It Begins

Entering the waves of people Xilo's little group did their best to meet up with Telan on time. They should have already arrived if it wasn't for the ocean of people going in the same direction. "This really is a big event." People who could float in the air while the rest of the people were forced to walk on their own two legs. Any Carts or the likes were banned by the Cities guards to keep the flow going as fast as possible. Feeling closed in, Xilo checked on the girls as they spent the next ten minutes making their way to Telan.

"At least Telan will be able to get us there quickly."

Seeing the same bar they met Telan at before and standing outside of it waiting for them Xilo rushed everyone as fast as he could. Waving his hand, Xilo apologized for being late as Telan guided them inside to the empty bar. Very few places were open today so compared to their last visit here it was a different experience. Twirling a small crystal around in his hands Telan looked over his shoulders at the group behind him. "Should all of them come...?" He thought about it for a second before deciding. Stopping at a place where there were no chairs or tables in the way Telan held the crystal tight.

"Alright we'll be teleporting to the ceremony. Everyone can come with us but we'll have to split up after that. Only Tearia and Xilo will be allowed to follow me. Relia, Tearia and your little fox will have to join the audience though you should get a better seat than most at least. Rules are rules so I hope that's not too much trouble to ask."

Turning to the girls in question XIlo loked to see if they approved before Xilo agreed.

"Yeah that's fine, I'm just thankful for you teleporting us there. The amount of people outside right now is dreadful. I couldn't imagine going the whole way through that kind of crowd."

"I told you this was a huge event and it hasn't even started yet. be prepared for a crazy couple of days. With your little ceremony riding on the tail of Ukels birth it might be a lot to take in. Just remember our little chat and don't panic. I'm sure you can handle this, make yourself known"

"I don't know about that but I'll try my best."

Dropping the Crystal to the ground Telan nodded in approval as a giant purple vortex appeared in the bar. Watching it swirl Xilo was reminded of the one they found in the Astral Zone that he had used as Telan took a step into it and dissapeared. Watching Tearia go next, Xilo waited to go last. Next was Relia who seemed to be doing better along with Kirel who was in her arms and finally Xelfia. Watching her red hair disappear before his eyes, Xilo took a pause. "Space and time..." Getting rid of that uneasy feeling in his chest he stepped towards the portal. "I wonder what awaits me on the other side." There were a lot of possibilities, good and bad but Xilo still took that step forward.

It was his only choice.

In that lonely bar a vortex of space silently disappeared as Xilo appeared on the other side of the unknown. Looking around at the fancy stone walls and decorations before him, Xilo spotted everyone. Grouping up with them, Xilo was pretty amazed by the place they were in. "Seems like even the others are here to." He could see multiple small groups of people coming through Space portals and lining up at the entrance. It was a gigantic door made of wood that was as big as a house that paired well with this massive room. "It looks like this is a place for guests to gather." Not really knowing what to do, he waited for Telan's instructions but he just stayed silent as he waited.

"Are any of you feeling any sickness? I know Space can be rough the first time around."

The girls shook their heads, the doors creaked upon revealing a bunch of maids and an open sky. Guided outside, Telan pointed in the direction Xelfia, Relia and Kirel would be going to find their seats. The path outside split up into three different ways, they would be going to the right with a few other guests and their guides while Telan would be bringing them straight. "Right into the castle eh." He could see the stage far off to the right already being set up before everyone arrived. "Huge." He couldn't even see the end of it from here, it was almost scarily big.

"Alright you two follow me and be quiet. If you make any mistakes here I doubt even I can stop it. There's too many big shots and the name Dracal can only get me so far and if it's against other branch leaders well. It'll get me nowhere."

Grabbing Tearia's hand, Xilo counted over one hundred people currently there for the event and more would be coming. The excitement and tension in the air was almost visible as they walked into the castle. Going down the halls Xilo really hoped everything would go okay as that pit in his stomach grew larger. He couldn't tell if it was because of his nerves or something else anymore though. Tightening his grip on Tearia he took a deepth breath as they made it to the throne room with nothing happening. They would be having a pre meeting with the Queen to talk about some things before they put on a big display for the public, Xilo knew that but he didn't like it.

Opening up the doors everyone went in as they saw one lone woman sitting on her throne with her palm under her chin staring up at the sky. Even with all their footsteps her concentration didn't break as they all stood there. No one made a noise or tried to get her attention. Before them was one of the most powerful people in the country. Doing anything to piss her off was just a death sentence. "That pressure..." The Queen might have been acting dumb but she had already evaluated everyone here. "Scary." Xilo could feel the weight on his shoulders grow heavier just by standing near her and she wasn't even using any Astral Energy.

"Welcome everyone, I'm glad you've come today."

Smiling, the Queen turned to the crowd before her as she introduced herself to everyone, in nearly an instant everyone bowed their heads as they gave her a proper introduction.
