Chapter 54: Deliora's Revival
"Do you really want to do it here? I don't mind, but don't you have to stop the demon? You know, before visiting you, I already fixed the temple with my magic. I guess the ritual is mostly finished already. Deliora should be revived at any moment now." Ultear said, making Natsu stunned. That's right! This wasn't the time for romance. He has a demon to take care of first.
"Damn it! How could I forget about that? There's no time left. I hope that the demon wasn't revived yet." Natsu said, hurriedly separating from Ultear. She looked at him with a coy smirk.
*ROOOOAR!*
He was about to head to the temple, but a roar sounded throughout the island, stopping him in his tracks.
"F*ck! I raised that flag myself. Damn it! I'm too late to stop the revival." Natsu cursed with a frustrated expression. He wasn't sure whether Deliora was dead or alive since it wasn't canon anymore.
"I'm sorry about this, Natsu," Ultear said, looking down in shame. She felt ashamed over her earlier actions. Natsu sighed and gently stroked her head.
"Silly girl, don't worry about it. I'll destroy the demon even if it manages to revive successfully. Let me show you my strength. I bet you'll fall hopelessly in love with me after seeing my awesomeness." Natsu spoke with a wide grin making her blush, but she didn't avoid eye contact with him. Seeing his confident eyes, she felt that he could easily trounce the demon.
Natsu didn't wait for her to reply and flew toward the origin of the sound. He wanted to deal with this demon swiftly. He was pissed at him for disturbing his romantic moment. First was that damn frog and now a demon. He wanted to unleash all his frustration onto Deliora.
What he didn't see was Ultear looking at him with a loving expression, sporting a genuine smile while looking at his departing figure.
"Baka, I don't care whether you're powerful or not. I'm already in love with you. You successfully stole my heart inside that cell. I couldn't stop thinking about you after that incident." Ultear mumbled in a wistful voice. She looked at his departing figure for a long time, even after he was out of sight.
"I guess I'll have to change some of my plans," Ultear muttered before leaving the area. She decided to change for the better. After knowing that she could never replace her past, she planned to embrace the present.

After leaving Ultear, Natsu headed toward Deliora's location. When he arrived, he saw Deliora rampaging in the temple. It's angry roars sounding throughout the entire island. He saw that the ice that encasing Deliora was melting rapidly, with only a large crystal remaining of the previously colossal chunk.
Deliora was a massive, dark blue humanoid Demon. He had a broad torso and two large arms that ended with scaly hands. On the left and right part of his torso, as well as around his neck, Deliora was covered with a series of spikes. He also had two large legs, whereas the feet resembled those of a bird, with additional spikes on the back. His hair was mane-like in shape, flowing down to the nape of his neck. He had a pair of horns that pointed upwards, jutting from a plate centered on his forehead. He also had large pointed teeth, as well as two hollow eyes.
Natsu didn't spare the rampaging demon a glance and just headed straight towards the melting ice. He wanted to see whether Ur's soul was still present in the ice crystal or not. He wanted to at least save her soul for now. He didn't have any method to recover her body, but he could transfer her soul into an object for safekeeping.
'I hope I'm not too late to save her.' Natsu thought after reaching the ice. He drew an intricate Magic circle on the ground around the small crystal, kneeling in front of it.
'Let's check whether my version of 'Milky Way' works or not. Igneel told me that all dragons could sense spiritual beings, so theoretically, it should be possible for me to do it as well. Since this is an incomplete spell, I can only transfer a soul into an object.' Natsu thought before chanting some draconic words. He threw his arms into the air before a beam of light sprang from the earth into the sky, creating a ripple of light that moved outwards in bursts.
These beams of light sparkled like stars and formed ribbons of light that moved throughout the area, touching everything that once contained life. Natsu soon discovered Ur's soul inside the ice, but it was quickly fading. He clasped his hands together, as if in prayer, and the Magic circle glowed brightly, pulling her soul out from the ice. He looked around and found a cubic shaped ice crystal. He didn't have time to search for a suitable vessel for her soul, so he quickly transferred it into the crystal.
While Natsu was busy rescuing Ur's soul, Deliora finally noticed him due to 'Milky Way's bright light. He looked at Natsu angrily and started charging a large lime-colored energy ball in his mouth. After charging for a while, he fired powerful lime-colored energy beams from his mouth towards Natsu.
