Mafia dad

Training as a police officer was brutal, little to no sleep and we were not allowed contact with our families. After we qualified as officers I worked my way up the force putting many criminals behind bars, I came face to face with people that had to be placed into maximum security prisons. My dad was very against me becoming a police officer but he never told me why so I did it anyway and he took away my allowance, if he gave me a good reason for me not to join then in would consider having another job. With my excellent grades I could have any job I wanted, but it's always been my dream to be a police officer and putting away criminals. Me and my dad used to be close before I decided to become a police officer, my mum died when I was six because of a gunshot would. I should have been the one to die at the person who shot my mum was aiming for me but she threw herself between me and the gun, me and my dad mourned for months and he decided to never get married to another woman again. My dad is the type of dad who would tell my boyfriend if he upsets me then the gun will come out, it is not illegal to have guns but it's my job to bring in criminals who use guns for the wrong reasons. My dad seems to be sneaking out of the house every night at the same time and I decided after watching him fail for four weeks in a row to follow him, as a trained officer I have to know how to sneak to capture unsuspecting criminals. I could my dad talking to mafia but as o got closer and I could hear what was being said I realised he was ordering the mafia around, then I realised why my dad never wanted me to become a police officer as it would be my job to bring him in. I wondered how long he was going to keep his life away from me and then decided to quit my job, after I quit my job I told my dad why and joined the mafia with him. The end.
