Synopsis

Clair, a 20 year old gamer, logged into the VR MMO 12 Elements to play as Eris, the 14 year old ice elf, for the last time. Today was the last day of the 6 month Beta release and a special event was being hosted for all players. Ito, the game company in charge of 12 Elements, promised OP drops for their player base, such as limited time mounts, pets, spell books, secret jobs and orange equipment. Anything and everything a hardcore gamer could want.

However, when fighting the special event boss Klargen, he managed to develop intelligece and awareness, and massacre the hundreds of Beta players involved in the event. The Beta players were killed by unnatural deaths, and didn't respawn into Limbo (the graveyard).

Clair gets smashed, loses her vision and is blocked from returning to Earth until Klargen receives a battle worthy of defeat.
