Chapter Fifty Nine: A Choice

Hayley's POV: I woke up laying next to Elijah. I had started to think about all the horrible events of yesterday, but then I looked at Elijah and remembered how we danced, how we gazed into each other's eyes, dancing to our music, ignoring the crowd of people behind us. It made me realize that my day would be much better! He woke up shortly after I did, I was staring at him, he looked so cute sleeping, and he saw me, I was embarrassed, but I didn't care at the same time because he was just there, then he got up and went to his bathroom. I looked around realizing how huge his room was, even bigger than Nik's, never mind, I didn't even want to mention his name right now, I was still angry at him. But anyway, I heard bath water running and went to check what Elijah was doing in there...

Elijah's POV: Hayley walked into the bathroom, so I quickly shut the door behind her, she looked confused. I told her I was preparing a bath for her, I figured she'd want one after all the stress she's been through lately, especially with all the Klaus drama! I put some bubbles for her and gave her anything she'd need. I was feeling a little epic this morning, she was happy too, she was smiling again. And all along I thought Niklaus was the better man for Hayley, it was really me. I've made her smile the most recently, I'm not sure how she feels, but based off of what I know this seems accurate...

Hayley's POV: I made Elijah turn around while I got into the bath, he brought me champagne while I was in the tub. He was being so thoughtful, he's made me smile the most so much these past few days, he showed me the good side of him which I don't think he knew he had, and he opened up to me just as I had to him, we continued to talk until we went through about 3 bottles of champagne, by then I decided to shave my legs, then I accidentally cut a huge gash in my leg!

Elijah's POV: Hayley cut open a big cut in her leg, I know how to control the blood lust, so it didn't bother me that bad, of course I wanted to feed on her, but I knew I had to fight it, then Hayley asked me to bring her a glass, I did not knowing what she was about to do...she drained some of the blood into the glass, about half way full. Then she gave it to me and told me to have at it. I'm pretty sure she was drunk, I mean so was I, but I couldn't resist it anymore, I drank all the blood in the cup until the last drop was gone, and I was completely fine after, still drunk, but no longer blood thirsty. Then I kept looking at her cut, so I took a different cup and bit into my wrist so that my blood poured into the cup, I gave it to her and told her to drink it so she would heal. She did and her wound healed quickly. I might have given her a little more than just to heal her but that's ok. As long as she doesn't like die or something she's good, and we were having a great time. That was until Niklaus busted through the door...

Klaus's POV: I opened the door to Elijah's bathroom when I heard Hayley and him in there. I was so relieved when I saw that he was fully dressed and only she was in the tub, however that didn't make me any less angry. So I asked him what the hell he was doing, he said that he was letting Hayley take a bath while having his awesome company, which was a total lie. Then I smelled it. Blood, I saw two cups sitting on the counter, one had Hayley's blood and he other had Elijah's! So then I asked why their blood was in cups. Elijah explained saying that Hayley cut herself while shaving and was bleeding pretty bad and she could see that he was hungry. So she got a cup and put her blood into it and gave it to Elijah to drink, and then he offered to help Hayley by feeding her some of his blood to heal her. So I asked Hayley if it was true and she shook her head yes...

Hayley's POV: I asked Elijah for a towel, since this situation couldn't get anymore awkward, and got out of the tub. I couldn't believe how Nik was acting, I mean I understand, I was in the tub while his brother was in the bathroom with me, but nothing ever happened so he had nothing to be mad about, we were just going through a rough patch I thought. Then he asked me something. He asked me to choose between him and Elijah...
