Chapter 85: Akane Resort

Natsu woke up early the next day. He gently removed the sleeping Mira from his chest and went to take a nice shower. Afterward, he put on some clean clothes and left a note on top of the nightstand to inform Mira of his departure. Lucy asked all of them to gather at her apartment at 7 AM.

"Have a good day, Mira." Natsu gently kissed her forehead, making her smile while asleep. Then, he left his house and headed over to Lucy's home.

On the way there, he met Kagura who was carrying a small suitcase filled with only the bare necessities.

Kagura noticed his arrival and happily greeted him. "Oh, good morning, Natsu-sama! Are you excited for the journey as well?"

"Morning to you as well, Kagura. Yea, I'm pretty excited about the vacation. Here, let me take your luggage. I can store it inside my 'Requip' inventory." Natsu returned her greetings before taking her luggage and placing it inside his storage.

"Well, you didn't have to do that, but thanks for your help nonetheless, Natsu-sama." Kagura thanked him with a warm smile adorning her face.

"Then, let's go. I don't want to hear Lucy whining about our late arrival hehe…" Natsu chuckled while offering out his hand for her to hold. It had become a habit for him to hold her hand when they were walking together. Kagura shyly took his hand before both of them left the place.

When they arrived at Lucy's apartment building, they found Erza and Gray standing there carrying their own luggage. Gray was carrying a small suitcase whereas Erza had a cartload full of suitcases.

Natsu and Kagura reached them and greeted them.

"Good morning, Erza, Gray. By the way, Why are you carrying so much stuff, Erza?" Natsu asked her curiously.

"Well, We're going to a luxurious place, that's why I carried all the stuff I thought I would need there. I don't want to regret not bringing them. I've got various dresses and accessories inside of my luggage." Erza answered his question with her own reasoning. She spent most of her night planning out her vacation. That's why she ended up bringing up such a huge amount of luggage.

"Okay… Then, you won't mind if I store it in my inventory right? It must be hard for you to carry all this stuff all the time." Natsu asked her while looking at the mountain of suitcases while Kagura talked to Gray about something.

"That would be a great help, Natsu. To be honest, I didn't want to spend the whole vacation carrying this stuff." Erza eagerly agreed to his offer and so Natsu quickly stored all of them inside his pocket dimension.

"Here you go, by the way, where's Lucy?" Natsu asked, not finding the sponsor of their vacation.

"She's getting ready inside. I think she'll be out any moment now. Speak of the devil, there she is!" Erza replied, noticing Lucy's arrival.

"Hey guys, sorry for the delay! Let's get going now. Our destination is the Akane Resort! Yay!" Lucy half-shouted while pumping her fist in the air excitedly. All of us smiled at her apparent enthusiasm and left her porch, heading toward the train station. Natsu didn't forget to store her luggage inside his inventory as well. He only left Gray to carry his own stuff.

Erza asked Gray to buy tickets for all of them, to which he begrudgingly accepted while Erza, Lucy and Kagura started having their own special girl talk amongst themselves. Natsu could only sigh and wait for their departure.

After a while, Gray arrived with the train tickets in his hands, allowing all of them to board the train toward the Akane beach where the resort was located. It was situated in the southern part of Fiore.

The ride there wasn't exciting at all. All of them just made some small talk and discussed their plans for the vacation.

"Welcome to the Akane Resort. I hope you'll enjoy your stay here." Natsu and the gang were warm-heartedly welcomed by a female staff member. All of them started looking around the resort in excitement. The staff gave them a tour around the beach which all of them enjoyed.

Akane resort was located on the Akane beach. It was one of the most popular tourist spots in Fiore. Among its many attractions were the giant amusement park, the five-star hotel and the huge sandy beach adjacent to the sea. The hotel also housed a casino in its basement where visitors could enjoy themselves.

"That's it for the tour, guests. If you have some luggage, then please bring it out. I'll ask other staff to bring it to your room. Here are the keys to your hotel rooms. The room number is printed on the holder so you won't get lost. Again, enjoy your stay here." The staff member bowed at the end of her speech and left them to continue her work.

"What are we waiting for, let's get going! I can't wait to see what my room looks like! Let's meet up later guys!" Lucy shouted excitedly while leaving for her room. She couldn't wait to check it out.

"You guys can enjoy yourselves, I'll leave your stuff with the staff. They'll bring it to your room later." Natsu said, excusing himself. He went to the reception area and asked the staff there to bring their luggage to their respective rooms. He'd already memorized their room numbers when the female staff member handed them out.

All of their rooms were quite far from each other. Natsu found his own room on the third floor. When he entered, he was greeted with a luxurious sight. The room had high-quality furnishings with great aesthetic details. There was a comfortable and classy looking couch with a table in a front and a king-sized bed with a lamp on top of the nightstand beside it. The adjacent wall had a painting of a beautiful woman. While there was a large bathroom attached to the room, which looked comfortable to use. The room also had a balcony from where you could view the entire beach.
