Chapter 95: Natsu Vs. Trinity Raven

"Ho ho ho, it looks like 'Salamander' is underestimating us too much. I'll make you regret it. You don't know how many arrogant people like yourself we've murdered. Jet Magic: Missile Ho Ho Hou!" Fukuro said, launching his rocket packs at Natsu's direction. Natsu looked at the incoming attack disinterestedly.

"Tch… Why are most of my enemies idiots? Don't they know that explosions can't harm me? Fire Dragon's Iron Fist," Natsu mumbled while engulfing his fist in his flames before he punched the incoming missiles, creating a massive explosion. Then, he sucked out all the surrounding flames with a satisfied expression.

"Thanks for the meal, I guess. Let me repay the favor." Natsu cleaned his mouth and dashed toward Fukuro, but instead of getting surprised, Fukuro made a gleeful expression and opened his mouth wide enough for Natsu to enter.

"Ho ho ho, you must be in a hurry to enter my stomach. Come here and let me eat you, 'Salamander'." Fukuro said, aiming his mouth toward the incoming figure.

"You look so hungry, here have some of my flames. Fire Dragon's Grip Strike!" Natsu swiftly arrived in front of him and gripped his jaws, releasing a vast amount of explosive flames inside his mouth at point-blank range, making him cry out painfully.

"Ahhh!!! Stop it!! It's so hot. My insides my burning." Fukuro could only cry painfully while the flames destroyed his internal organs. Soon, he went silent and flopped down the floor. It was uncertain whether he was dead or alive.

"That's for all the crimes you've committed. If you're ready to kill someone, be ready to be killed as well." Natsu turned his attention toward the shocked duo watching him cautiously. They thought Fukuro would be able to eat and absorb 'Salamander', but the tables turned too fast for them to react. They weren't sure of what to do after seeing their defeated comrade.

"My my, that was a brilliant move, 'Salamander'-han. You got us there, but don't think that you're some hotshot just by defeating him. Mugetsu-Ryu: Yasha's Empty Flash!" Ikaruga said, releasing another sword strike. Natsu instantly dodged it, but he was met with another attack.

"Don't forget me, you bastard. Take this, Hair Whip!" Vidaldus Taka growled while expanding his hair and controlled it to physically attack Natsu with enough strength to shatter stone.

"Heh… I guess you really want to be bald that badly. Fire Dragon's Roar!" Natsu smirked and unleashed his breath attack, burning all of his hair. Vidaldus was horrified, watching his beautiful hair get burned into ashes.

"Nooo!! How dare you burn my sexy hair! I'll fucking kill you bastard. Hear this and become my slave Sound Magic: Rock of Succubus!" Vidaldus cried out loud and started playing a particular song on his guitar. He released the melody and sent it in Natsu's direction to try to take control of his mind.

Natsu looked at the incoming attack with disdain. He wasn't worried such a pathetic mind control attack would work on him, and as he thought, the melody couldn't affect him at all.

"Heh… Do you think your pathetic magic can affect my mind? Let me remind you of who you're dealing with." Natsu swiftly teleported in front of Vidaldus, making him unable to react.

"What the…" Vidaldus didn't manage to continue his words when Natsu attacked him.

"Fire Dragon's Claws!" Natsu ignited his feet in fire and kicked the right side of his head, knocking him out instantly. Vidaldus didn't even get to cry out as he soared a few feet away from their location, crashing into the walls.

"Mugetsu-Ryu: Garuda Flame!" Ikaruga took this chance to create flame from her blade and released a powerful sword slash toward Natsu. She wanted to sneak attack him using her most powerful attack.

Natsu looked at the incoming attack with clear mockery visible in his gaze. Why did his opponents keep on attacking him using fire-based attacks while fully knowing they won't harm him?

"Didn't you hear what I said before? No fire-based attack can harm me. Now, Why don't you be a good girl and surrender?" Natsu easily swatted the incoming attack away, making Ikaruga surprised before she shook her head to his question.

"Well, I wanted to give it a try, at least. That was my most powerful attack. If it failed, that means I'll have to continue attacking using my previous strikes, and there is no retreat in our field of work. The moment I took a life, I was prepared to face the consequences. So, face me like an enemy. I won't give up so easily." Ikaruga calmly replied, getting into her sword stance. It looked like the previous failures didn't affect her that much. She had a determined expression on her face.

"I have to commend you on your bravery, at least. Most people try to escape when their strongest attack fails. It's a pity that you're my enemy; otherwise, we could have been good friends." Natsu said, shaking his head. He genuinely felt admiration for her, but he couldn't afford to show mercy if the other party refused to surrender.

Ikaruga smiled but still continued her stance nonetheless. It looked like she was ready to face her last battle with dignity befitting of a warrior.

"Mugetsu…" Ikaruga couldn't finish her strike before Natsu instantly teleported in front of her and kicked her sword away. She wanted to grab it, but Natsu didn't let her.

"A swordsman without a sword is no threat at all," Natsu whispered as his knee struck her guts, making her groan painfully. She wobbled, her legs shaking. She looked ready to fall unconscious at any moment.

"What a waste of talent. If you weren't my enemy, I would have gladly taken you under me." Natsu sighed, and karate chopped her neck to knock her out. He knew she wouldn't surrender so quickly, but at least he tried. Unfortunately, he didn't have any more time to deal with her. He had to head upstairs to meet Jellal.

"I hope I reach there before the 'Etherion Blast', but who knows when the council will fire it?" Natsu mumbled and started running upstairs. He hoped he wouldn't be too late. He knew it was risky, allowing Erza to go there ahead of him, but it was a risk he would gladly take if it meant she would see Jellal's evil self. He wanted Erza to get over her childhood trauma once and for all.
