Sleep Together

Zhao Mingzhe pursed his lips and wiped the water off his face with the sleeve of his gray velvet robe.

Then he started removing the robe, revealing only swimming trunks, which surprisingly matched with her. It was a top-dye with moss green on the sides.

Han Yixin had seen his upper body before, on the day he took her for a tour of the house. However, right now, she actually remembered how hot he is.

She turned around to hide her blush.

He had a sly smile on his face, ready to tease her.

He immersed himself into the water and moved towards her.

"Yi-Yixin...Xiao Xin..." he tried to call out.

"Huh?" She turned around to face him, confused that he called out in a familiar manner.

He smiled as he brushed some hair off her face with his hand.

"You can call me however you want, too." He was then stroking her cheek.

Her mouth gaped but she was lost for words.

Zhao Mingzhe moved closer and his hand slithered down her shoulder and back.

Though the pool is heated, the touch sent chills on her back.

She held back a moan. "Mi...Min...Ah Zhe..." Her face was flushed in no time as he continued to rub his palm against her back.

He raised a brow over the nickname. It was the same his ex used to call out to him. He was determined that from then on, only this woman before him can use it.

He came really near and whispered in her ear, "Call me again." His warm breath enticing her.

"Uhm...Ah Zhe..." she complied shyly.

The next moment, he cupped her cheek and kissed her passionately. His roaming other hand kept on exploring her body.

She was gasping for air the moment his lips let go of hers.

Seeing that she looked exhausted, his face was worried.

"Hey, are you alright?" He quit messing around and held her steadily, supporting her shoulders. He swam back to the edge of the pool and emerged from the water with her in his arms.

He took the bathrobe and wrapped her in it, before laying her on the sofa.

"Wait for me." he told her half-conscious face.

Then he dashed to the closet.

He dried himself and changed into cotton pyjamas and took the matching nightgown with robe for her.

He hurriedly came back and helped her change, not minding her body at all. He just wanted to make sure she is alright.

When he was carrying her towards the bed, Han Yixin opened her eyes fully to better look at his face.

"Zhao...uhm, Ah Zhe..." she weakly called out.

"Yes, my wife?" He had a gentle smile once more. Gone was his worried face when she called out to him.

"Are...are we...gonna...sleep together?" she asked with difficulty as she furrowed her brows.

"Of course." he replied with a bigger smile.

"Oh..." She looked defeated.

He sighed as he laid her gently on the bed.

Then he lied beside her and closed his eyes.

.

The next morning, Han Yixin woke up with a slight headache. Although she often drinks wine on social functions, she might have drunk too much last night because she ate too much as well.

She noticed that she had changed into a nightgown, but she felt no discomfort.

She sat up and looked around, that man was nowhere in sight.

She got up from the bed and called out, "Zhao...Zhao Mingzhe!"

She walked around the room. The bathroom was empty as well as the walk-in closet.

'Where did he go?' She frowned.

Just as she was about to go out the hallway to look for him, she stopped on her tracks as she remembered not looking in that place.

When she drew the curtains, she saw him leaning on the railing of the veranda, his back on her.

She mustered the courage to call out. "Ah Zhe..."

He swiftly turned around when he heard her soft voice. As he did, she frowned to see a lit cigarette between his lips.

Noticing her expression, he remembered that he was smoking. He quickly put it out and threw the rest of it into the nearby trashbin.

She coughed lightly. "You smoke often?" she asked. She never saw him smoke before.

He looked guilty. "I...I'm trying not to..." He scratched his nape.

"But you still can't...just like in my case." she mocked herself.

"Xiao Xin...what do you mean?" He walked towards her.

She shook her head. "You told me that you are not disgusted with me, yet you won't do it, even if you had the chance."

He pursed his lips, then sighed. "Xiao Xin, tell me the truth. Did you want to do it last night?"

He was confused. He knew from her expressions the night before that she was not willing. She looked like she was only cooperating because she was obliged to do so. He could not do it with her if she was giving that expression.

"Ah Zhe...did you not get the consent from me?"

"You call it consent? It looked like you were surrendering to your captor."

"So that's it? You call it a honeymoon but you refuse to consummate the marriage?!"

His eyes widened. He did not expect to hear these words from her.

"Han Yixin...you're my wife, not my prisoner. You don't take orders from me. If you are really not willing, I won't force you just to fill in your insecurities."

"Heh...did you not order me to board your plane? Did you not force me to come here? Why are you pretending to be a gentleman and backing out now?" She had a sneer.

"Han Yixin, I don't want you to regret..."

"Why? Are you planning to divorce me? Should I save myself for another man, huh?" Tears are brimming from her eyelids.

"Xiao Xin, no...don't say that! I won't...I would never divorce you!"

"Even if your ex comes back into your arms?" Tears streamed down her cheeks. "Zhao Mingzhe, everytime you hug me, kiss me...I can imagine a lot of things...a lot more, that you did with her. I feel inferior because I think that you aren't touching me because you could only do it with her!"

"No!" He swiftly embraced her, tighter than ever. "Don't say that! I want to do it with you! Not because I have the legal right to do so, but because I want you!" he shouted, not caring if anyone else can hear. "But...but I don't want you to hate me...so I dare not to, if you're not ready." he explained.

She looked up at him as she sobbed. "I...I will not regret. Zhao Mingzhe, I surrender my whole self to you as your wife. Can you...make me feel that I'm your woman?"
