Chapter 80: Virgo's Punishment?

The next day, Natsu heard about Lucy and the gang taking a job of subjugating some thieves. The gang consisted of Lucy, Erza, Gray, Lisanna, and Happy. If he remembered correctly, this is the arc where Lucy saves Loke.

"Hey, Natsu! There you are! We're taking a thief subjugation job, do you want to join us?" Lucy suddenly appeared in front of him and asked with a smile, while the gang immediately focused their attention on Natsu.

"Sorry, Lucy! I have something important to do today. You guys can go without me for this job. Besides, with Erza there you won't need to worry about anything. Isn't that right?" Natsu replied while following it with a question, making everyone nod except for Gray.

"Hey, what do you mean by that? I'm also going there. Do you mean to say that I won't be able to protect my friends?" Gray asked with narrowed eyes. He didn't want to be underestimated, especially by his self-proclaimed rival.

"I'm sure Natsu didn't mean it that way, Gray. Let's get going already, it's getting late." Erza tried to calm Gray down. She didn't want him to get knocked out as usual after fighting Natsu, and she didn't want to carry extra weight on their trip if possible.

"Aye, we're going to kick some thieves asses." Happy chirped happily before Lisanna hugged him into her bosom with a warm smile.

"Please take care of my sister while I'm gone, Natsu." Lisanna requested politely, an angelic smile on her face. It's really suitable for her to be called 'Fairy Tail's angel.

"Don't worry about her. Nobody can harm her while I'm alive." Natsu replied before winking at Mira who was curiously watching them. Mira smiled in return after hearing his words.

"Okay, stop wasting time and get going already. I'll talk to you when I'm back from work, Natsu." Erza said while dragging the others along her. She didn't want to waste her time on unnecessary stuff.

'I wish you good luck saving Loke, Lucy! There's not much I can do to help you there.' He thought while sending them off with a smile. Then, he suddenly remembered something, making him freeze in place.

'Shit! I forgot about Virgo. I haven't summoned her for quite a while. I hope she's not too angry with me. I'll need to make sure to summon her later.' He thought while shaking his head. He had to prepare for future events. He knew Jellal's goons would soon be coming for Erza. He didn't want to be caught off guard and regret it later.

Natsu approached Mira and greeted her. "Hey Mira, good morning!"

Mira smiled, "good morning to you as well, Natsu. What do you have planned for today?"

"Hmm… Nothing other than training, I guess. I want to modify 'Fairy Law' into something suitable for me. So I'll be busy the whole day."

"Good luck with your training then. I'm also kind of busy today. See you at nighttime, Natsu." Mira said before winking at him naughtily in the end. Now he really couldn't wait for nightfall. Mira left Natsu and continued her work.

'Calm down, Natsu… I shouldn't get too obsessed with sex. I still have a lot of things to accomplish after all.' He thought, calming down slightly before he left the guild and teleported to the place he trained in during the previous day with Makarov.

"Let's see, 'Fairy Law' uses light magic as the primary elemental affinity to cast." Natsu pondered while studying different books Makarov gave him about 'Fairy Law'. He wanted to see whether or not he could substitute light magic for fire magic in the spell. His primary magic was flame-related after all.

After studying for a while and modifying the different parts of the spell responsible for using light magic and substituting it with his fire magic, Natsu was able to successfully modify the spell into his own version of 'Fairy Law', or in his case, 'Dragon Law'.

He replaced light magic as the power source with his 'Fire Dragon Slayer' magic and successfully created his own 'Dragon Law'. He further optimized the spell to work efficiently with his other magic and modes like 'Fire Dragon God' mode, 'Amaterasu' mode, etc. naming the spell 'Dragon God Law' and 'Amaterasu Law' respectively. He also did numerous test runs for the spell, completely decimating his surroundings while he was at it.

"Hum… I guess that's it for the spell. This will be one of my most powerful attacks. I can't wait to try this out on my enemies. They'll be gone before they know what hit them kukuku..." Natsu mumbled with a chuckle. He wanted to try out his new attack on some test subjects as soon as possible.

"Okay, now time for another thing. Open Gate of the Maiden! Virgo!" Natsu spelt the chant to call for his loyal maid. Virgo appeared in front of him while bowing slightly.

"At your service, master! Finally, you remember your lowly servant." Virgo said with an emotionless voice, but you could see that Virgo sported an extremely dissatisfied expression on her face.

"Ahem! It's not that I forgot you, Virgo. It's just that there wasn't a suitable situation to summon you. I didn't want to waste your time on unnecessary things after all." Natsu said while clearing his throat, trying to make up a plausible excuse. He didn't want to disappoint his private maid after all.

"You shouldn't worry about it, my prince! Please call me whenever you desire. Your wish is my command." Virgo declared, looking a bit more relaxed. It looked like Natsu's reply satisfied her.

"Anyway, I wanted to ask you something, Virgo!" Natsu tried to change the subject by asking her a question.

"Please ask me anything you need, milord. I will answer whatever you ask of me." Virgo said, followed by a dramatic bow. She looked like a loyal retainer of an emperor, ready to do anything for his sake.

"Stop with the dramatic poses, please. I just wanted to ask you about your 'Star Dress'. I heard that it helps the caster use a portion of your power. Am I qualified to use your 'Star Dress'? And what is your 'Star Dress' like? Will it be a maid dress for me?" Natsu asked her curiously. He kind of wanted to master her 'Star Dress' as well, but if it meant being dressed up as a maid then there was no way in hell he would do it. He had the dignity and pride of a dragon to uphold after all.

Virgo was surprised to hear him asking her about 'Star Dress'. It was one of the secrets of celestial mages, but she still answered him diligently. "Yes, Master is able to use my 'Star Dress'. No, my 'Star Dress' won't be a maid uniform in the master's case, as much as I would like to see it. Had Miss Lucy acquired my key, then she would have a maid uniform as my 'Star Dress', but in master's case, I think it would be a butler uniform."

"Hmm... I guess a butler's uniform is better than a maid one. Well, I'll test it out later then." Natsu mumbled while looking at Virgo, who watched him curiously.

"Umm… Do you want anything, Virgo?" Natsu asked, feeling like something was off. He felt as if he forgot something important.

"Didn't master promise to punish me? I'm still waiting for your punishment." Virgo looked at him with hopeful eyes. She wanted her master to treat her roughly, using and abusing her in whatever way he pleased. She was a hopeless masochist after all.
