Chapter 83: Teaching Kagura (II)

"Hai, Natsu-sama…. Wait for me to catch up with you. I won't disappoint you." Kagura replied with determined eyes, a resolute expression on her face that looked incredibly cute with her nose pinched. Natsu smiled when he saw her firm appearance. She looked like a brave warrior-princess.

"Anyway, Natsu-sama… I was wondering about something Erza-san said." Kagura said while shyly twirling her hair around her fingers, making Natsu ponder. He didn't know what Erza told her about him. He hoped it wasn't anything too embarrassing.

"Go on, I want to hear what Erza told you about me," Natsu asked her with a curious gleam flashing in his eyes.

"Umm… Erza-san told me that you're in a polyamorous relationship with Mira-san and Erza-san. She also told me that you will have more lovers in the future. Is that true, Natsu-sama?" Kagura asked with a slightly expectant gaze. It looked like she wasn't too bothered about him having a harem. She had a traditional mindset, where it was normal for a strong man to have multiple wives and concubines.

Natsu was glad to see that she wasn't bothered by his relationship. He also liked Kagura and wanted to make her his, but he didn't know how to break the ice and say that he would definitely have a harem in the future, but it seemed like he was worried about nothing. He was thankful that Erza had solved his problem.

"Well, that's true. I'm indeed in a relationship with multiple women, with their consent, of course. I'm a bit special, you see. I'm the son of the 'Fire Dragon King' Igneel. Therefore, It's expected of me to have multiple mates. Besides, I don't want to be a hypocrite and lie that I will never love another woman other than my mates. Dragons are lustful creatures, and it rubbed on me since I'm a 'Dragon Slayer', and especially because I was brought up by a dragon king." Natsu answered her calmly. Well, it was kind of correct that he was influenced by his dragon slayer body to choose multiple mates. However, the main reason was still his past dream of embracing numerous beauties.

"Umm… I'm glad to hear that." Kagura muttered with a relieved sigh. It looked like she was worried about something and his answer had cleared her mind of all her worries.

"Why are you glad to hear that? Do you want to be my lover as well?" Natsu smirked and teased her. Kagura became red as a tomato hearing him. She was embarrassed that Natsu heard her muttering.

"N-No, it's not like that…" Kagura hastily tried to deny it with red cheeks. She looked cute trying to deny it, making Natsu want to tease her even more.

"Then, does that mean you hate me. I'm sad to hear that…" Natsu said with a faked sadness in his tone. He faked a downcast expression, making Kagura feel extremely guilty. She didn't want to see such a miserable expression on his face.

"T-That's not it at all, Natsu-sama. I don't hate you at all. I-Instead, I l-like you a lot..." Kagura stuttered out before closing her mouth in her end. She accidentally confessed her feelings to him, making her blush deeply, her face looking as red as a tomato. Natsu was surprised to hear her accidental confession but smirked in the end. Now, he had another reason to tease his cute student.

"Oho? I didn't think my little disciple had feelings for me. It looks like I've failed as your teacher." Natsu said with a teasing voice, making her all the more embarrassed.

"Umm… T-That's not true… Mou... Natsu-sama is such a meanie…" Kagura tried to deny his words, but she couldn't make any excuses. So, she just turned around and squatted down, pouting. Natsu smiled at her antics. For some reason, he loved teasing his cute student.

"Ano, Natsu-sama? Let's just say, hypothetically, that I truly loved you. Would you accept me, even when you already have Mira-san and Erza-san?" After a while, Kagura asked with a hopeful tint in her voice. She knew that she was in love with her teacher. It was love at first sight. The way Natsu saved her from Vulcan so heroically greatly captivated her heart. She didn't want to deny her feelings anymore and attempted to indirectly ask him for an answer.

Natsu was taken back by the sudden question before smiling warmly. He embraced her from the back, making her yelp in surprise. Then, he placed his lips on her cute ears and whispered seductively, "If you truly loved me, then I would gladly accept you. You see, I'm also very fond of you."

Kagura was overjoyed to hear his answer. She felt her heart fluttering with his whispers. She was so depressed when Erza told her about his relationships. She wanted to be with him but thought that it was too late for her, but when Erza told her about their unusual relationship, she felt her hopes reignite again. She wasn't worried about Natsu having multiple women as his mates. If it meant being with him, she would gladly compromise. Besides, it's not like she had any other choice other than that.

They stayed like that for a while. Natsu broke the hug after a while making Kagura kind of sad. She wanted him to embrace her more, but it looked like that was it for today. Besides, it's not like they were officially in a relationship. She confessed to him indirectly and he answered her the same way. She needed to gather up her courage and ask him out formally later, but before that, she wanted to meet up with Mira and Erza and talk about it. She didn't want to be seen as a homewrecker.

Suddenly, Natsu's stomach started grumbling making Kagura giggle.

"Well, I'm starting to get hungry from all the training. Let's head back and have a nice meal at a restaurant. Do you want to join me, Kagura?" Natsu asked with an embarrassed smile making Kagura nod in agreement. She was glad to be able to spend more time with her crush.

"I'd be glad to join you, Natsu-sama," Kagura replied enthusiastically. She stood up and wiped the dust around her clothes and stood in front of him.

"Then, let's get going. I can't wait to have a nice meal." Natsu said, reaching out to her with his hand. Kagura bashfully took his hand, and both of them walked back to Magnolia holding each other's hands, looking like a young and naive couple. Unfortunately, no one was there to see it.
