"So now you have some basic information about this world, as for your reincarnation you will just be sent into the world in your current body, your few memories that you have intact." Said Jeff.

I was still confused, had questions to ask and wasn't sure if this was all real but I decide to go with the flow.

Then Jeff started explaining again

"Now it's time for your advantages" He waved his hand and a holographic display appeared in front of me.

"Normally races get one advantage but since your race, the human race, is so pathetic we give you an additional ability"

I looked at him scornfully

"Don't look at me like that, it's true. The dwarves have strong bodies, the elves have strong magic abilities, the goblins are fast et cetera"

"I guess you are right"

\What was I thinking, why should I be unhappy I get an additional ability? \

Abilities are things that improves or complements something else, such as faster speed or better magic damage. The difference between an advantage and ability is that abilities falls under advantages. Under advantages are: abilities, skills, items, information and other.

Advantages can only be given by administrators.

Skills are certain moves or attacks that gives a special effect. A skill could be something like 'double fireball' that lets you shoot two fireballs instead of one when using magic.

Yes, there is magic.

Items given by administrators have special properties or effects.

Information given by administrators can basically be anything, this sounds useless compared to the other advantages but what happens if you get the information about the location to a treasure but then are you strong enough to get it. So it all depends how you use the information and what it is.

Other is the left overs. It consists of a bunch of random stuff. Such as allowing you to start in a specific area or changing your race or changing how you look.

"Your given ability is random and you must discover yourself what it is about. You must choose your advantage yourself."

"okay" I replied

A holographic display appeared in front of me. On it was a list containing all the advantages I could choose from. There were thousands of advantages that an individual could choose from.

\with so many options and cool advantages my new life will be great\

There were the different categories. And you could also click on an advantage and it would give you a full description of what it does or contains.

I was just about to start going through the list, I would have checked every advantage, then I would have compared them all and finally chose the best one.

"you have got an hour to choose, begin" said Jeff

I was just about to argue, how can an hour be enough to look through thousands of advantages but then I remembered time is precious and I wouldn't get anything out of arguing anyway. I went to the bottom of the list and was going to work my way up. I thought if I start from the bottom instead from the top my advantage would be more different but what I didn't know that each list's items are shuffled randomly for each person.

The reason I say more different is because each advantage has different starts or percentages. If you choose an ability that allows you to make your water spells stronger that ability can range anywhere from making your spells 1% stronger to making it 1000% stronger. So each person has a random ability, then they get to choose an advantage and that advantages specifics are also randomised. So the chances of you getting the same setup as someone else is almost zero.

I started going through the list, I was mainly looking at abilities because information probably won't be as helpful, the 'other advantages' don't give me an increase in strength, I did look at a few skills and I was only looking at non-consumable items because I don't want just a temporary increase in strength.

After using fifty minutes of my hour I stopped going through the list, I looked at the advantages that I found to my liking. For the last few minutes I compared them and decided which one I will take.

I ended up choosing an item, it was a sword called the 'Silver Stride' sword. This sword is not extremely powerful in the beginning, it is just good, but the sword can upgrade by itself over time.

I chose the sword because I didn't want to start my new life off with nothing and with this sword it can also improve allowing me to have a steady increase in strength.

After I chose my advantage the holographic display disappeared right in front of my hands.

"I will transfer the main language into your mind, so when you get there you can naturally speak it. I will be watching your journey to the central area" said Jeff

"Why would I go there?" I asked confused.

"Ohh, you don't have to go there it's just that most reincarnators do"

"Why" I asked again

"All reincarnators start in one of the eight areas surrounding the central area, unless you used an advantage, and the only way to gain power fame or prestige is in the central area. All noble positions are given by The Alliance which comes with your own territory. So most reincarnators make their way to the central area or at least the main place in their area." said Jeff

Just as I was about to start asking Jeff questions again, I noticed my hands were also disappearing and neither quickly or slowly by whole body started to disappear.

I opened my eyes once again. I was in a completely different area. This time I could actually see the ground, the sun, the sky and my surroundings.

I looked down and found myself wearing simple clothes mad out of cloth.

\Thank goodness I didn't start off naked, I wouldn't want to meet other people like that\

Except for my clothes on me all I had was silver stride. I decide to look at its properties.

Silver Stride

Level: 6

Description: Can cut through anything easily that's not metal, including people, it takes a few swings for metal. Causes 6.7 times the amount of damage a level 1(normal) sword would cause. This sword can upgrade. This sword has a durability enchantment, sharpness enchantment and a swift enchantment making your attacks much faster.

All lifeforms can see the properties of items, skill books or ability crystals unless its owned then only the owner can see the properties. Skill books you learn and they become your skills. Ability crystals you can absorb and they become your ability. Some skill books disintegrate when learned and all ability crystals shatter when absorbed.

Items are usually divide between levels 0 – 10. Most items remain below level 3. Weapons and magical items are the ones that are above 3. A level 0 weapon is a poor made weapon. A level 1 weapon is okay made weapon. A level 2 weapon is good made or perfect made weapon. To be a level 3 weapon and above its must have special effects or magical properties.