Natsu was still at the final phase of the transfer and couldn't move from the place. Making him unable to escape the beam.
*BOOOOOM!*
The beam successfully hit its target, leading to an enormous explosion, scattering flames and dust everywhere. Natsu was nowhere to be seen due to a large amount of dust covering the area.
Deliora didn't care about whether Natsu dodged its beam or not, and fired multiple powerful beams at his location, causing even more explosions that shook the entire island.

Mira and Lucy were preparing to battle the remaining members of Lyon's team, but after hearing all the commotion they paused their battle, looking at the temple grimly. The entire island was shaking loudly, and they'd heard a loud beastly roar echo throughout the island. Team Lyon also looked at the temple with gleeful expressions. Team Lyon consisted of Lyon, Yuka, Toby, and Sherry.
Yuka was a short, slim young man, distinguished by his extremely brushy and squared black eyebrows. His eyes, too, were black, while his hair, initially arranged in a number of spikes pointing upwards was an unusual bright blue.
Toby was a lean-built, mildly muscular young man of average height with distinctive animalistic features. He had a pair of canine ears sitting on his head, a small dark nose, and a lower face which was colored differently from the rest of his body, bearing a resemblance to a canine muzzle.
Sherry had blue eyes, pink hair, large breasts, and a curvaceous body. She had her hair tied in pigtails, her choker tied into a ribbon, a purple and pink short spaghetti dress with light pink trimmings, black leggings, and high-heeled sandals. Her dress appeared to have two long and thin wings at the back.
"Finally, Deliora has been revived. Now Lyon can exact vengeance for us. We've waited so long to kill that demon." Yuka shouted in relief. The other two members of the team also nodded their heads excitedly.
"Let's finish our battle as well and return to Lyon-sama. I need to see that hateful demon's death with my own eyes." Yuka spoke, looking at Lucy and Mira coldly. The other two also got into fighting positions. Lucy was afraid of facing them, so she quickly hid behind Mira.
"Sigh… I guess it's time for me to get serious as well." Mira said with a sigh, making Lucy and the remaining members of 'Team Lyon' confused. She didn't want to harm others if possible, but if they threatened the well being of her friends, she wouldn't hesitate to obliterate them.
"What do you mean? You may have ruined our plan of using poison jelly, but we can still eliminate you easily. Let me ruin your pretty face in the name of love." Sherry stated while looking at Mira hatefully. She didn't like it when someone was more beautiful than her. She felt that the girl in front of her would steal her beloved Reitei-sama.
"That's right. We're very powerful." Toby said while smiling comedically. He looked just like a puppy waiting to pounce on some treats.
"What should we do, Mira? Natsu hasn't arrived yet. We can't handle them by ourselves." Lucy muttered timidly. She still didn't know how powerful Mira really was.
Mira patted Lucy's head gently and spoke with an angelic smile. "Don't worry, Lucy! I can handle these pests by myself. No need to trouble Natsu over such small stuff."
Lucy was surprised and wanted to stop her, but Mira hastily headed toward the trio with the same angelic smile. "Congratulations! You pesky insects successfully made me mad. I'll show you why I was called Fairy Tail's 'She-Devil'. Takeover Satan Soul: Halphas!" Mira shouted, transforming into her Halphas form, making the trio horrified.
Mirajane grew horns made of long sky blue scales, extending backward to a pointed edge. The horn's scales also extended to form a pattern on her face. Her ears, hidden behind her horns, became pointed upwards reminiscent of those of fictional elves. She gained similar scale-like coverings on her forearms and hands, as well as her legs, and she grew a large, sky blue, stocky, and seemingly aquatic tail.
Her clothes changed into a light and dark blue striped one-piece suit, with pointed shoulder-pads revealing her arms and legs. They were open on the front and the back, exposing most of her stomach, ample cleavage, and upper back. She also sprouted two sky-blue wings, composed of numerous spiky scales that were always pointing upwards.
"Get ready to be crushed like bugs, you pesky insects. I'll properly whip you up," Mira said while raising her magic level to an enormous level, making the trio drop on their knees fearfully. Mira had hidden her sadistic tendencies for too long. Now that she had an opportunity to display them, she all too happily took it. She sported a sickening smile while looking at the trio. Lucy gulped nervously, looking at Mira. She didn't expect her to be so powerful.
