Chapter 5: Powerful Mages

Mages, even when young have higher intelligence making them have very Interesting ways in winning against enemies. There are Mages that use the dead as an army over power with Many to win, Mages that Rain Flames down preventing enemies even the chance to fight back, and many more ways.

There are Mages with more then just the Four main Elements, they can use Lightning, this is Fast and by the time you know your being targeted by an Lightning attack it would have already arrived and killed you unless you have a Ward to defend yourself against such attack okay death awaits of luck is in your side.

Lightning is Fast so you cant see it until it already happened, same with Wind Mages. Even after the attack you will still not know about it but it does not leave a Bright flash of light like Wind if the target is one, Following where the lightning regenarated from you can find the attacker. Wind is everywhere, You can see when it happens even after it had, But dont think you will not have a chance to fight back Mages are very Intelligent, because of that Mages over the years have already created Countermeasures against such attacks, one such Opinion is to feel your surroundings, by sending Mana around you and it does not need a Lot of Mana control you will feel and know everything happening aroundbyou even with your Eyes closed. Even a Slight change in the surroundings you will know your being targeted by a Mage. But that is not all, Mages that can Learn how to even detect Assassins in the shadows aiming to kill a Mage, as there are Parties that team up with Assassins as Scouts, and even a Elf Scout can fire an arrow at a Mage killing them from far without being detected.

Yes, Mages are powerful, but that does not mean others are weak, you can all fall pray to anyone even the weakest Person can kill you a Mage, the world outside the Academy is dangerous, Beasts that will destroy City's for fun, Dragons that will rob you like a Bandit just because they like the shiny things you have on you.

An Ogre can destroy a City wall by themselves allowing Goblins to enter the city in waves, take Glory City Wall as an example the city wall is Shaped as a Rune formation, this formation has a Ward effect and its always covering the Wall, but even so, the City can fall any day because of some Beast in a Bad mood.

As New Mages, you need to be ready, learn the best spells, Create your own Magic that best fits your combat style. If you make an Ice Sphere and its best suited to you then use it if that will help you take a Dragon down. But if you are not good with the Spell you are best at, and the enemy of yours survives before you finish it off, you will be killed anger from a Loss is very Normal thing, People mostly, they can get so mad because they lost in a Way and will try everything even paying for assassin contract.

As you learn Magic in this Academy you are best to learn what you can and use what you can. If you dont, then dont expect to live long after leaving the Academy. A Failed Mage, is a Dead Mage! (Head Mage)

Being told how dangerous it is, The students that was recently playing around got scared, some even felt the urge to cry, but there are more strong willed students that became serious over fear, they can tell the warning from the Head Mage and they had the urge to leave the Room just to start studying and learning Spells right away.

Some of the weaker ones that was able to wake up from being scared remember the last words, A Failed Mage, is a Dead mage. Got more scared on dying wanted to start learning Spells quickly also just for survival.

As Such, Specter now An Ex-Magic Angel, knows just how chaotic the Worlds can be, Demons may be Enemies but that does not mean they are hunted down and killed, the Angels have seen there share of Destruction and its not just the Demons that go on a Killing spree but also Humans and there are also Angels that lose there way and do more damaged then Good, the Humans would destroy themselves if they had the chance, But Angels that go Bad can kill everything for fun. Humans Even so they might destroy themselves and others, they are creative, Cunning and the Gods dont look down on them but also dont care unless its involved on certain worlds. Earth as an Example, the Humans dont know that they are protected by Multiple Gods, the Gods are keeping the Living hell of the Demons away as they can live how they want, but the Humans wish for destruction and its confusing to the Gods, until they realized its out of Boredom, to fix this they let Demons in, the Demons take people over before born turning them into raging maniac people that Start Wars between themselves, Becoming enemies of the others that want peace making chaos but this created peace to an extent that they will not kill themselves because of wars.

Of course its all controlled, if not then the world would have been destroyed by now from a Demon that almost took over the world himself, almost done it, if the gods did not ask for the Angels to help assist. It did boost the Technology allowing flight and but also Bombs and Tanks was created.

The door closed, Specter sat down crossed leg and cleared his mind first, then he opened his eyes and a Rune Appeared before him, a Book White with Gold lettering Spellbook, and a Quill with an Ink well.

As it Floats before Specter he picked the Holden Feather up and dipped it into the Ink Well as the book opened he started Making Runes on the First page.

Mixing Dark and Light together to make a New Magic Structure is needed, if i dont i will end up killing myself on accident by using to much Dark or Light. (Specter)

As he was talking his hands made a Half Dark and Light Rune on the book.

It did not take long to finish but its still only a Level one spell.

Waving his left Hand a Ward Surrounded him, then a Circle Ward appeared before Specter that has Five other Wards behind that one.

That should be enough. (Specter)

Then looking at the rune he created he Made that same rune before him and a Darkness filled the room that would make anyone shiver, but it was replaced by a Calm relaxing feeling.

A Black Sphere that seems to glow White yet Doesn't at the same time floated before Specter.

My the Gods forgive me for making this spell mixing Holy Mana with Demonic Mana. (Specter)

Sending the Spell at the ward it shattered the ward as soon as it was Touched followed by the second, the spell slowed a Bit, arriving at the third Ward it slowed just a Bit more. Then it hit the fourth and slowed half speed, but it still continue on hitting the fifth Ward and it became slow as a Snail before hitting the Last ward that surrounded a large space around him.

{BOOM!}

Darkness Mana filled the Ward and Surrounded Specter and yet it was Calm as the Holy Mana kept it Calm.

The Head Mage looking through papers but he dropped the paper and looked down.

In a Dark Place filled with Burning Ground Lava moved over the land as The Ground is Chard Black from the Flowing Lava. A Demon Opened its eyes and looked into the distance.

With a wave of his hand a Bright light flashed and it made him cough up Blood right after words but the Demonic Mana vanished like it was not even there and the Ward was Removed, then he cleaned the Room up with Element magic before getting a Glass of water, Specter Opened a Book and started reading as he drink his water.

{Boom!}

The door was blasted open and the Head mage walked in looking around only to see Specter drinking water looking at him confused.

He looked around yet no Demonic Mana is Present.

What dis you do? (Head Mage)

Make myself a Cup of Water as I started reading this book. (Specter)

Looking at Specter he can see he was not lying but also not telling all of it.

Why did i feel Demonic Mana here all of a Sudden. (Head Mage)

That lie made Head Mage keep looking at Specter for Five minutes as he just enjoyed his water sip by sip.

Leaving the door was repaired and everything returned back to normal.

Specter just continue sipping his water....

Once it was empty, Specter Coughed and Blood Splattered on the floor.

Dang, that hurt, well, the Spell worked but I need the two Manas to stop fighting if I only use one. (Specter)

Research on how to Mix my Two Mana together safely and allow the use of the two separate without one going out of control.

Waving his hand another Book appeared Black with White Letters, Research Book, Opening it Specter started Writing.
