Chapter Sixty Three: Paradise Ends

N: It was about a week later, Klaus still wasn't present, Kaylee and Hayley got closer as friends and were soon best friends and Elijah was have some alone time with Hayley in between...

Klaus's POV: I decided to wait a little while since Hayley had chosen Elijah instead of me. That was until I got a call from Elijah saying they needed me back as soon as possible. I wasn't sure what that was about but I couldn't just ignore them forever, they obviously needed my help with something...

Elijah's POV: I called Niklaus because we needed help, I didn't tell Hayley yet, I'm hoping she won't ever have to know, but i think Clarissa is back in town, after almost 100 years. I figured this out because last time I was ever around Clarissa she'd do special little things for me while Niklaus wasn't around, and I was never sure why, but now I do. She wanted my attention, she must've been watching Niklaus, Hayley and I for weeks now because she wrote notes and left them pinned to our door, one saying "I'm coming for you, even if I have to take out your girl in the process. Xoxo C-" I knew immediately that she was talking about Hayley, who else could it be, especially since they're doppelgängers. I read in a book while I was researching the doppelgänger topic by myself that the original doppelgänger will stop at nothing to kill their mirror self. That's why I called Niklaus to come back, I didn't want to worry Hayley, but at the same time I didn't want to keep it from her. Since I knew she was with Kaylee, our new little practicing witch, I told Kaylee everything to keep an eye on her and that I didn't want Hayley to be worried about anyone, or herself. She agreed, and when Niklaus got here I explained everything...

Hayley's POV: Kaylee just showed me a text from Elijah saying that Clarissa, Elijahs ex that looks exactly like me, was back in town and that Kaylee needed to keep an eye on me, so obviously she showed me so that I could go over there to get some answers. Which is exactly what I was going to do...

Klaus's POV: Elijah and I were trying to figure out a way to draw Clarissa out and get rid of her. Suddenly the door flew open and Hayley came rushing in, she ran up and grabbed both of us by our throats, we were surprised and had no idea she was that strong, she must've been feeding extra for that kind of strength. Once Hayley grabbed us by our throats she slammed us against the wall screaming at us. I guess it's true when they say a vampires emotions are heightened, she was really mad! She yelled saying that we should've told her and that we shouldn't be keeping secrets from each other...

Hayley's POV: After I basically threatened them I calmed down a little bit and when I did I asked them what the hell was going on. They told me that Clarissa was back in town and was looking for us all and that she threatened me to get to them. I was shocked, but most of all...scared. This lady must've had like 100 years on me, I mean I know Elijah and Nik have 500 years over my like 2 weeks, but they wouldn't hurt me, so I know this Clarissa chic is way stronger and more powerful than I'll ever be. So after everything was clarified I asked Elijah and Nik if they would teach me how to get stronger so I could defend myself against her! They said they could train me some basic moves, but she's still have an age advantage over me, but it's better than nothing obviously...

Elijah's POV: Hayley asked if Niklaus and I could train her to be stronger as a vampire, we said yes, but after she left to get ready for some training Niklaus said that he'd let me do it since we were together and he didn't want anything to be awkward. But that makes sense considering we never cleared the air between all of us. I feel bad but on the plus side I get to have alone time with Hayley again, well we'll be fighting for training, but it's still better than being smothered by everyone else 24/7. I told her that we start training tomorrow...