Skills and abilities are categorised by letters. It starts by F and goes up down to A. some overpowered skills or abilities have an 'S' rank and some godly skills or abilities can even have multiple 'S'. Each rank can be further divided into: '-' the letter, the letter and '+' the letter. Rank F skills or abilities are normally trash or have negative effects. Rank E is okay and skills or abilities are only actual helpful from rank D and down.

I looked around in my vicinity and it was mainly open land. I walked around in the surroundings for a few minutes and after a while I found a road, it was actually just where the grass was dead due to it being ridden over by carts multiple times. So I started walking down the road, as there will be civilisation and once I meet others and find out more about how society operates, I will decide what I must do.

When I started walking it was almost noon and now its sunset. I decide to camp out for the night near a river it was quiet place not too far from the road with a few trees in the surrounding. Although I had water, I was starting to get hungry as I haven't eaten anything for half a day. I wanted to start a fire to keep warm but I had nothing to start a fire. So I started rubbing two sticks together, just look like an idiot and realise I have no clue on how to start a fire. I decided just to go to bed on the comfortable floor. Sometime in the night I heard growls which woke me up. I wasn't sure if it was from a wild beast or a monster. So I did what any logical person would do. I got up and held my sword in my hands. Then without giving it a second thought I ran to nearest tree and started climbing it. I sat there hoping that it won't see me.

\Sure I have got a strong sword but I don't know how to use it, was planning to learn how to use it\

I wasn't that tired. So for the rest of the night I just sat in the tree, not moving much and trying to be as quite as possible. Although I wanted food I couldn't bother knowing that I could end up as food.

The morning sun rays started to finally shine through the leaves above me and the roars started quieting down. I got down from the tree and started my tortuous journey. To follow the what seems like never ending road.

After walking for a few more hours, with blisters on my feet, I finally saw some civilisation. It was bunch of small houses close to each other but they each had a small yard. I was so happy to see civilisation.

I started half limping/jogging. I couldn't run due to my muscles aching. After a few seconds of whatever you call my body movements I stepped through the entrance and I majestically fell on my face. Yes, I collapsed due to exhaustion.

I opened my eyes. To an unfamiliar surroundings.

I was lying in a bed, actually on a piece of wood with some material on it. I just lay there not knowing where I am, how I got here or what I am supposed to do.

After a while nothing happened. So I got up from the small room and pushed the shabby looking door to the room, it looked like it could break at any second. I came to a slightly larger room. Sitting at a table and stitching up some clothes was a middle aged woman.

She turned her head around, she obviously heard my footsteps. She had a common appearance with plain clothes that looked a little worn out.

"You are finally awake" she said

"How long have I been sleeping for?" I asked

"Almost half a day" she said

I looked at myself. My sword was gone and there was medicine on my blistered feet.

"Where is my sword?" I asked

"I hid it" she said

"Why?" I asked confused.

"You will get it back when you pay me"

"Pay you for what" I asked

I was just getting more and more confused.

"For the medicine and the food I force fed you" she said

\What happened to kindness\

"I don't have money" I said embarrassedly

"What person doesn't have money?" she asked

"I am new here" I said

"Obviously, I saw you collapse in front of the village" she said

"No, I mean I'm new to this world" I said

"No wonder you have such a nice sword" she said

"Can I have my sword back now?" I said

"No" she said

"Why not?" I asked

"If you don't have money you got to work for it" she said

"Okay fine, what must I do?" I asked

\I probably have to work on the fields\

"You can be the village cleaner" she said

My mouth was so wide open that I thought my jaw would touch the ground. I was just that shocked. Out of everything I could have been as a reincarnator with a magical sword, it ends up being a cleaner.

"What I thought you were going to make me Farm?" I asked

Hoping I miss heard.

"No we already have enough people for that, we are a farming Village after all" she said

She even prepared work black and white work cloths (maid clothing) but I immediately refused.

So began my days of hard work by lightly dusting the furniture, washing dishes and removing cobwebs

I got a bucket of cold water as my wake-up alarm

"Rise and shine sleepy head" said Catherine

\These village people wake up way to early\

Catherine is the name of the middle-aged woman. She and her husband Darrell live together in a medium sized house close to the centre of the village. Darrell is the unofficial village chief. they don't have an actual chief but when decision have to be made Darrell makes them. That is also the reason I was taken to their house. I stay in one of the spare bedrooms it is a small room with the with one cupboard and a window that's squeaks every time you open it. I first started cleaning Darryl and Catherine's house, but after washing every inch of the house and making sure I could see my reflection in the utensils there is nothing left for me to do but didn't have enough money yet so I started cleaning the other houses in the village and that is how I became known as The Village Maid.

100 silver = 1 gold

I earn 10 copper a day. That is not a lot of money but since the work I do is very easy I get paid very little. My meals cost me 3 copper a day, 1 copper a meal which is considered very good and 2 copper for rent. if they had to go by town prices I wouldn't be making any money. So after the deductions I make 5 copper a day. The medicine cost 30 copper it was cheap as it was just for very light injuries. So after 6 days I successfully paid off my debt and got my sword back.
