Who should eat all those Devil Fruit's?

The training continued until Gin arrived at the restaurant. Everything happened like in the original story of One Piece. Sanji gave food to Gin and after a while, Don Krieg arrived. After he ate enough, he tried to attack the Baratie but was stopped by Nami.

"Why do I have to do this?"

Nami looked towards Luffy with tears in her eyes. Why did she have to beat the most dangerous pirate in East Blue?

Chansey was beside Nami to help her. When she got injured in the fight with Krieg, she would heal her.

Zoro decided to challenge Mihawk after he finally showed up. Even if he knew he would lose, he was too stubborn to back off against the strongest swordsman in the world. Luffy, who was experienced with stubborn guys, just decided to let him go.

What happened was the same as in the original story. He survived but was injured.

Nami had a hard time against Don Krieg. They fought all day long. Chansey would heal her after a while, so she could fight against him longer. Sometimes she would even heal Don Krieg without letting Nami notice something. The crew wasn't interested in the fight. Hina and Ain didn't saw a threat in this pirate and Usopp had a logia fruit, so he could beat them without effort. After countless hours Nami finally returned.

Don Krieg's armor made it difficult for Nami to injure him without the use of Haki, because besides that, Nami didn't have another offensive attack. Luffy realized that her fight with Krieg let her make huge improvements in her Armament Haki, without it she wouldn't be able to beat that guy.

Luffy wasn't interested in Don Krieg, he was just too weak. So he used him as a sparring partner for his navigator. Zoro had to learn that he had a long way to go until he could become a strong swordsman, so his fight with Mihawk wasn't meaningless. Luffy wasn't interested in Mihawk, he was someone Zoro had to beat.

After the fight, the crew decided to depart for the next island. Luffy contemplated about their next goal. At first, he didn't want to go to Loguetown, but he decided to stop there for a day because he could see his father and he remembered that Zoro got a good sword in this city.

Luffy was thinking about his future crew. He knew who he would recruit but he had a serious problem. Baccarat walked beside him with her alluring smile still on her face.

"What's wrong, boss?", she asked.

"We have too many devil fruits. I don't know if we have enough people for all of them. All of my plans are useless if I have the fruit but no person who could eat it, right?"

Baccarat laughed at that silly answer.

"Then why don't you recruit more people?"

"Everyone strong already has a devil fruit power", he sighed. "I have to train all of them from level 1. Not only do I have to train my little monsters, but I also have to train my little crew members."

Baccarat laughed. Everyone wished they would have more devil fruits than they could use, but her boss thought it was troublesome. Only he could say such stupid things.

"Alright, first I didn't want to bring this girl along, but I rather prefer a beauty than more perverts in my crew. So I guess we bring her along."

Baccarat just smiled at that.

After Luffy stored enough food and water in his bag it was time to go. Luffy summoned Gyarados and Sanji couldn't believe that this monster was their 'ship'. The girls put him between Zoro and Usopp because no one of them wanted to be too close to the pervert.

It was time to continue their journey.

...

Before the crew arrived at Logue Town, they passed an island called Cocoyasi Village. Gyarados was flying five meters above the ground, only passing this island in the air.

"So this is your home town, Nami?"

"Yes", she answered with a smile. "Thank you for taking this route, Luffy. I had the chance to see my island for the last time."

The crew was confused for a moment because they didn't hear an answer from their captain. All of them looked towards the front and they saw Gible, but Luffy wasn't there anymore.

"WHERE IS THE BOSS?", they screamed in unison.

"Did you see when he escaped?", Ain asked.

"No, Hina didn't see anything."

"When the hell did he escape?"

The crowd was silent for a while.

"I might know why he escaped.", said another voice at the back.

They all looked towards this unknown voice. The crew was even more confused.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?"

Nami was the only one who recognized this face. Wasn't this her adoptive sister, Nojiko?

"What are you doing here, sister?"

"The hero who kicked Arlong's ass a couple of weeks ago arrived in front of me. Then he grabbed me and threw me on top of this little monster", she said with a calm smile.

"WHY ARE YOU SO COOL ABOUT THAT?"

Then they heard another voice that was coming from the front.

"Don't be so shocked, I picked her up. I changed my plans so we need her in our crew. Damn it, someone has to eat all those devil fruits, right?"

The man who was talking was Luffy. They didn't even question his new ghost-like ability to appear and disappear whenever he wanted.

"So you kidnapped her just like that?", they asked in unison.

"She is okay with that. Or am I wrong, Nojiko?"

"I'm totally fine with it. It was boring on this little island."

Half of the crew nearly fell from the blue Chinese dragon. What was wrong with those two? Their captain was kidnapping people left and right, and this strange new crewmate didn't even mind it.

They all didn't know that their captain developed the mindset of a Pokemon Trainer in the last couple of years. Maybe all the time he spent with his Pokemon alone made some changes to his common sense.

If you wanted someone in your crew, then you had to catch them. And that is exactly what he did to his newest addition to the crew.

Gotta catch 'em all, that's the motto.
