Digging around in her room Felli tried to find the object she was looking for. It was an old necklace that was left behind by her Grandfather that she never wore. She always felt guilty whenever she saw it and that kept her from putting it on. She felt like it was a constant reminder of her failure, that she wasn't as good as him. After seeing Tearia wearing a similar necklace to hers though it sparked a want to see it again. "Where did I put it?" Reaching around in her closet she checked there and found nothing. Going to her desk drawers she pulled each one out and found nothing. "I didn't lose it right?" Still not finding it Felli was getting a little worried, it had been years since she last saw it.
"What exactly are you looking for, Felli?"
Watching Felli frantically run around the room, Tearia couldn't stop herself from wanting to move as well.
"An old necklace that I lost. It should be in this room somewhere."
"Want me to help you look for it as well?"
"If you don't mind, sure."
"Okay."
With the two girls on the lookout for it, they spent the next couple minutes digging around the room. Tearia found some things she never would have thought would have been in Felli's room but no necklace. Holding a book with an older woman showing off a lot of skin on it Tearia quickly put it away. "I didn't see that." Pretending like she didn't see that, Tearia moved on to another place. Felli was on the brink of giving up when she started to search under her bed. Grabbing around she tried to see if anything was hiding under her bed. After some moving around she felt something cold touch her hands. Latching onto it she heard a small little chain as she pulled it back.
"Found it!"
Staring at it in the light Felli couldn't hide her excitement. Walking on over, Tearia peeked over Felli's shoulder to see what it was. "Kind of similar to mine." Placing a hand on her chest, she grabbed the small gem in the centre. They both had a purple gem glowing in the middle of them. The design of the chain was also similar as well with mini lightning bolts on them and small tear drops. Felli's were a different colour though and had an extra design on it. "Stars." Little stars were etched into hers. Rubbing the gem Felli took a deep breath as she held it, the guilt was still there. She could feel it creeping up however it had lessened.
"Back in the day, my Grandfather and yours created these for us. I just kind of never wore it, I always felt like it was mocking me in ways. After seeing you wear yours though I wanted to give it a try. Besides, it's really cute and matches with you as well.
Standing up Felli handed the necklace over to Tearia and grabbed her hair.
"Can you...?"
Taking the necklace Tearia watched Felli turn around and present her neck. Lifting it up Tearia wrapped it around her neck and linked it into place. "Mocking her eh." Making sure it was on correctly Tearia moved Felli's hand away and fixed her hair. From the stories Felli had told her Tearia knew what she meant. Once Tearia was done Felli sat down on her bed and looked at the jewellery around her neck. "Pretty." Taking a seat down beside her the two sat in silence for a couple of minutes. Felli brought out the book her Grandfather left behind and read a few pages that were left behind.
"It's getting late Felli, we should probably go to sleep soon."
"Yeah...it is. Did you want to sleep with me here tonight?"
hesitating for a moment hearing that question Tearia quickly agreed.
"Sure."
Xilo was probably fine and it was nice to talk with Felli like this, just spending time with her. Besides Relia, Felli was the second friend she had made and the third was Xelfia. Felli was a special case though since their Grandfather's used to be friends. After hearing about Felli's stories as well Tearia wanted to help Felli as well. If she got lucky or if it was meant to be maybe she could do something similar to the past and help Felli gain control. Seeing her friend have zero self respect or confidence was saddening. Lying down next to her, Tearia kept on thinking of ways she could help as two small lights glowed in the dark around their necks as they slept.
After waking up Xilo headed out to do some more practising and brought Vandor along with him. Since he seemed mostly alright Xilo figured it wouldn't hurt to give him a distraction. Other than that Xilo was on full alert. Keld had already left with a small group to hang by the entrances of the City. If his group saw any sign of Delfex entering they were to immediately alert him. Katrin also had some of her men around to help as well. Aeon had come back with most of what Xilo asked for completed. There was just one thing missing and then it would be completed. Apparently that would take a couple more hours to arrive. "The guy was being stubborn with Aeon." Besides that one annoyance, Xilo was ready to move at practically any moment.
After a few hours of training Xilo heard Aeon coming to get him.
"Alright, looks like we're done for now, Vandor. Thanks for helping me out."
"No problem, good luck with your plan."
Waving goodbye, Xilo walked towards Aeon as they headed for his office. With how short they were on time Xilo had to be quick if he wanted to make sure his plan worked. "Creating them may take a few hours." It was a simple idea but difficult to pull off correctly. He had Aeon to collect materials for him so he could create a few explosives that he would lure Delfex into. Xilo would be creating them himself though with the help of Aeon. With the giant fire crystal he had given Tearia he also planned to use that as the ammo.
"It should be strong enough to hurt even Hunter."
