found a recruit

Hello..

For some reason I hear loud steps behind me an turn around to see a built barbarian running at me.

I did the obvious thing and dodged the attack the aggressor launched with a large sword. I stepped in and retaliated.

it eventually became a battle of endurance and intelligence vs the grunt.

soon I found his weakness in his knee causing me to strike it over and over again with my foot.

I began to laugh since the first time after reincarnating. I found this man absolutely ridiculous. there is no way he is still going for a head butt when I'm at this distance!

"Ha!" Brought up my knee and hit his chin hard enough to do damage to us both. i felt my bones move around as I watched his eyes roll inside his head before he fell down making me let go.

i stood indifferently above him and back away a bit towards the lake, as I faced it I felt as though pulling out my scroll would be as easy as eating. I breathed and put out my hand. at that 90 degree angle a parchment appeared so I let a smile mark my face.

I unrolled the parchment and took a look.

reach poked the immunity list as the information for how it worked seemed to go to his head. as he touched he imagined a crowd of centipede all shApes sizes and variety and a single roach..

he then imagined all of them being squashed, losing limbs, and being attacked by wind, lightening, fire, debuffed by any elements although he did miss quite a bit thus after wards he imagined how his body would react.

sometimes his body would phase through smash attacks, water and lightening, fire, losing limbs could no longer effect him as the latter just could not happen.

he wondered what else where there when he stopped and cancelled out all and just worked on phasing through physical attacks. and debilitating movements of all kind..

now only nature would be his enemy, he still stopped his aging and such as well picturing time moving on while it did not effect him the slightest.

"yup that should be it!" he said. pressing confirm underneath immunity only for him to be shrouded in light blinding the others who were in midst of their bickering.

"So. this is what it feels like.." reach felt power pulsing through him, although it didn't grant him abilities it gave a special affect an his physical body absorbed the immunities set.

the blinding light disappeared leaving reach behind. he stood standing looking at his reflection in the lake hands on his hip.

he knew deep down his ummunities only covered non elemental damage such as elements and spirit attacks as soul still do damage .

still satisfied he turned around to check out the surrounding area only to find that his seemingly quiet and empty surrounding were not so quiet and empty as once thought.

there was 3 people. a man in dark clothes , a woman in green that wore leaf like armor. then a nother with short shorts and a beautiful figure with great assets. she had cat ears and a tail all in the color blue.

his eyes lingers long on the cat girl but she merely stared back at him with large eyes they were black with a bit of purple. her expression came from curious to enthusiastic and she decided to tease him.

"So you really can't talk in front of such a beautiful lady huh? I feel bad though." she said seeming almost sad toward the end of her sentence.

reach perked up and gave the best retort he could. "Sorry!" he was a stiff. after apologizing he bowed a few times.

"A stiff huh?" the scout took a few steps near reach and cupped his chin.

"seems so.. and he's bowing so easily to her." said the archer as she walked over. her looks did not stand out so to reach he ignored her accidently.

"Oops.." reach said while still bowing to the cat girl. the cat immediately noticed a sense of superiority she easily established amongst them. pride welled up in her as she was the most superior in his mind. at least she thought.

"you, I am amrissa genta. You may stand, apologise accepted." she said with a prideful smile.

he stood and smiled back at her.

"Obedient but ignores mostly any one else." the acout analyzed.

"this is where someone ruins the mood right?" reach muttered slightly and turned a disdainful look to the scout he was daring the scout to continue when he heard. the most beautiful laugh he knew of.

amrissa met his look and waved off his curious look toward her. "Sorry sorry hehe its nothing."

reach experienced his heart skip a beat and recogized well the feeling. he would eventually come to love this woman full bloom but for now the roots had only just set in.

he wasn't one to easily fall in love as much as he was no gardener. yet he could still pull weeds. however...

he decided to follow this unknown woman and her group thus he held off on weeding out the budding love for this woman.

"foolish yet deciscive.." the scout said.

"you spoke enough." reach said Glaring at him once more aiming for shutting him up.

the elf archer in leaf like armor sighed as the cat went for an enthusiastic smile. "well lets recruit him already. we still have a bear to hunt down for grosh." she said wanting to avoid being off to the side to much.

'a bear huh? let's check it out' reach thought, everyone looked to him as he nodded. "I'm in."

"I have no control, he seems to think of the two women as the leaders here." the scout said. the girls frowned and the archer released a sigh.

"shut up man or are you cruising for me to to Kick Your ass!?" reach shouted as he now fully faced the scout looking fed up.

the scout didn't change his expression at all. instead he spoke again. "Patient believes in trying to kick my ass?" it dripped in his tone of disbelief but kept the monotone pushing reach over the edge.

"thats it!' reach growled and marched over to him.

"leader should have known better.. from one idiot to the next right? I'm doomed" the archer said covering her face with her hands.

watching the two bicker amrissa watched as their leader frustrate him to to no end and reach some how held back maybe subconciously and argued with his words as the scout sent his annoying analysis as a response.

"quick to anger"

"shut up!"

"impatient."

"quick to annoy!"

listening to them bicker as reach held his anger she smiled, for the first time in a long time it was for something that wasn't fighting. amrissa smiled pleasantly and it seemed as if time slowed down.

a group such as this isn't so bad no?
