Worse Goes to Worse

in late November of 2016 my mother was diagnosed with bulimia and was taken to the hospital until she would get better. During this time I had graduated high school with decent grades and had moved onto college despite my past experience with school. I worked at a gas station at night to pay for my schooling and did whatever homework and studied during my breaks. I got the call at around 11 at night from the hospital telling me about my mother and her condition at the moment. I had my work buddie cover for the rest of my shift while I went to the hospital to check on her and see how she was doing and of course she told me she was completely fine and I had nothing to worrie about and she would be out of there in no time but we both knew otherwise. After talking with her a bit more I went and discussed with the doctor and how she was he told me her condition was stable but any longer and well we both can assume, after hearing the doctor out it seems she will be in the hospital for quite awhile and she won't be released for a couple of years and due to that amout for time her Bill's will be quite expensive to the point that I dont know if I can pay them. I walk out of the hospital and sit on a nearby bench and think about how I should handle this maybe drop out of college and pick up a second job? maybe become in debt to the mob? I was clueless and lost. Just I was about to get up and leave a woman walks up to me and does the the simple greeting and how are you thing and for some reason I was honest with her I told her i was pretty crappy and I was reasonably upset. Little did I know that this woman would be able to change my future.
