Alphas

Alphas are considered to be the strongest of the three secondary genders. They take up 18 1/3% of the population. The three subclasses of them are true alpha (9% of alphas), neutral alpha (64% of alphas), and sub alpha (27% of alphas).

Alphas, like omegas, have stronger senses than betas. They are also more affected by pheromones than betas. Alphas can go into rut in response to the pheromones of an omega in heat or during sex. During a rut, they feel compelled to mate with the omega releasing the pheromones. Many alphas have enough control to resist, but it takes more willpower than the average person can muster. Any alpha in a rut regardless of primary gender can get female omegas pregnant, but only males can get a male omega pregnant.

Alphas can also release pheromones to influence other people. When used to control a person, it is called alpha command. The power of the alpha command varies between subclasses.

The subclass true alpha requires almost exclusively alpha genes, and that is what makes it so rare. True alphas have the most powerful alpha command as well as the highest sensitivity to beta and omega pheromones out of the other alphas.

Neutral alphas have mostly alpha and beta genes. The ratios of which can vary. They have the weakest alpha command of the alphas, but they are often the most athletic. Because of they have less power, they also have the most control over the alpha command and pheromones than the other subclasses.

Sub alphas have mostly alpha and omega genes. the ratios of which can vary. They present differently than neutral alphas because of the effects of the omega genes. They have the second strongest alpha command and are often much gentler in nature than the other alphas. Outside of their pheromone sensitivity and alpha command they are very similar to dominant betas.
