Chapter 34: Virgo

(A/N: Sometimes, I feel frustrated when I'm unable to simplify some sentences. So, please, if you think some sentences can be replaced with a better alternative, then comment it on the paragraph. I don't want to waste a lot of my time brainstorming how to write a better sentence. It sucks when English is not your primary language. I will appreciate your help.)

"WTF! This wasn't how it was supposed to be," exclaimed Natsu loudly. Lucy was also frozen on the spot watching this with a wide mouth.

Virgo didn't say anything other than staring at him in an expectant gaze. Natsu soon calmed down and watched her seriously.

"How can I be your master when I'm not even a celestial spirit wizard?" asked Natsu curiously.

"I don't know how, but I can feel that you can have a contract with me. It's confusing, but I want to try it at least," answered Virgo with a wrinkled nose.

Natsu pondered for a bit and thought that it was due to his demi-god physique that he was able to form a contract with the celestial spirits.

"Okay... let's say that it's possible to be my contracted celestial spirit, but why do you want to be with me? You can also be with Lucy. She's a bonafide celestial spirit mage compared to me." asked Natsu with a cocked head. Lucy also perked her ears to listen to the answer.

"I know the princess here is also a good choice for my master. But I can't choose her when there's a better alternative in front of me, please be my master!" replied Virgo seriously.

"Sigh… do you have a reason to choose me specifically? Why do you think I'm better suited to be your master than Lucy?" asked Natsu with a quizzical smile.

"That's right; why don't you want to be my spirit? I can promise that I will never mistreat you. Is there any specific reason you chose Natsu over me?" said Lucy with crinkled eyes.

"There's actually a very important reason for that," said Virgo dramatically, making Natsu and Lucy tense to hear it.

"Tell me, what is it?" urged both Natsu and Lucy impatiently.

"Princess, you can never fulfill my desire. On the other hand, I know that the prince will fulfill all my wish," replied Virgo, seriously making both Lucy and Natsu surprised.

"What do you mean I can't fulfill your wish. Just tell me about it, and I will do anything you desire," said Lucy in a loud voice. She doesn't believe that there is something she can't do that Natsu can.

'Please don't let it be what I think it is.' thought Natsu internally in worry.

"My wish is to get punished. You are a kind person, Princess. So, you will never do anything to harm me. But, I want to get whipped, mistreated, and get punished sexually for doing anything wrong. I can feel that I will get my wish fulfilled staying with this gentleman. So, please accept me as your celestial spirit master! Treat me as you little slave hehe…" answered Virgo with a creepy chuckle. She had drool leaking out of the mouth, making a lewd face imagining all the sexual abuse she would get out of Natsu.

Lucy made an incredible face looking at the drooling Virgo. But, soon she became beet red due to embarrassment. She looked at Natsu with a disgusted face.

"Fuxk! I know this was going to happen. And why are you looking at me like I'm a piece of shxt?" Natsu exclaimed out loud, pointing at Lucy.

"I didn't know you had such a hobby, Natsu. I misjudged you," answered Lucy backing away from him.

"C'mon! Do you really believe I'm such a type of person?" asked Natsu with an angry face.

Lucy relaxed a bit after hearing this but still kept some vigilance. "Yeah, you're right. I shouldn't get worked up after hearing this."

"And you, Virgo! I accept to be your master. Even though you're a helpless masochist, I can still use your help. You're one of the twelve golden zodiac spirits, after all. I would be an idiot to decline to be your master." said Natsu with seriously.

Virgo gave him a genuine smile after hearing this. Lucy just stood at the side pouting.

Natsu and Virgo talked about the contract details and soon finalized the deal. When it was time to return, Virgo gave him a peck on the cheek and said with red cheeks on her usually stoic face. "I can't wait for you to call me for service. Please call me anytime you want to punish me."

Then, she disappeared from her spot, leaving a dumbfounded Natsu touching his cheeks.

Lucy just stared at him and asked suspiciously. "You're a lucky guy. You have such a lewd maid who will do everything for you. Every guy would be happy to have such a lewd private maid."

"Yeah yeah, I'm the luckiest guy in the world, if that is what you wanted me to say. Let's leave this place. I want to finish this quest as soon as possible. Are you done reading the book, by the way? If so, then let me destroy it," said Natsu trying to change the topic.

It worked as Lucy protected the book as her life depended on it. "No! I won't let you destroy the book. I think there is something important hidden inside the book. Let me read it first, and then we can talk."

"Okay, okay, I'll hand over this duke to the magic council. With all this evidence, he won't be able to escape from the council," said Natsu to which Lucy nodded.

Then, Natsu brought the duke to the nearest branch for the council and handed him over there with all the evidence of his crimes.

Lucy also deciphered the message hidden inside the book and told the client about it making him a crying mess. He wanted to reward us, but Natsu denied him saying that they didn't complete the quest. Lucy was about to question him, but he denied her any chance to speak by dragging her outside, explaining his reasoning on the way, making her shut her mouth.

They rested on an inn for the night and took their leave early in the morning. The journey back was uneventful. Lucy was thinking about her first quest and lamenting the fact she didn't earn anything. She kept on complaining to Natsu, who was absentmindedly thinking about the best way to utilize Virgo.

They arrived at Magnolia within few hours. Natsu asked Lucy to inform the guild about the mission failure while he went outside the town to find a suitable place to train Virgo.

'Virgo's an earth mage, and she's a celestial spirit. So, she must have some affinity with space. If what I'm thinking is possible, then she will have an overpowered AOE skill. I can't wait to test it out.' thought Natsu internally with glee.
