I woke from my nap on the landing ship with Steven next to me "Quit dozing were near" he said to my ear. I started looking at my fellow allies judging by their faces they are scared and either were forced or scared of the front lines. Then a creak of the ship's gate startled everyone and almost immediately our sergeant was shot in the head almost all the soldiers with me in the ship ducked and when the gate was finished opening we ran with guns in the air some were wounded but still ran. After running to a cover I saw more and more of my allies falling dead riddled with holes and opened eyes. "This ain't real it shouldn't be" I shouted then I got slapped by another soldier "shut it and continue pushing through were close!" he exclaimed I agreed and got out of the cover then started running again so much blood on the ground and shouts of both sides was the only thing I can hear. I pulled my gun to point at a random enemy trooper and fired he groaned in pain and fell flat after that I realised this is true and I don't know if I should be happy, scared, enraged, or sad but with my emotions converging to each other an explosive knocked me out of my dilemma and I continued shooting until I ran out. Empty without bullets I hid in cover waiting for the end or another soldier to come next to me to get ammo from them. I realised that the shooting stopped I was skeptical when I looked at my side they just stared at the other side I was weirded out when I got up I now know why they were shocked. A dent on the wall and a large bang all of a sudden a massive beast dragged about 7 enemy soldiers and retreated we were shocked and started running away all the while the opposing side shot at us. I felt a burning sensation and fell after looking at the source I saw that I got shot then I passed out. I woke up to water drenched in my face "name?" said a man that I can't see just a silhouette "haris" I said "take him to the mine he seems tough enough to brave the depths" he shouted. Then two guards dragged me outside and threw me on the floor. Cold, pain, and fear clouded my mind as I stood up a guard gave me a pickaxe and and clothes. After putting them on a guard shouted "all of you on the ship now!" I went on the ship to be greeted by what appears to be a hundred or so other men like me I sat on the nearest seat "it never gets better in the mines grey same old same old. Best that you follow" said another prisoner next to me "who are you?" I asked "another rebel like you" he said. Hours went by and nothing really happened apart from sleeping and the occasional pipes creaking. This ship must be very old or very weak to work but it still works. The ship stopped and the gate opened that creak gave me the reminder of the first mission I was on I nearly lost it but I stopped myself. "All of you out the freighter now!" a guard shouted all of us walked out and went in one of the seven holes I can see. The guards forced us to work tirelessly to get materials they need like sulfur, gold, or mesium. After what I can describe to be hours they made us stop for the day to rest. We were moved out the mines and into a very cramped but livable space for us to sleep in. Apart from the constant clammoring the bed was comfortable. Day passed and the guards came in "Back to the mines rats" when I started mining a girl next to me asked "you a rebeI?" "yeah was a rebel until now" I answered "see that gate" she pointed to the massive wall outside "we need someone skilled as well as armor and guns because this place is heavily guarded day and night" she explained "No one here can fight and never had combat experience" she added "There that has everything we need take this" she handed me a small knife "Do it at night they won't see you" she began mining again and so did i. Dawn came and the guards shouted that we get out and go to the barracks when the night ate all light except the artificial light I went out. The whole camp was filled with patrols that made this impossible. When I neared a corner there was a guard staring at me and he just fell down dead from a gunshot to the head. I looked up to see a cloaked figure with a rifle in hand looking at me and faded with the dark. I got to the warehouse of guns and armor and broke the lock. Almost immediately a guard was behind me "Don't move!" he shouted. Suddenly a knife went to his throat and killed him it was the girl "Not bad.. here" she handed me a rifle, pistol, and a vest "Right let's kill some order swine." Immediately after we can hear the shouts of rage filling the air around me. Once we went out the whole crowd dispersed and ran into the weapons storage. Minutes after we were armed and ready to fight for freedom from this camp. Two tough and tall men carried what could be a bomb and ppanted it on the gate. "ONE, TWO, THREE!" a loud shout followed by an explosion and crumbling concrete was enough to breach a hole in the gate. After this we all went out and looked at the pitch black sky in relief. Shortly after our little party a squad of hovercarriers came in and fired. Instead of charging at them everyone began to run into the forest in a massive panic I began to run as well quick intervals of light were followed by either hitting another person or hitting a tree. We ran so long and did not know the troopers were not following us. A big sigh of relief is exchanged amongst everyone and we sat down to take a breath. We then heard a sound in the bushes near us what came out was that girl covered in blood. She then stumbled down dead with no signs of coming back up and after this I realised she wanted freedom as well as others but not. To the point that she would destroy a camp with no fear and filled with rage and optimism. Because of this I knew that we won't let her want for freedom for herself and others die out on the ground. We wanted to continue her optimism and fearlessnes we want freedom we want war.
