Travelling down the hallways it was quite empty at first from what Xilo could see. As he got closer though more people started coming into vision. "They look frantic." Some people he recognized and others were brand new faces rushing around everywhere. "It seems like Katrin isn't as ready as Aeon made it sound." A pair of giant doors leading to the throne room were within reach as Xilo sped up his pace. Pushing them open, he didn't bother knocking as he saw a crowd of people already inside. "Whoa." Not expecting so many people he sneaked his way around to Aeon who was beside Katrin at the throne. "That hole is still there." Feeling the morning sun shine down on him, Xilo tried his best to ignore the thought of Relia.
"Good you made it here in time, we're expecting them at any moment now."
"Glad I did, I was a bit worried I would be late. So who are all these people?"
"Members of the royal family, advisors, Clan leaders from this city and the people who're against Katrin. For the most part all the Royal Family members aren't on Katrin's side. To them she's a bastard child that just got lucky. If it weren't for Katrin's strength and Grandfather's she would have long been kicked out. With that not there anymore...well it'll be rough. Some of this City's Clan leaders have already joined them. This city has five with one being Katrin. Two have joined the Royal Family, one is neutral and one is on our side. Remember their faces well, you will be dealing with them in the future."
"Alright."
Xilo didn't know why but he didn't ask, he just looked where Aeon pointed and remembered the person he saw. "Three men and two women." Once that was done Xilo listened to Aeon talk about the people in power for the Royal family. In total there were Eight of them with 4 of them against Katrin. The rest were on her side or neutral. Other than those people the rest were from smaller positions like treasurer, leader of the guards and so on. "They're all so quiet." Not many of them spoke besides low whispers here and there that Xilo couldn't make out. "Seems like everyone's on edge." Straightening his back, Xilo could feel himself getting more nervous as well.
"Here they come."
In a low voice Katrin announced that to everyone as she felt the presence of Six different people. One for each representative she killed from each country minus the one from Cestrin. "Just like I thought." She sensed no Beast people in the six she felt. "Wait.." As they got closer to Katrin noticed a couple more people surrounded one person who seemed to be extremely angry. "Tidal's person...?" She expected them to be upset but not this much raw anger. "I wonder who they are." The whispers stopped as Katrin stood up from her chair and awaited her guests. The doors swung open with a loud crashing noise as everyone entered. They were small in numbers but the strength they held wasn't to be doubted.
"Welcome everyone, it's so good to see you all. It's nice that you all showed up at once. Makes things a bit easier on me honestly."
With a smile Katrin tried her best to keep up appearances. "I'm weak now." Ignoring that thought she studied each person who stood in front of her. "In total there's ten with that small group." For the most part the six seemed relatively calm especially when she compared them to the ball of anger. "A woman?" Tilting her head she took a closer look at the woman hiding behind her guards as she finally realised why she seemed so angry. "Does the Queen herself really have time to be coming all the way out here?" Standing in front of her was the Queen of Tidal. her face was a bit shrouded by her guards and an elegant white mask but Katrin could tell. "She's hiding her appearance not her Aura." Which meant She wanted Katrin to know.
Moving past that she looked at all the others that were equal in strength to her or stronger. "I guess their Countries didn't want more deaths." Hiding a smile, Katrin stepped down to equal level with them. These would be the people she deals with first. "These will be easy." Hearing one speak up Katrin started her little act. Watching from the side, Xilo could feel the air in the room turning incredibly stiff. "One wrong move and everyone here is dead." Xilo could feel the burning anger one of them had as well. "Show me what you're truly made of, Katrin." Crossing his arms he stood beside Aeon as he felt his body relaxing, that stress he had was slowly turning to confidence.
Stepping up the strongest man from Rawl that was near Tidal's Country.
"Katrin, You know why we are all here today. Two days after this Country's event you went on a rampage. Killing quite a few people including our own. Care to explain yourself, Queen of Ukel?"
Hearing such stiff and formal speaking coming from the bigger man Katrin answered in the same tone.
"Nope, I did what I did. You're all just crawling here hoping to get something out of some stupid person's death that you have zero care for."
"Do you think you have the right to talk like that in this situation?"
Anger bulged on his bald forehead as the man felt insulted.
"Hey, hey what's your name?"
"Ralix is my name and we're here for answers. This isn't a game, Queen of Ukel. If you keep this up we can always push this event further. Rawl is far from afraid of fighting such a weak country especially Ukel's weakest Queen."
"Let me ask this then Ralix, what was the name of the person I killed from Rawl?"
Pausing in his tracks Ralix felt his mind stop for a moment. He tried searching through his memories for what information was given. "What was the name though?" When he tried to think of the person's name though nothing came to mind. Feeling slightly nervous Rawl heard a few quiet snickers from the crowd around him. His anger was increasing as he tried to speak. "Surely they told me his name.." Giving up Rawl decided to take a wild guess in the dark. Shouting out a random name he came up with on the spot, he badly wished to see the Queen backtrack. Sadly, that wasn't going to happen.
"Ren was his name!"
"Oops, looks like you're wrong! His name was Deon. I guess that answers how much Rawl cares for them. Of course I'll still give you a bit of compensation but if you think you can push this any further over a dead person no one remembers then I'll gladly fight. That goes for the rest of you as well. Don't barge into my castle acting like you're in charge. You're just as important as the people I killed, just a bit tougher. I can add you all to the body count if need be or you can accept my gift with a smile and walk away. What will it be?"
Holding his tongue, Ralix was about to say something before he was interrupted by a quiet woman's voice.
"Hello katrin, it's been a while since we last met."
Hearing the other Queen's voice speak up Katrin was ready for the real challenge.
"Hello...Queen of Tidal, Lexia. It has been a while for sure."
Tightening her fists Lexia couldn't control her anger as she heard Katrin's taunting tone.
"You destroyed my City...caused hundreds of death's and destroyed an entire Astral Zone...I will kill you."
Hearing the name of Tidal's Queen come up everyone turned to stare at the woman who walked forward, she completely took all their attention.
