Invest, Invest, and Invest agian...

A week has passed, now its 8th July. Today is Saturday, Uncle Robert will come home soon.

My proposal for the music industry songs copyrights and publishing rights along with the need of new talents for IL&M is carefully written. When Uncle comes home I will show them to him.

After completing the third volume of Pakkins Land, I started the fourth volume. Because of the holidays, I was able to spend my spare time drawing the remaining chapters for Pakkins Land.

It takes more time for inking the right colours. If there is a mistake, I have to redraw them and colour it again.

When Uncle gets more talents for my comic company, then all the inking should be done my them based on my thoughts and samples.

After drawing some pages, I went to play with the Turtles.

While I was playing with the Turtles, Uncle Robert came home.

Then he went to his room and refreshed himself. He came out and sat on the sofa. I then then let him rest for a while.

After that I approached him and gave him the proposal.

He smiled and said "Kid. Go and bring me the file in my room."

I went and searched his room. I found it on his bed beside his bag.

I brought it and gave it to him. He was already looking into the proposal.

He then gave me side glance and asked me to go through it. Then he continued to browse through the proposal.

I sighed and started to look through it.

As I browsed through it, I was shocked to find that he has found me a comic company Charlton Comics, which was going through the tough times.

Then he bought it for $850 thousand. Their titles, staff and distributers. Along with their existing licensing rights.

Now, he also bought a new building at $1.3 million and renovated it with all necessary equipment.

This building is near the Newgate Production Studio. After renovation, the down floor will be for comic artist employees and top floor will be for me, the Boss.

Not only this, he was also in discussions with the Bagdasarian Studio. The studio, that created 'Alvin and the Chipmunks'. The one that made their franchise a big hit globally. But now, they are in dire need for money and talent.

Sr. Bagdasarian left and Jr. Bagdasarian is now looking after the company. After going through the information about the company, I came to conclusion, that the company mascot 'Alvin and Chipmunks' are not as famous as they are in the future. So, the offering stake of $2million for 70% of the company with an evaluation of total $3-4 million, because of their Intellectual Property 'The Chipmunks'. It is a STEALLL definitely A BIG STEALLL. Because in the future, this was more than $200 million franchise.

This was all developed by the Jr. Bagdasarian and his wife, from what I heard in my past life. It seems like I can remember the things if I can focus on that particular thought. The talent given by god as a gift seems to be improving my memory and making it not to forget things easily.

But Uncle Robert seems to good luck and keen sense for picking up great things.

Next one is AIP/AITV, the American International Productions. This one is fine, with their relatively small but mature television network and contacts with the International film distributers and studios, it is also a great one for acquiring. It was given an evaluation of $4-5 million, because of the competition of acquiring it.

When I completed reading the file, Uncle is still reading my proposal. After reading it, he has complicated expression on his face.

He said "Kid, you are born for business. I have never seen anyone with such keen sense for business. When others are looking for opportunities, you either find or create them. Sigh! I will look after the music companies and also find new talent for the IL&M division."

After saying this, he looked at me for a while and asked me about his thought for investing or acquiring the companies mentioned in the file is good or not.

DAMN! He is asking for my opinion. It was different from considering. Before he considers my suggestions but now he treats me like his equal for the business decisions.

I don't know whether this is good or bad.

I thought for a while and said "It is good, Uncle." and put the file and went to play with the Turtles.

The atmosphere is bit heavy for my taste. So, I left quickly.

After sitting on my bed, I went through the past conversation with Uncle in my mind.

There is no problem from my side and I acted just like a genius kid. Certainly not like an adult.

With that I had a quick nap.

Robert's POV

I felt the atmosphere a bit heavy after saying those words to the Kid. I feel a bit bad. Seems like he left early after sensing the atmosphere. But what can I do. He is real genius.

Who would have thing about getting easy money from the music industry with just songs publishing rights and copyrights. This was good idea and many haven't realised it fully. There are some gaps. Not all publishing companies will be publishing the new songs quickly. There will a complex procedure before publishing. Even when published, they need to consider losses if the song isn't hit.

If they were hit, the small companies need more time to occupy the market. By then, the large ones occupy with their numerous songs. After that, the songs get cold reception.

If the company did as he wrote, then those copyrights and publishing rights are indeed valuable. It is worthy of the investment.

He is really good at seeing these opportunities. I didn't know what has gotten into me, I blurted out the words asking about his opinion. I didn't know when I started considering him my equal.

Sigh! It seems I really did freak him out about asking his opinion.

I should remember that he is still a kid, he should be feeling awkward now.

I hope he will forget about this conversation and talk normal again during the dinner.

