As the Kobold ran on its two legs with its large body, Glass too brought his body forward and held his sword with both arms while dashing forward. The short distance between them was covered in an instant as the Kobold jumped while swinging its sword at Glass and protected its body with its buckler at the same time.
Cling!
Glass swung his sword at the Kobolds' sword and parried it as he used the chance to elbow the Kobold and knocked away its buckler from its hands before he took a step forward and slashed from the bottom up to the air above him.
The Kobolds' hide was thick as it didn't die instantly and was only wounded, unlike its subordinates. Even then, its body was heavily injured as it became enraged and started swinging its sword around randomly as it moved its body forward.
Its injured body slowed it down by a large portion as Glass dashed forward and waved his sword in the shape of a circle parrying the wild swings of the Kobold leader before he let go of his left hand and stabbed forward with his right hand.
Slosh!
His sword stabbed into the flesh of the Kobold leader as he stood sideways like a surfer riding the waves. He stabbed forward until it penetrated through to the other side of the Kobold as he pulled his sword back.
Kee!
The Kobold leader cried as it slowly turned into black smog. Glass waited for it to drop its Magic Stone before picking it up and reunited with Bell who had also finished his battle.
When the two of them met up again, Bell ran up to Glass and said, "Glass - San, you were right. I followed what you said and it worked! I didn't get injured and they both died instantly!"
"It was all your own hard work, even if I can explain it, others might not be able to actually do it" Glass replied.
"We collected a few Magic Stones already, I bet Kami - Sama would be very proud of us!" Bell said as he thought of how Hestia would react when they brought home some Valis on their first day.
"We've been here for a while already, do you want to rest?" Glass suddenly asked popping Bell's train of thought. "Sure" he replied as he came back to reality. The two of them found a spot nearby to sit for a while as they regained their energy.
After resting for a little over ten minutes, they got up and headed deeper into the Dungeon. Even after walking for a while, they didn't spot any Monsters nearby but still kept their guard up regardless.
A few minutes later, they found the entrance to the Second Floor as they both headed down. Heading down the steps and moving on to the next floor, they looked around only to see it look identical to the First Floor.
According to his research, Glass discovered that the First to Fourth Floor of the Dungeon was identical. The only difference was that monsters were more common the lower they climbed the Dungeon.
When they arrived, they saw another party of three at the entrance who were sitting around and resting. The party of three consisted of two female members and one male. The male Adventurer was a human who had a sword by his side while one of the females held a staff in her hand while the remaining one had a quiver on her back and left a bow on the ground beside her.
Bell and Glass walked by them without uttering a sound as they started exploring the Second Floor. Walking around the floor that was identical to the previous one, the two of them didn't rest even after walking around for over twenty minutes.
The entire time they didn't encounter any monsters which was strange considering that monsters were supposed to be more common on higher floors. Only after searching for another dozen or so minutes did they run into some monsters.
Even then, there were only two Goblins which they took care of shortly. As they continued exploring, Glass pondered, "Strange, why aren't there any monsters around? Even if they all died they would respawn shortly"
After walking around for another twenty minutes without spotting any monsters, the two of them had no choice but to leave the Dungeon and headed back up to Orario.
