Chapter 3: Unknown
After some thinking Elsie decides to speak with her fater about what she saw before
'Father probably doesn't know anything about him, he might be powerful but he doesn't have eyes like me, I should go tell him, at least warn him, that Lucifer might be dangerous, I don't doubt father, he is one of the strongest in the kingdom but I have this uneasy feeling about him, it won't hurt to warn him'
She let's go of her giant stuffed bear thats bigger then even her, gets up from bed and starts walking to the throne room, followed by 2 silver guards which were standing in front of her room.

Back in one of the dimly lit room somewhere inside the castle, there sit 4 individuals around a table
"Why did father get so angry at Timmoty for no reason, usually his punishment were some scolding or getting to sit in his room for a day, the last time he punished someone this much was when Timmoty almost broke down our kingdoms negotiations for peace and alliances with Ruzoba Empire and they almost started a war, when he said something about their crown princess, making her father, the king of Ruzoba furious " says Percy
" It's possible since he didn't follow the tradition and introduced himself, because after the introduction, we usually never see the new brother, they all go off to live in the forbidden mansion " says Ivy
" Hey have you ever thought what happens with the adopted sons throughout the generations, usually you only see them once in the introduction and they go off to live in the mansion, seldom showing their face around the castle, I wonder where are their descendents, it impossible for all this time, that not even one of them left a family " says Quinn
"Maybe they use the sons to train them into black knights" says Quenn
The other in the room are surprised because Quenn almost never talks while his twin brother is totally the opposite of him
Ivy is the first to say something about his thought
"That's highly unlikely, there were 22 of them 500 years ago and 12 of them died, they were left with only 10, I know they are strong but its not possible for them to live so long so that each generation of King they only get one new member, that would mean they have a way to make themselves immune to dying of old age and only capable of dying in combat, if any of the Kings knew if they had something like that they would want to take it and live as long as them, our father might be strong but he will soon die of old age, and an heir will be chosen soon, we have to act "
" Maybe they only make their commanders inside and replenish their numbers from elsewhere, father called 10 over to guard his throne room, that doesn't mean they are the same 10 from before, but that still doesn't explain why they seldom saw the adopted sons"
not willing to go against his brother Quenn, Quinn tries to support him
Percy sneers and says
" He is just commoner, you can't make a fighting monster like them, if they want to train the they have to take someone with atleast a noble blood, those commoners are useless"
Ivy sighs inwardly in disappointment. She would never make an alliance with them but on her own she is weak, and at least they have a better chance for her to ascend the throne, their brothers also have their own factions, and people from other ones don't yet know who is with whom.
Every single princess and prince have some noble houses supporting them, because if the prince or princess whom they supported wins they will get alot of benefits. There are also other royal families from other Kingdoms helping out trying to put their own chosen prince. Benefits of supporting someone as they ascend the throne are unimaginable.

Somewhere inside the castle you can see a little girl without a care in the world going for the castle exit. She is currently without her guards.
'Heheh those stupid guards are so easy to ditch, can't have them stopping me from playing with my new brother, maybe he is will gladly play with me unlike my other siblings.
Since there are no guards around the forbidden mansion and the regular guards don't know about the secret royal tunnels it was easy for her to escape with a little magic.
Anyone would be surprised seeing a little girl in clothes that are to big for her. The sleeves of her blue dress are longer then her arms so you can't see her fingers and she is just holding a stuffed doll in her arms hugging it. Also the dress is longer at the bottom and she has to walk slowly so she doesn't trip.
She casts a little wind magic and hovers over the stone wall that's only 3 metres in hight. The wall looks like it's just there to mark the territory. The iron gates are closed and there's noone to open them for her so she has to enter like this, if her father saw her now he would be paralysed by fear,it's forbidden for a reason.
But the little girl is totally oblivious to this, they just told her to never go there, never the reason, and now with her new brother being there, her curiosity got the best of her.
As she's coming near the mansion she sees its not what she expected she was thinking it was going to be an old house, but in front of her stands a mansion as big as the royal Palace. Unlike the Palace door this door are of a normal human height. In front of the mansion there's a flower garden with flowers of all shapes and sizes, the garden here is even bigger then at the palaces, she is tempted to just play here, but decides to go look for Lucifer first then come out and play with him. As she pushes the door she founds out its not locked and enters a big hallway with pillars on both sides they look like the ones in the throne room but there are alot more of them here. The hallway is well lit, but she does not see where the light is coming from, there is a carpet runing through the middle and a bunch of doors at either side.
Since she doesn't know where her brother is she decides to treat this like a game where she needs to find him. So she happily starts skipping through the hallway and opening the doors one by one not knowing someone is watching her.

A beautiful young lady, looking like Viola, less mature but still so enticing, wearing regular casual clothes that don't seem to be for the like of nobles, comes into the throne room.
"Father where is Melissa, I went to her room but she wasn't there"
The man sitting on the throne, looking like a 50 year old man, opens his eyes and looks at her with care in his eyes
"Have you looked for her in the garden, maybe she is there playing my dear Anna"
She responds
" I have father but she's not there either"
'Hmm where could that little girl be'
"I will check using the tracking talisman"
She keeps looking at her father waiting for him to tell her where Melissa is, when she saw his eyes suddenly contract and his hand holding the talisman start to shake a little
"I found her, I will go get her don't, worry go to your room"
He says that trying to sound like he does usually, but his voice seems to crack a little, which she finds unusual, but nonetheless she complies and leaves.
"Yes father"
After the left the king is sweating buckets because the location talisman showed Melissa is in Lucifers mansion, the king doesn't know if he should go and disturb him.
'Will that make him more angry, he said noone to disturb him, but now that Melissa went there he will be angry, me coming there will just make things worse, I can just hope he isn't to bored and angry to give her a quick death instead of torturing he like the last guy who wondered in the when he was angry, sigh my great uncle was tortured for a year before he finaly gave back us his dead body, the king had to think a lot of excuses, but he never dared to complain to Lucifer, I guess I will have to do the same and wait, if I as a king make him angry what will be of this nation, I still haven't chosen a heir and passed all the secrets to him. Sigh, should I go beg him, she is still alive, my brother knows some parts of the secrets but not all of them he is smart he should be able to shape up the new successor '
The king gets up and leaves the throne room as quickly as he can, the less time he wastes the better.
