down a bad path. I can't stop him."
"Do you really believe the person in your dreams feeding you lies can help that and for what reason?"
"I don't know, but it's worth a shot. If I don't stop him, lot's of bad things will happen. He'll even kill my two best friends..."
"Haaa...Well, I sadly can't help you with Zelfin too much. However you're free to explore his room here and see if you can find anything. Sorry I can't be of more help. Thank you for letting me know he's alive though. I really appreciate that."
Standing up he gave her his hand to help her stand up. Since their little talk was over he figured he would guide her to Zelfin's room. He would have left but it had been a while since he found someone fun to talk to. Ever since he had gotten sick, his family had been running around trying to find a cure for them and avoid getting sick themselves. "It won't work though." He had heard rumours of similar sickness spreading to other towns at an insane rate. "Althea...are you the one doing it or is it someone else?" He couldn't completely cross Althea out of the equation just yet. There is a very good chance she was behind it and with Rose talking about her dreams being attacked it led him to believe it even more.
Following keltal, Felli came across a small little room that had been closed for a while now. Opening the door she was guided in as she looked around. "Surprisingly normal." She had expected his room to be a lot different but she was proven wrong. Taking a look around the room she chatted with Keltal about random things before she eventually came across a book on one of the shelves. Pausing, she looked at the title of it before bringing it out. "A journal?" Reading the title she flipped it open as she called keltal over to take a look as well.
"I think I found something, I don't know how much use it will be though."
"Really? Let's take a look."
