Celebrate

Deep in the night, at the foot of the suburban mountains. Four men were sneakily going through the forest.

They were quick on their feet, but no sounds could be heard at all.

If an ordinary passerby saw them, one would think of superheroes roaming in the dark.

Their movements were well coordinated. It was as if they were mirroring each other. With just one look, anyone can definitely see their years of experience.

And in just a few minutes, they already reach the heart of the forest.

They stop their tracks 10 meters away from a small deserted cabin.

It was dilapidated at first look. It was clear that the building was unfit to live in, but the faint image of smoke coming out of the window says otherwise.

Not to mention the rowdy looking men guarding outside. All of them were fully equipped with guns. It seems like they're patrolling the grounds.

It was apparent that something significant or dishonest was currently transpiring with its look.

The four men examined the scene before one of them turned around to face his comrades. He motions some signs, and the rest nod their heads as a response before splitting up.

Jax, the leader of the four, waited for a few minutes before starting the plan. He needed to make sure that everyone was in their place.

After estimating the time his team will be in their designated place, Jax lifted his gun.

Presently, 12 people are guarding the outside of the cabin.

Six were in his front, and the other six were roaming to the side or patrolling at the back.

Jax was sure that the rest could handle the remaining half. So without any hesitation, he pulled the trigger six times.

Just like magic, six people simultaneously drop dead one after another.

Six seconds for six people. Mark just rolled his eyes at the scene. Why did he have to be the closest to Jax? Their leader didn't even miss a single target.

Poor souls, they didn't even see it coming. And even if they did, bullets were already coming through their way even before they could utter a word.

No matter how many times he witnessed this scene, he still couldn't help but be astounded and frustrated every single time.

Mark could only dream of being like Jax. He acknowledge that their leader was born with this talent and that he could never be on the same level as he is, even if he trained for years.

'Damn that golden hands of yours, captain.'

But, the playful scowl in Mark's face instantly vanished and turned back to being serious when he noticed that two men were already coming in his direction. He may not be as good as Jax, but he was also someone deserving of his position.

In a blink of an eye, the two men were already lying on the ground. Mark smiled, satisfied with his work.

And within the span of 3 minutes the four men already cleared the scene. All that was left was 12 dead bodies.

Now that the outside was taken care of, the four men slowly approached the warehouse. One on each side.

Even from afar, Jax can hear the loud laughter coming from the house. It seems like they are currently having a party.

Instead of barging their way in, the four men settle themselves on each side of the house. They were trying to assess the situation inside before proceeding with the mission.

On the other hand, the people inside are unaware that they were already entirely surrounded by outsiders.

All they could think of at the moment, was the successful trade that they did hours ago.

Gabriel, a man with a scar on his right eye, suddenly raised his beer and made a toast.

"These stupid Filipinos didn't even know that their country was being used as the trading post of drugs, guns, and human trafficking. Well, luckily for us, their stupidity will only make us richer. Cheers to that my boys!"

Loud cheers came from all sides of the house. Glasses of beers were raised in the air and joyous screams and laughter resonated inside.

As they were celebrating, on the eastern side window of the house, Jax is observing the oblivious men.

A total of 7 men were inside, they must have had a higher position to have the pleasure to celebrate rather than guard outside.

"7. 4 have pistols. 3 weaponless." Jax whispered through his earpiece. "Leave the man with a scar alive, we need him. Go in 3." He continued.

The 3 men nodded their head in agreement.

This mission isn't particularly hard but, it was still very important to the point that Jax's team was dispatched.

These guys weren't even notorius or infamous, just people who sell illegal items for money.

The military has a lot of people more suited for this job than a special force like Jax. But, there was a report that this group might be working for an organization that the world government has been trying to take down for years now.

That is why, no matter how little these guys are, they can't take them lightly.

After waiting for 3 minutes the four men barged their way in forcefully, leaving the people inside stunned.

Because of this, before they even have the time to defend theirselves, bullets already pierce their bodies.

Gabriel, who was laughing and celebrating a while ago, was now scared witlessly at the scene infront of him.

Blood was splattered everywhere, even on his body. But none of it was his, it all belongs to the people he have worked with half of his life.

Gabriel carefully look at the four men, unstained with blood, but their eyes were full of lust for it.

"Gabriel Muscato, 38, a spanish men who worked in the black market at the age of 16. Apparently, there was a word that he has a connection to the VX5 organization circulating underground." Seth, one of the four men, frostily stated.

Jax looked at the trembling man, he looked different from the man that was calling the citizen of this country stupid earlier.

Gabriel's eyes widen when he heard the name of the most wanted organization in the world came out of the man's mouth. He wasn't shaking because they knew he has information about the organization, he was shaking because it wasn't true at all.

Gabriel has been bluffing earlier this year about having a connection with VX5 just to scare the people underground. The scarier they get, the more respect he will receive.

What Gabriel didn't expect that those bluffs would cost him not only his life, but also the people under him.

Mark who has gotten tired seeing Gabriel's shaking body, pulled his stun gun and shoot the man's body before he can even confess the truth.

Aciel, who silently watched the scene, looked confusingly at Mark.

"What? I want to go back already. The man was shitting himself, do you think that he can even utter a single word, let alone think?" Mark justified his actions.

"Whatever, as long as you're the one who'll carry him." Aciel muttered.

"What?! I thought my turn was already done? Captain, look at this cheating bastard, it was supposed to be his turn now."

"Seth, call the military base for backup, tell them the exact number of bodies that they need to clean up." Jax ordered Seth. Outrightly ignoring the loud complains of Mark.

Mark was left in disbelief. The other 3 was already walking away from the scene. Leaving him alone with the unconcscious Gabriel.

He was left with the task of bringing the body back to their made up base near this mountain.

"One day, I will totally kick captain's ass." Mark whispered as he sack-carry the body at his back.

All the way to the base, all he could think of was how to take revenge to the other three.

Which will never happen, sadly.
