Hunting with Deus

One week later

Wurkus: Kaa how is the wall doing?

Kaa: Prety good. We managed to build it really fast.

Wurkus: That's good. Now we can relax in a way, but we would need guards.

Kaa: I know that. Carl and I start training some of our people that would want to become a fighter. From 15 fighters that were at the start to 30 now, that's a good increase in strength. As we are right now we can mostly defend from any threat coming from the town. As a matter of fact, if I get the chance to fight a life and death battle with a monster I may be able to become a warrior.

Wurkus: Wow. We started with 50 people and now more than half of them are fighters. I'm 100% sure that when Carl von Jun hears about this would freak out.HAHAHA

Katha would be hilarious.

As these two were speaking, Deus was hunting in the forest.

In the last week, he grew to be one meter and as small as he is right now, he can hunt. In fact, half of the food brought to the village was provided by Deus hunting spree.

While he hunts, Deus would always check his surrounding and if he suspect that something is off, he would retreat or wait for an opportunity to strike and so we can see him right now in a tree looking at one big caravan of humans. He knew that this should be reported to his companion, but he wants to spy on these humans, as he found them strange.

They would walk all day while at night they would drink and eat and sometimes they would mate with some females that aren't from their race.

Another reason for his strange action was the cages on four of the carts. He tried one night to open one of them, but unfortunately for him, he managed to scare some of the people inside the cage and the guards arrived immediately.

Another day passed and Deus was almost sure that these humans were going to the so-called town.

He needs to do something or they would be sold to some nasty human. Then something popped in Deus's head.

How human taste?

With this thought in mind, Deus sneaked behind one of the human guards and bit his neck, killing him in the process. Now that he killed one of them he found that his body was too small for a human, but Deus wasn't sad. He grew more confident and starts to sneak killing the guards until only fifteen were left alive and all of them were sitting around a campfire.

G1: Where are these idiots? Did they go to fuck the slaves? I swear that I'll kill them if they did that.

G2: Well, at least some of us got something from this trip, HAHAHA.

G3: Shut up, this is disgusting, how can they have sex with some beasts.

G1: Hey, hey these beasts are our source of income right so a little bit of respect for them.

G5: HAHAHA, mate you are funny.

G4: Guys, do you see these red eyes behind Mark?

All of the men turned their heads toward Mark how stood there like a statue, blood coming out of his mouth.

G2: Prepare for a battle, we don't know what is, but I'm pretty sure that the rest of our guys are dead and we…

He never got the chance to finish his words, because Deus flew from a tree towards him and with one bite the man falls down dead. The rest of his men were scared by Deus, but they picked their weapons and some branches that they lit up on fire to scare the beast. but unfortunately for them, Deus wasn't scared of fire.

He managed to end the lives of 6 more men before he was found by one of the humans. The human was really strong and managed to cut Deus. With the new wound on his body, Deus's speed starts slowing down and he gets more and more wounds from the humans.

When he was on the ground without any strength left in his body, surrounded by seven humans with swords pointing at him, Deus knew that he was already welcomed by Death, but his time hadn't come yet.

As he was waiting for the humans to end him, noises start appearing around the woods and three minutes later more than 20 beastmen appeared ready to fight and the leader of this group of beastmen was Wurkus.

Wurkus looked at Deus and smiled, but his smile disappeared in the next moment. He looked at the humans and with one strike of his spear the strongest human was killed. The rest of Wurkus men followed his example and attacked the survivors.

One minute later, no human was left alive.

After his men finished cleaning the place, Wurkus walked in front of Deus.

Wurkus: You know that I was worried when I found that you are missing? But I managed to calm down and found you almost dead…

As Wurkus was speaking with Deus, one of his men yelled at him.

RabbitKin: Wurkus don't lie to him if it wasn't for Kaa and Carl and the rest of the boys that were holding you until you calmed down, you would have destroyed anything in your path.

Wurkus: Shut up, don't speak about that.

All of his men burst laughing at his words, but Wurkus wasn't enraged by his men laughing at him, he smiled and walked towards the cages.

Inside the cages the found twenty Beastman slaves that were from the same race Rabbitkin. Most of them were females and only seven were males, but this was a good addition to their village.

After he freed all of the slaves, he asked them if they want to join their village and all of them accepted, even if they wanted to not accept what could they do? Their village was razed and only twenty of them survived. With the new hands joining the cleaning operation, Wurkus managed to capture eight carts with two horses for every cart, the cages were left on the carts while the armors and weapons were loaded on the carts, some of the weaker Rabbitkin were standing on the carts while Wurkus and his men drove back to the village.

When they arrived at the village the Rabbitkin were immediately helped by the villagers while the fighters were unloading the things they obtain.

Food: one week supply of food for twenty people.

It was a pretty good capture. The next day, most of the new Rabbitkin wanted to start farming as they were farming and Wurkus support their idea. He put a new request and that was clearly a big piece of land that can be used for farming. His men were even more pumped that he and the land were cleared in six hours. Now that they have farmers they can produce their own food and keep hunting as a hobby.
