Pack meeting

The Full moon was approaching in one day's as Lar was restless his eyes were looking at the far off river and back to the valley, his mate Blizzard walked up to his side and sat down waiting for him to talk but nothing came out, but a sigh.

"You should not worry too much about this stuff," spoke Blizzard in a calm voice "You will get Grey fur if you keep worrying," she mocked as her head went under his maw, being met by a warm lick on her scruff.

"suppose your right," Lar's voice was raspy and his body was positioned crookedly, before shifting to a more comfortable state his ears heard a loud shriek of a wolf being attacked.

Lar shot up and rallied his pack to investigate what was happing on his borders, once they reached the border a dead she-wolf was sprawled out on his territory her throat was ripped out as deep bite marks shown the wolfs resistance, Lar tasted the air getting the scent of the Mountain pack's scent stuck in his nose.

Whatever happened to this young female was not in good of their pack, smelling around more Nails was here, his thick scent was all over this female as he lifted his head swiftly calling his pack to grab her and drag her body across the river back onto Mountain pack territory.

After they put the she-wolf back they heavily marked their territory border Midnight sniffed the territory border trying to learn more about Lar and his new pack, the scent of inexperience ran through Lar's scent he was young and so was his mate, Midnight sniffed for more but nothing else was present.

"for now on we will scout our territory for any enemy pack intruders," Lar Barked his voice was rough and hid the faintest sound of fear.

heading back to the den the now older pups soon to fully join the pack ran over to them exchanging scents on information they did not witness after everything calmed down they all rallied together as a sign of their growing pack.

Once night hit Lar slept next to Blizzard her light fur blending with his dark fur between them, as everyone slept Midnight sat looking at the den walls before laying himself down ready for the rest that awaited him.

Dawn awoke Lar as the streams of light hit his eyes, he arose padding out of the den to check on the valley and any new scent messages, but nothing was sent by the mountain pack, sighing in relief Lar woke up the pups and took them into the woodland part of his territory for more training.

The pups yawned as they followed close to their father who had his head down, stopping the pups looked up at Lar questioning looks crossed their faces.

"Why did we stop," asked Shadow, her amber eyes looked at her father in confusion.

Lar silenced her as he whispered "Today you all will go out and hunt one thing,"

he stopped for a second "then bring it back to the den," his voice was stiff and slow.

All three sped off to hunt by themselves, Lar flicked his tail to his side making Gray come out of the bushes.

"So what now," he asked his voice quiet and friendly.

Lar shifted his glance to the area the pups ran off, "We wait," he spoke before turning back to the den site.

Thunder lowered himself down his once grey pelt now turning darker making his white parts stick out, a rabbit was feeding on a mulberry bush in front of him, stalking it slowly so he did not spook it he jumped on it grabbing it by its scruff suffocating the rabbit.

Happy with his hunt he padded back to the den spotting his little sister next to him her weight made her able to not be heard and she was nimble enough to catch a giant crow it's raven feathers falling bit by bit as she walked.

"Where is solider," asked Thunder his mouth covered by the heavy rabbit.

"Don't know," Said Shadow her amber eyes looking forward in the direction of the den site.

Solider stood shaking his prey in his jaws before crushing its windpipe, a nice sized rabbit, its tan fur was covered in blood as its brown eyes were dull, he padded back to meet up with Thunder and Shadow, but he only saw their paw prints, following them he was lead back to the den as Lar sat two animals in front of him both of his siblings finished before him.

Feeling down Solider slowly padded over to place his kill in front of Lar, his blue eyes stuck looking at the ground.

"Well done all of you, but" Lar stopped looking at the pups and then back down, "Shadow, you will be Beta female," his voice was rough but was sweet at the same time, "Thunder you will be delta along with your brother, make me proud boy's," he smiled as his now one-year-old pups.

Once more they Valley pack rallied in success on all three young wolves passing their first hunt,

they took to their meals eating them with joy, but Solider hardly touched his hunt only eating half of it.

He slowly finished seeing the time Lar gathered his pack up to let them know what will happen, this time the whole pack was needed to join due to this being all three packs met in the same place to discuss what needed to be done or fixed.

"Alright everyone, keep behind Blizzard and me," Lar spoke his voice vibrated through the dirt making his statement clear.

As they reached the dark part of the woods thick scents of other pack wolves filled the air as they crossed over some thick brush entering a wide opening many wolves sat talking to each other, Thunder and Shadow wagged their tails as they followed patiently to be able to meet other wolves.

"Wait here now, I must sit with the other alpha's," Lar barked lightly as he padded up to his stone and sat patiently for the meeting to start.

The swamp alpha was named Smog, due to how his fur blended in with the foggy muddy area they lived in, Lar looked next at Nails who was moving his tail side to side his gaze was on Smog, Lar let a yawn out.

"Shall we start the meeting now," spoke Smog his gold eyes looked at the others his face was kind.

Lar nodded in agreement as did Nails, the moon was at its highest peak in the sky as the packs started to talk among themselves.

"Why are we here," Shadow whispered to her mother as Blizzard was sitting in an open spot.

"We are here to see what needs to be done or what has happened," Blizzard looked over to Shadow who was standing beside her.

Shadow nodded her head as she walked to her two brothers who were wrestling under a big pine tree, Solider was a bit bigger than Thunder, she padded closer to them making them stop playing.

"What are you mouse brains doing," she spat standing in front of the two.

"were just playing, what got you to be so serious?" Thunder said his voice was snippy.

Solider put a paw on his brother's shoulder making Thunder shift his glance from Shadow over to him, Shadow let a small huff out before leaving the two to sit next to a wolf from the swamp pack, a young male around their age with black and white fur and green eyes, she seemed to know him a bit by sniffing his scent.

"Today we are here to see what has been done within the packs, who will start us off," spoke Smog his eyes looked into the crowd of wolves before him.

"I will," Nails barked, his large body raised up into a sitting position.

The wolves went silent, a twig could be snapped and everyone would be able to hear it.

"On one of our patrols, we encountered a female wolf intruding our territory, She was also hunting our prey, which one of you alphas had one of your wolves intruded my territory," spat Nails his voice was venomous.

Lar shifted his vision over to Nails who was lying to the other wolves, Lar gave him a disturbing glare before speaking.

"So what did you do with this "intruder", Nails," Lar had used a bothered tone towards Nails.

Nails ears shot up and his eyes seemed to flicker.

"Easy I sent her over my border," Nails spoke quickly not realizing Smog was also intent on his answer.

"Then may I ask why a female wolf was found dead in my territory with your scent all over her," Lar seemed to send invisible daggers through his tone.

Smog raised an invisible eyebrow to Lar's comment his green eyes seemed to shift over to Nails next, his greying fur seemed to tremble.

"Well, what is your answer, and if so why did you lie to the three packs," Smog said calmly his dark fur made his bright green eyes seem more menacing.

"Er...never mind, continue with what you have to say next," Nails voice held defeat as he hung his head down a bit.

"It is my turn now I assume, well all has been good we got a litter of happy pups that have now made excellent pack members," Lar spoke highly of his pups before changing over to Smog's update.

"Everything seems to be in order then, the swamp pack has nothing to really report, so I guess now is the time to go before dawn hits," Smog let one more smile go before hopping down his rock to be nuzzled by his late mate Nuka.

As the three packs left to their territories Nails smacked Lar with his tail warning him what will come in time from making him a liar in front of all the packs.
