Demons

Jungkook's P.O.V

"Do I flee or do I face my Demons?"

The opposing question that Jungkook replayed over and over in his head.

I made up my mind and took my phone out and called the house. Jimin answered.

Hello?

I went silent and then hung up.

"Wait, what am I doing?" I asked myself.

I sat there for a few minutes in silence when I decided to go out for a walk to clear my mind. It was peaceful and quiet until I heard a voice. It was almost as if it was right behind me, but when I turned around there was no one in sight. I continued walking and then heard another voice. I looked around to see who was talking but still, there was no one around so I shrugged it off and kept going.

"So Jungkook, are you just gonna keep avoiding us?" Asked a deep voice.

"Come on son, no one ever really escapes us," said another deep voice.

I looked around and still saw nothing, but when I turned back around and looked forward I was met with two floating figures that looked like me, but they were like ghosts, until I realized that they weren't real, just my conscience.

"What do you want from me?" I asked annoyed.

"We're just here cause of you. You've been a very naughty boy," replied one of the shadowy figures. "We're just here to make sure you decide to make the right decisions. But just remember we're only in your mind."

"What the hell am I supposed to do to get rid of you then?" I asked.

"The right thing. Just do the right thing and you will be back on track with your life," said the other shadowy figure.

"We're here because of your guilt; toward the people you've killed," replied the other shadowy figure.

"Yeah, but I not only have guilt for them I also have guilt for the people my brother killed," I cried.

"Yes, but you shouldn't feel guilt for the lives you didn't destroy," replied both of the shadowy figures at the same time.

"Okay? So...don't kill the only person in my life that has destroyed my life?" I asked the figures.

"Bingo," replied one of the figures.

"Great. I'll just avoid him for the rest of my life."

"You should just deal with it and go back home," said a familiar voice. I turned to see Yoongi.

"Yoongi-hyung? But you're dead, I killed you," I said confused.

He laughed. "Don't worry I'm not here to haunt you, I just wanna help." He shrugged. "I forgave you the moment you pulled the trigger."

I stopped, squeezed my eyes shut and shook my head and to my surprise my head was clear and I felt a little better. I opened my eyes and I found myself at the beach so I took my shoes off and sat in the warm sand at the edge of the water. I laid down and fell asleep.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

I opened my eyes and saw people all around me. I realized that I was woken by the sound of a large truck. I got up and along with my shoes I started to head back to the hotel. I checked my phone and saw a whole bunch of missed calls from Jimin and a whole bunch of unread messages. I decided to ignore them and when I finally got back to the hotel I saw someone familiar at the front desk, it was Jimin.

"What the? How the hell did he find me?!" I muttered to myself.

I quickly went around to the back of the building and went up to my room.

My phone started ringing. I looked at it and it was Jimin. I ignored it and it started to ring again. Jimin again.

"Ugh! When will he stop?" I yelled out angrily.

It rang again. I decided to answer it.

"WHAT? WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" I yelled angrily.

"I just wanted to see how you were," said Namjoon.

"Oh, Namjoonie hyung, sorry. I thought you were Jimin hyung," I replied. "I'm good."

"That's good. Also I was gonna ask why you keep avoiding Jimin's calls," said Namjoon.

"No reason," I replied coldly.

"Okay, well I gotta go," said Namjoon.

"What? That's all you wanted?" I asked.

"Sorry, but I have to go to work," replied Namjoon. "I'll text you later and perhaps you should just suck it up and talk to Jimin."

He hung up.

I stood there in silence oblivious to what had just happened. I picked my phone up and decided to call Jimin.

And he answered.

"Jungkookie! Thank god you called!" He said in a panicked voice.

"Hey, hyung," I replied. "How are you?"

"Truthfully? Not very good. I've been trying to call you, but I can never get a hold of you," said Jimin. "Something happened, three people were found here killed."

"Oh god! Who?" I asked as surprised as I could.

"Taehyung, Yoongi and Soo-Min," replied Jimin sounding stressed, his usually beautiful voice had become raspy.

"I'm on my way! I'll be there soon!" I said trying to sound shocked.

"Thanks bro," said Jimin.

I hung up and placed my phone in my pocket. I got my pumas on and went down to my car. I paused before starting to drive.

I got back to the house and parked and went in. I found Jimn in the kitchen. He looked tired and overwhelmed.

"Hyung, I'm here," I said.

He looked up at me and weakly smiled.

"Jungkook! Thanks for coming." He got up and started walking to me.

He opened his arms and pulled me into a hug. I could feel warm tears falling onto my neck.

"What am I supposed to do now?" He asked. "They're gone! Everyone I've ever loved, is gone."

"I'm sorry, hyung," I replied as I hugged him back. "Maybe you should get some sleep," I suggested.

He nodded his head in response and we went up the stairs to his bedroom. Once his head hit his pillow he was out. I took his shoes off for him and put them at the foot of his bed and then I put the blankets over him and left. I went out and passed where everything happened and everything was so clean. No blood and no bodies.

"You see Jungkook? Your brother isn't that bad. He is a good person but like a normal human being he's not perfect. No one's perfect and that's what makes you human," said one of the dark figures before they both disappeared.

My mind was finally silent and clear again. I sat on the couch and ended up falling asleep.

"Jungkook!" Yelled out Jimin.

"Hyung?" I replied.

"Let's go! Mom and dad are waiting." Jimin replied.

"Mom and dad? What are you talking about??" I asked confused.

"Come on Kookie, stop playing around they're coming back from California and we're gonna meet them at the airport," said Jimin happily.

"The airport? California? But this is all wrong, they died in California," I said.

Jimin grabbed my hand and dragged me out to his car. We got in and headed for the airport.

When we arrived, we went in to wait at the arrival terminals. Minutes later we saw our parents and siblings.

"They're alive?! But this can't be!" I thought to myself.

We all piled in Jimin's car and started to head back for home.

As we were waiting in traffic.

"I'm so hungry!" Said Jimin laughing.

"No! Look forward!" I replied.

"Please! Give me just one chip!" Begged Jimin.

"Besides we haven't moved in forever."

I sat there. "Wait, this is really familiar."

We started moving again.

"Finally! We're moving!" Said Jimin happily.

"Watch out for the semi!" I yelled out.

"What? What sem-" before he could finish his sentence they were hit by a large semi truck. The car flew and landed upside down on the roof.

"Jimin! Get Jungkook out!" Yelled our father.

"But, dad?" Said Jimin.

"Just do it!"

Jimin did as he was told and just as he got me out the car blew up along with our parents and siblings still inside.

"No! Mom! Dad!" Yelled Jimin.

-end of dream-

I woke him up to some one shaking me. I opened my eyes to find Taehyung.

"Taehyung?" I said looking up at him confused.
