Lunch 2

"It's over, I'm over, she's just too beautiful! I think I'm in love..." the male student mumbled slowly.

"Throughout the whole school, who isn't in love with Rekha? But you better give it up lest you incur the wrath of Rakesh" His friend replied when he heard his words.

"What? So she's Rekha one of the flowers in our school. Are you blind? Isn't she sitting with her boyfriend? Did you forget she already rejected him many times? and Didn't we hear yesterday that she was kissing her boyfriend in class when they were alone looks like it's true" The male student sneered

"You're right we did hear but never would I have thought it was true" His friend nodded.

While Jon was able to hear all their conversation even if they were talking in a very low voice. It's wasn't just them the most of the students in the canteen were talking about them. He looked at all the students all of them had Jealousy, envy, and hatred on their face but Jon shook his head a little he didn't care about any of them and continued to eat his food.

Rekha who was eating with him said: "Hey, this isn't bad at all."

Jon's face twitched a bit what do you mean isn't bad it's the most expensive food available in the canteen and this food is equal to the food in good hotels and he didn't hesitate to say it on her face "Of course it isn't bad. I ordered the best dishes available in the canteen how could they be bad" Jon was surprised at his own words why did I say those words but didn't think too much about it.

Rekha was a little embarrassed by Jon's words she had forgotten that she was eating canteen food mostly she would bring her own lunch which is made by her mother who happens to be a Master Chef before she married her father but she quit after she got married how can canteen food be compared to that. When Jon left the class while she copying the notes and chased after him but she forgot her lunch in her bag. Only a few people in school knew about her background. She said nothing and silently ate.

After a few minutes, Jon finished his portion he stood up and starting to leave but Rekha stopped him: "where are you going at least wait for me to finish" She looked at Jon with a little bit of anger with Jon's behavior how can he leave when she still wasn't finished.

Jon looked at Rekha and said: "I'm not leaving. I'm going to order more food."

Rekha looked at Jon in disbelief said: "What, you already ate 2 adult's food equivalent food and you are going to order more. What do you have a stomach or a well"

Jon smiled a little and looked at Rekha who had her eyes wide open after hearing his words said: "growing body needs more energy. The food I ordered was enough for me but since you took some of it. I need more and I haven't eaten for more than 24 hours that's why I need to eat more"

His words again stunned Rekha he hasn't eaten for more than 24 hours how difficult is that only a few people in the world can do that. She remembered that she forgot her lunchbox in her bag when she heard Jon calling came out of her thoughts and said: "don't order more I still have my lunchbox in my bag after, I finish this, I won't be able to eat that and it will go waste so you can eat it."

Jon looked at Rekha as if she was a big stupid said: "why didn't you bring it in the first place instead. You don't like homemade food, do you?"

"It's your fault that I forgot my lunch and I love homemade food," Rekha said

Jon: "What do you forgetting your lunchbox has anything to do with me"

Rekha: " If you didn't leave even when I stopped you. I wouldn't have run after you and forgotten the lunchbox hmph..." she pouted her mouth.

Jon looked at her and thought in his mind who told her to run after you. He sooks his head it stopped thinking about it and said: "So are you going to get the lunchbox or I get it since you are still busy eating food."

Rekha: "what are you stupid? Don't you know that you can't touch other's stuff especially girls?" She didn't want Jon to open her bag coincidentally it's her period time and she has a sanitary pad in her bag how could she allow anyone to open her bag especially a boy.

Jon: "It's only when you touch without their permission. I wouldn't have touched it without your permission"

Rekha: "No, boys shouldn't touch girl's stuff" she was embarrassed when she thought of Jon opening her bag and finding the sanitary pad. She didn't know how come suddenly she thought about it.

Jon: "So by the time you finish eating and come back with your lunchbox lunchtime will be over so let me order more food" although Jon wasn't hungry but he wasn't full either and wanted to eat some more because after school he wanted to exercise the Sky Steps so he needed lots of energy for that.

When Rekha heard his words she also was troubled by it. She could get the lunchbox before lunchtime is over but she would have to eat food very fast. Which she definitely wouldn't. She thought for a while then looked at Jon who waiting for her answer said: "If we go to the classroom we would still have some time before lunchtime is over. So you can eat my lunchbox in the classroom." she didn't want to say it at first but when she saw Jon was waiting for her to answer and ready to order more which means he was still hungry. So she decided to let Jon eat her lunchbox in the classroom because she was already almost full and food in the lunchbox would go waste.

Jon heard her words thought she didn't want to waste the food as she ate here and was full so she giving her lunchbox to him didn't think too much said: "ok" while nodding his head

After Rekha finished the food on her plate they left the canteen and went towards the classroom.