During the dinner….

The kid is behaving normal and no awkward moments. We talked and argued like every day.

After dinner, we went to out respective rooms and slept.

Next day

MC POV

After the conversation with Uncle Robert, I felt it would be better if I behaves normal. This proved to be correct. There are no awkward moments and chatted happily.

Then Uncle Robert went to his office and I also started to go through what I wrote in my notes.

I saw that there is no Deadpool, Venom, War Machine, Rouge, Kitty Pryde, Hit Monkey and so on in Marvel.

Harley Quinn and Cyborg in DC.

I wanted to draw their characters and storylines, then get it copyrighted. But these are interlinked with their respective teams and universes.

I can only draw and write their storylines and see if I can get these introduced with their respected universes. Deadpool, Rouge, Kitty Pryde in X-Men; Venom with Spiderman; War Machine with Iron Man; Hit Monkey with Deadpool; Because they became famous due to the introduction with popular titles and teams.

I don't think I can make them famous standalone. Venom can because I saw Sony's version and Hit Monkey because I can introduce it to Ninja Turtles version. But others like War Machine became famous of Iron Man; Deadpool, Rouge, Kitty Pryde in Uncanny X-men and X-Men expansion.

Cyborg because of Justice League and Harley Quinn introduced with Joker.

It seems I can only try to introduce these characters to their respective homes, hope they consider and not throw them away.

If they can consider, I hope to have a pleasant cooperation. After all, there are no famous Daredevil of Frank Miller, Uncanny X-men's popular characters, no future Justice league and Avengers...

I should also search for Frank Miller, because he is good at darker and gritty tone for characters like Daredevil. He also brings more realistic and mature feel to his works.

If he is with me, then I can write a lighter tone of Daredevil version of Ninja Turtles without worrying over copyright infringements.

I also wrote down Frank Miller name and high-lighted it.

I should also ask my Uncle to take me to Marvel Studio and see if Frank is present and then buy him over.

With that, I got ready myself and waited for the afternoon.

I always go to him in afternoon. So, I waited while playing with the Turtles.

Then Uncle's driver came and took me to Uncle.

When I reached the office room, I saw he was in meeting.

I opened the door and sat beside him without disturbing.

I also looked over the files and quietly listening to their conversation.

Jim Hansen POV

I wanted to have the Muppets appear on big screen. I showed my teams work to the ITC Executive, but they showed no response. I thought they might give me green light and wanted to start the production, but the executive said to meet again tomorrow.

I sighed and met him again next day. The ITC executives have decided on low investment for the film production. I have argued on the budget and asked for more investment but they are not giving in. So, I asked them for some time.

I know I don't have enough time and should start the production without delay. Because my team has the preparatory work for the production.

I wanted to look for other investors, but I don't think I can find one in a week.

I used my connections and started to look for other investors.

Though they wanted to invest, they don't have enough capital to start immediately.

By chance, I was given a meeting with the 'Star Wars', 'Tron' production company owner Robert Newgate.

I know he has enough capital and can invest in the project. So, I went to the meeting with the director James Frawley.

The meeting was going well and Robert Newgate decided to give his decision in an hour after some thought.

I waited and time felt moving very slowly. James said not to worry, if it is a no then we will start the production with ITC and then look for investors again.

I too thought that way but I know we should start early to have no obstructions in the middle or been seen as heavy spenders. Because this will cause others to have other thoughts before investing in our projects.

After an hour

I and James were called in. Inside I saw Robert with his Nephew who came when we were in the meeting before sitting side by side.

Then the final judgement came.

Robert has decided to join in the co-production with ITC or to have wholly produced themselves.

I was relieved to hear his decision. I know ITC will definitely get themselves involved as they have already helped in the pre-production.

So, I and James decided to have a co-production with ITC and left happily.

In the meeting room.

MC POV

After learning about the 'Muppets Movie' project, I looked at the proposal.

When Uncle said that he will give his decision in an hour, I know that he will ask for my opinion.

But he didn't ask for my opinion and we talked as he had his lunch.

After the lunch, he called them and decided to invest in the project and gave them two choices.

I was surprised that he did this. But then thought, Uncle Robert is an adult and he already has his experience in choosing the right scripts.

I think he also felt that he should take his decision whether it is right or not and not depend on a kid.

After reaching an initial agreement, they concluded to have another meeting in two days and finalise it.

Next another meeting took place and I felt that it was too damn exhausting to have so many meetings.

I felt that I should go out before I get bored. But when I heard that it was for the TV network investment, I decided to stay and listen.

After I listened to the entire meeting, I only know that Uncle has good luck… not just luck but too damn luck.
